buying silver seems really fucking pointless unless we get some kind of economic-crash miracle.
yeah we fucking KNOW there is paper-short manipulation by various kike banks.
but from all accounts, this can continue on indefinitely. even post-2008 GFC, nothing really broke this paper manipulation so what's to say another crash would even stop this? i want the paper-shorts to get fucked and for silver to go to $4000/oz or whatever the memes say. but it doesn't seem realistic in the lifetimes of anyone here.

I was an earlyish adopter. I started mining in mid 2010. Btc was meant to fuel a parallel economy. It was great when that's what it was. An easy and convenient way to facilitate commerce outside the state's purview. Once it got subverted into being mainstreamed, and pseudocommoditized, I got out.

Thanks for the new link. With the addition of 2024 and slight changes to the years 2019 - 2023, and projecting global pop to the nearest 500 million, I've updated the spreadsheet.
Your new target to be in the top 1%: 364.4 ozt.
I also got rid of the bulk of the table with the steps. I'm sure anyone can figure out how to add that if they're interested. The sheet can be very simple: input is basically two numbers for each metal: available ozt and global pop (which is the same of course for both).
For kicks and giggles, I've added some posted stats on numbers of US$ millionaires.
Enjoy!

i fucking love copper. i like its warm unique color. even at its worst when it tarnishes it manages to deliver green kino. i like it way better than silver, which i can barely tell apart from aluminum or iron. it has le tech uses just like all the other shilled metals but you can also build whole sections of buildings, from roofs to pipes to wiring with it. you can make food with it. you can build giant statues of yourself. i'm not into precious metals market though. red pill me on copper. can i just buy copper pipes? like to stare at them once in a while.

I honestly think that to stack copper is bad investment for a regular person, it could make sense if you had a warehouse and were buying wholesale. but in my humble opinion it is just not practical to own because it is too bulky. I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for what I'm about to say, but I even think silver is too bulky to stack beyond four or five kilos. for me the ideal metal to stack is gold. gold is more liquid, easier to hide and to carry. it holds insane value even having only a few ounces. I try to keep my stack at a 20Ag-1Au ratio.
having said that, I recognize the value of having some amount of silver to diversify the investment.

Im less than 30 ounces from 2000. It's a hell of a lot easier to stack when silver is $18-22 an ounce and premiums are low. Picked up a second job working weekends just for extra investment income so there was plenty of toil acquiring it all.
It actually sucks now that silver is relatively expensive as well as GME being over $30. These are times when you have to be smart and kick back and stack cash and wait for another opportunity to buy the things you want when they're cheap. Stacking can be addictive but you do have to be smart and not FOMO.

>These are times when you have to be smart and kick back and stack cash and wait for another opportunity to buy the things you want when they're cheap. Stacking can be addictive but you do have to be smart and not FOMO.
That's exactly my strategy too. Fuck DCAing, it's for cucks. I didn't buy a single oz of bullion between June 2020 and July 2022, then again from March 2023 to this day. And my average is like $18. Just load up on cash and wait for a crash is the way to go when you want weight. In the meantime you can fulfill your addiction by chasing numismatics.

You will never meet a happy or successful stacktard 59581727, they don't exist. Just scared little worms, broke and broken waiting to die with their little pile of rocks. Investing is so easy once you understand that it all boils down to capital vs credit while the globe is saturated with debt. Credit assets rely on someone else paying you an income. But in times of financial crisis we will not need to rely on others because we invest in capital assets that are ALSO monetary commodities.

There is no point to putting your money to work in a credit-based system that is at its saturation point. Even with employer-matching 401k contributions giving you an immediate 100% return I expect most people to lose purchasing power in real terms.
1933 proved a harsh lesson and I prefer to situated in such a way that I can profit handsomely on a revaluation. I can also keep my toe dipped in the market with a 401k and some other investments of my choosing (such as GME and mining stocks).
I believe that the revaluation will be as quick and deadly as Delta-P. As soon as the event happens our credit investments will get sucked into the pipe and destroyed. There will be no time to react. There will be no time to go to the ATM or the LCS. You will have to be content with what you have for possibly months. And you have no assets outside the financial system you'll be in the breadlines standing next to some nigs waiting to get some cheese slices for the nights meal.

check the other thread they are talking about quantum. they litteraly explain how in order to crack a wallet you need to have several transactions etc... and it takes time. they dont just magically have information on every wallet just because they invented a quantum computer. each individual wallet will need to spend time with a quantum computer to crack it. so that as soon as a few wallets are actually cracked the information will spread quickly enough to mitigate the damage.

also monero doesnt have this problem since its 100% private and no one can tell where money comes and goes from.

I'm worried about a complete implosion of the financial system ($22TN GDP can not pay back a $46TN bond market). This is why I prefer to invest in capital instead of credit because I don't ever want to be at the mercy of the banksters.
When I am confused I sit back and ask myself, "What would a bold man do?" And then I know my answer. I will stack so much silver that the foundation of my house will be compromised.
Silver not only protects you from infation, but it is a finished product and is also a way to hedge yourself from the cost of labor as well as oil. A lot of work goes in to creating standardized bullion and there is no time like the present to lock in your wealth. When the credit-paper-ponzi implodes there won't be any left! Just toxic IOUs offset by dollar dilution.

Nice, king. 60 ounces must feel sublime in your hand. The weight, the shine, the luster is only the tip of the iceberg of all of the reason to stack a large amount of silver.
60 ounces also puts you in the top 20% of the silver stacks in the world. So even a small investment such as your will revolutionize your portfolio. Not only do you not have to worry about banksters stealing your money through inflation and dollar dilution, but you now own a very scarce and useful commodity that is INCREDIBLY capital intensive to extract. $0.64 over spot is absolutely amazing too. Why is "stacking" a thing? Why is it a hobby?
I bought some silver because I want to have a little bit of security with my money. Makes sense. Buy a bit of silver, bit of gold, bit of platinum. Whatever, done. Another Katrina/Depression hits and you'll make it. Mix that with an IRA/401k, a padded savings account and some assets and you're in a position of stability for the rest of your life that 80% of the world would envy.
Why does this activity warrant a "thread regular" having a manic episode telling people not to buy silver and belittling them for doing so? Why is there so much kool-aid being thrown around about "silver scarcity"?
Every popular Youtube video I've seen on the subject is not financial advice or speculation on a market, or anything productive, all of them look and sound like Reddit-tier hobbyification of something that should be incredibly mundane. Instead I see it turned into this weird autistic fixation game where it HAS to be a "thing", we have to be "stackers" or whatever goofy nickname exists for these people
Are any of you sane? Do any of you have a real plan by doing this? Or do you just endlessly buy silver because 4chan and Reddit have now told you that it's a hobby that needs to be continued?
I don't get it. I understand putting a percentage of your wealth into precious metals as security, anything past that bewilders me. How is buying silver a hobby? It might be unintentionally productive, but it just seems like wanton spending for the sake of it, or for the sake of updoots.
No I am not a paid shill, I don't care either way. The concept of securing value and wealth is great. It's this weird Reddit-esque hobbyification of a mundane financial process I can't get behind. It's weird, right?

Something tells me they are ebay priced. Or they are so rare there isn't a real price other than what they previous person bought for it at auction. I love the history as much as the sticker shock of these items. Fucking hilarious at a certain level. especially for how easy it is to lose or damaged when not handled/stored properly.
I love these shows. The downside is, depending on the time on day and how crowded the place is; some of these guys are real jerks and treat everyone as if they are already an expert

check'd
stuff rated on an "R" scale is usually so rare the grading companies haven't even heard of it.

I have a few R1 through R3 coins I can't get slabbed because nobody at the grading companies has ever heard of them.

had to resize the images. My camera on the phone takes wide photos that are 4200pixels. high quality on the phone but when reverted for 4chan, it just loses a bit of quality. There is also a mode where I can go .5 zoom setting to create an almost panorama

Thats sad, while I know a little about collecting, I obviously wouldn't know as much as some professional who is selling them. Would be fun to go and talk with em but not if they are going to be hostile about it. Did you see any meme coins while there? Would be fun to see an apu coin in the wild

I am a bit miffed at the mint; They didnt ship out my angels in time for the show, and some people are a bit disappointed by it as well. I was able to get a note of zimbabwe, 10 billion. along with some Alpha Goldbacks, a copper round with a simple cannabis theme, and a 2025 red book. I was there to network and get some pictures, data, and supplies to create a pitchdeck for investors in my firm down the road.

Great stuff fren. You decided to go even with your kidney stones issue finally?
I'd love to participate to one of those events. Could meet interesting people and even make a pretty penny if i displayed some of my acquisitions. Tho i'd most likely spend it all immediately to acquire some others ones kek. Do you know how expensive it is to rent a booth in these kind of events?
Did you buy anything?

Talk to the ones with the cool bull. They are more enthusiastic about the art and history. You can tell right away who is there for a quick sale and who is there for the passion of history. I love these shows because everyone has a niche reason for getting into stacking and collecting, and most are connected to each other on way or another, There are also real neat ideas coming out to continue interest in the collectable scene. Like mintage rarities or augmented reality packaging.

565$ for your 1st time in the budget section. around 900 for a middle booth; 1500$ for a corner piece in the aisles. 12 aisles total. The Summer FUn Show is taking applications now! The show is so dope. 4 days in orlando, cant be beat!

This is the first time it has happened and I chalk it up to Christmas shutdowns. I am a bit disappointed with the business of it all; I lost some potential money and exposure because of this. There is always summer, but this is just the process of being the low man on the totem pole.

I thought it was todd (you) who got stones kek, didn't know 2 anons wanted to show up to the same event.
>565$ for your 1st time in the budget section. around 900 for a middle booth; 1500$ for a corner piece in the aisles
fuck that's expensive! No wonder the prices displayed on the tables are outrageous (from what i could see), ppl are trying to pay back their booth.

the booth price keeps the riff raff " who dont have the inventory to support 4 days of thousands of walk ins" out. Plus, liquidating a few morgans gets you in. These guys make mad money at these shows. Pays for the next 6 months rent if they business it up properly. You can alos run around the show picking up coins and haggling for other dealers, picking up a finders fee along the way.
