Got a letter from a debt collector offering to settle my debt at about a third of what I owed on it. Correct me if I’m wrong, but if they’re making that offer, doesn’t that mean that they purchased the debt from the original creditor (chase bank) for less than that, meaning that they’d still make a profit if I took the deal? Also, should I accept their offer? The original debt was about $8500, and the deal was around $2800.

Aw jeez man I can't I have to take deez pills for my baaack bro
>>
Also, before anyone asks, I have been completely ignoring these debt collectors for over two years now.
>>

Offer them 2500 and stop being a piece of shit

Why didn't you just pay the original amount off? $8,500 isn't THAT much money to have to deal with getting hassled by debt collectors for years.

S lot of things went wrong in my life all at once and I simply didn’t have the money. It’s complicated. Going into my job now, Will elaborate later if thread is still up on break.

Might be worth it to pay just to start the timer on the 7 year credit score removal if you can afford it. Unless of course you’re still defaulting on debts then just wait until they write it off.

Tell them to go get their largest and most powerful jew and that you will fight him yourself.

Debt is made up. It doesn’t matter. All banks are directly positioned under the money spigot. The debt collectors paid Pennie’s on the dollar

Correct, debt collectors buy debt for about 5% give or take. Offer them $500. If you keep ignoring them they get nothing so a break even is a win for them

Credit card debt is a Jew scam. They expect white folks to pay it. Don’t do that shit. Take their money and piece out.

in my country, this " smaller " debt would be just to pay off some stuff for them. In reality it doesn't really matter because you still wouldn't be able to take credit. Not sure how it works for you tho.

The longer you ignore it the better. Eventually they'll settle for virtually any amount of money.

Lmfao
>>
>>59603190
Just keep ignoring them. Do not interact with them in ANY way at all.

they print money out of thin air
they gave you some air and then sold it again to some retards who are HOPING to get at least something from you
there is nothing to do here, keep winning
