Are there actually people dumb enough to waste their money on "precious" metals? I don't believe anyone is that financial illiterate.

What exactly do you think is inside a computer?
What do you think is in your phone?
How do you think the people who engineer your smartphones want to get paid?
Do they want to build more phones and cars?
Do we just let it sit there?
What if we wound it up into spooks of wire and built homes with it?
Why have people been buying these retard rocks for thousands of years?
Were my ancestors retarded?
I'm sure you have plenty of questions.
Wisdom has been chasing you but you have always been faster.

Phhh, see you in 2032 poorfags.
I'll retire in 7 years and LINK will be just $25, XRP will be $10 and BTC will be stagnant at $100k.

Silver price manipulation is the lynchpin of the entire economic system. They don't want you stacking silver because they only have a fraction of the silver neccesary for industrial use. Try exporting silver outside of the country and see how fast they shut you down.
>>
>>59605261
>Why have people been buying these retard rocks for thousands of years?
Literally because it was shiny and looks cool. Computers were invented in the 20th century, dumb rock-buyer. Coincidentally, the same century they got rid of the gold standard and stopped using rocks as money.

I have two old gold Indian head half eagles and various silver coins & bullion kept in a deposit box in case the economy truly shits the bed and I need to buy something like prescriptions or some other fairly important item. Almost all of that was inherited though, me personally I've only bought a couple ounces of silver and it's more impulse buys at pawn shops rather then a serious investment. Also I'll never sell that gold unless im in truly dire straights, it's a family heirloom at this point.

You don't have many friends huh?
There's a reason all the threads on /biz/ are about precious metals and crypto.
It's the only things of value to acquire besides land.
You can buy land with enough of all the PMs.

They have been suppressing the price of silver ever since 1964(61 years). I'm sorry you weren't around to see the whole thing unfold, but if you are smart enough to piece things together it's extremely clear what's going on. It can't last forever, and there's a very good chance that gold and silver are forcibly revalued against the next iteration of currency, whatever that may be.
>>
>>59605204
It’s retarded because you always pay above spot price and there are better options with a better rate of return than precious metals. Now if you think society is going to go to shit and we are going to have civil unrest and go back to bartering then having physical gold and silver might be useful to you, but probably not as useful as ammunition and not as easily partitioned.
>>
>>59605662
are those bars copper?
>>
>>59605854

Yeah I get that, the opportunity cost just doesn’t seem worth it though to justify holding a large position in silver. The suppression has been going on for 60 years, it could last decades longer.

Stacking is a long term game and requires meticulous focus and discipline.
Once you master the metals you can turn 1oz into 1 billion dollars worth of stuff.
>>
>>59610656
I hate most shiny rock holders but you're alright anon. Just make sure you stack some crypto too and maybe act a but less pretentious

currently only buying platinum. I pick up silver every month its under 30. gold has gotten over prices for its industrial uses. modern life doesn't happen at scale without PMs being consumed. if you're actually worried about the end of the world get food water and funz.

If you're in a position to acquire Gold consider yourself chosen by God himself.

Poor stay poor because they spend like they're rich. Rich get rich by spending like they're poor and investing.

>>59611140
>why would somebody want to keep driving an older car that has proven to be reliable and easy to fix when you can buy a brand new one for an inflated price full of spyware, gimmicks and shit nobody wants and is going to break within the first year of ownership?
A fool and his money are soon departed.
>>
>>59611405
Cool story bro. I'm still buying silver.
>>
>>59605204
It’s worth buying if you want to stash money you would otherwise never use unless it was an emergency. Like… if you’re entire crypto portfolio got liquidated and a generational buying opportunity was available, you go to the dealer and cash out your emergency metal so that you can 10x long and make it all back. If you hold it in cash, you’re more likely to spend it. Metal is the true emergency fund because it requires extra steps to spend that you would not otherwise take if you’re balls weren’t in a vice grip
>>
>>59611176
Man if someone was making or selling 99 Camry's new I'd buy 5
