Absolutely terrible decision to turn your back on the next logical evolution of currency. More convenient, reliable, and it is actually backed by the government, so unlike other crypto, it has real world value. How are we supposed to compete on the global stage in FinTech if we remove ourselves from the game.

my god this ball is going to be amazing!
wall street made bitcoin its BITCH!
of course the US fucking government would never have adopted bitcoin, hot damn!
fuck this is cathartic
have bitcoiners realized this yet?
this has been a good day

They will just call it a freedom coin or some shit.

>there's no reason for the government to create a central bank digital currency
What the fuck is he talking about. He knows damn well BTC was created by NSA and DARPA. It is THE US CBDC.
>>
>>59612278
The US CBDC wont be BTC as other countries have an impact on the price.
They will want to control 100% of it.hp2ap
>>
>>59612285
Other countries currently have an impact on the purchasing power of the USD. They own enough of the mining control and issued tokens that it's essentially already the US CBDC.
>>
>>59610769
No really it's redundant and stupid and unnecessary to digitize dollars. It doesn't even make any sense to do it when most of it is ones and zeroes already so whatever.

Money is just a permissioned network and there's no reason to change that or make it decentralized
>>
>>59613063
Crypto doesn't have any actual value because there is nothing backing it, it doesn't actually exist. CBDCs have every supposed benefit of crypto while being backed and guaranteed by the government, this gives it real world value
>>
>>59613144
Are u trolling ?You just got crypto backwards. Creating a decentralized system is way slower than a centralized system. You can run a currency system way faster and cheaper than any crypto by just hosting it on AWS. The purpose of crypto is to remove the state and politicians from your money. Any sane person will trust mathematicians and cryptographers over politicians, thats why bitcoin values so much. CBDCs are the shittest thing on earth, you have a slow system backed up by politicians that will unlimited print their shitty crypto

Algorand sisters, it's fucking over

Excellent decision from the Trump cabinet. OP is a faggot and want to be gang raped by commissars.
Bitcoin is feedom, CBDC is slavery. Feels so good to be a twitter normie. Elon Musk is based, dictatorships are for cucks. Suck it up, bitch.

Says the BTC maxi. I've never met a dumber bunch of sheep that think they're revolutionaries.
>>

Defends goverment and taxation. Thinks other people are sheep. Have you paid ur taxes yet? LMAO
>>

>Bitcoin is feedom
BAhahahahaha!
Awesome! Yes, you are "free" to be tethered to your smartphone, telecom cell network, and electrical grid, all of which are paid for by the fiat that cryptoholders think is as equally worthless as their crypto!
My god this has been amazing. Thank you, this is a wonderful way to begin what will be a rough 4 years for the economy: by watching a cult of half-educated shitwits get turned out by the long dick of Wall Street on inauguration day.
Seriously, your sacrifice will not be in vain.
>>
Shit, I misread it and thought he was talking about bitcoin
>>
((((They)))) don’t want a bunch of literal who goyims becoming financially dependent so they have to try to kill crypto

Kek I love this based post. Are you French, anon? You write like a based Frenchman.

>Any sane person will trust mathematicians and cryptographers over politicians
What planet are you from? Are you vaxxed? How many mathematicians and cryptographers do you see winning elections?
>>
>>59615258
U dumb fuck lol. We dont have to trust them, thats the whole point, they created the tools for trustless system. We trust the code, not humans. Now go give ur crypto to the democrats. Commies like you deserve to stay with fiat inflationary shit since you like so much politicians
>>
>>59615314
>they created the tools for trustless system
you don't have trust them if you understand how the tools work. The point is that people DON'T understand how the "tools" work, which is why they'd HAVE TO trust them.
These tools all function ONLY IF the grid holds up: you're not really trusting the "code": you're trusting the electrical grid, telecom network, big oil, and government regulation to still be running things well enough for your crypto-world to be able to function.
Crypto has no intrinsic value, not even a theoretical one, because it's entire existence is predicated on the particular strain of solipsism and cloaked self-interest that invalidates all utopian projects.
Why can't you acknowledge that? Honestly, person-to-person, can you verbally acknowledge that all crypto is dependent upon power plants, fossil fuels (due to scale), electrical grids, the entire computer industry (alongside rare metals mining), and all of the government regulation (including any climate-related stipulations) that occurs in conjunction?
>>
>>59615355
You have no idea what intrinsic value is. Ur logic is since goverment took control over energy system than everything is backed up by goverment. This is absolutely insane. No, if goverment disappears all infracstructure remains untouched. The only thing the state does is to rob part of the production of the private sector. The state produces nothing but you think energy companies depend on politicians hahaha. Just because ur fat mother depends on social security to live doesnt mean the world spins this way.
