I don’t get why everyone is so bullish on xrp and why it’s going up

Like literally, what changed from last year till now? What kind of development did they have?
>>
The SEC lost saying XRP is a security and their appeal is gonna be thrown out when Trumps in office in a couple days.
>>
>>59612991
I hear people saying that trump's wallet has a bunch of xrp. Could be insider trading. No idea though

>Like literally, what changed from last year till now? What kind of development did they have?
Trump is going into office with a very pro-crypto attitude, and is hiring a pro-crypto bro to lead the SEC. That means the bullshit lawsuit the SEC has been dragging out against Ripple for the past 4 years is probably going to be thrown out. All of this will also provide regulational clarity for crypto in general and will give banks more freedom to work with crypto. Beyond that, Trump has been talking to Ripple big wigs and it just came out today that he is apparently considering establishing a US crypto reserve which heavily includes US crypto projects like XRP. All very good signs for the chain.

Here’s what:
XRP is the rail of the future financial system.
The US will use XRPL as a tool to control other nations (just like USD)
The price of XRP will be very high and tokens will be scarce.

>their appeal is gonna be thrown out when Trumps in office in a couple days.
Says who? There’s no reason to believe this will happen, just like there’s no reason to believe Trump will stop Ukraine war or kick out illegal immigrants
>>
>>59613101
The only good post ITT. Unfortunately, it really just shows why XRP doesn't have much of a good reason to pump. Trump hasn't done much to indicate he is interested in incorporating XRP into a strategic reserve, at least not any more than any other crypto. This post only justifies why crypto as a whole is pumping.

You literally said nothing helpful or informative at all

In addition to being one of the few corporate entities to BTFO the SEC (who's leadership is/was in bed with the eth foundation + related parties, and on the way out due to trump's election victory), they've delivered on their federated side-chain premise with RLUSD, a usd-backed stablecoin of all things(this is why we took tether's lunch), all of which is run through and out of the XRPL with the blessing of NY's financial departments, some of the most stringent in the world. Their chaired by a bunch of ex-BIS/FED spooks.
The fundamentals/likelihood of a legal victory were always there and regularly discussed in the schizo containment threads, but everything took off very quickly over the last several months.
Lighting in a bottle kind of shit.

Sure
>That means the bullshit lawsuit the SEC has been dragging out against Ripple for the past 4 years is probably going to be thrown out.
This is speculation. The new sec lead can continue where Gensler left off
>Beyond that, Trump has been talking to Ripple big wigs
It was just a donation dinner and we don’t know if they actually talked. They most likely didn’t
>it just came out today that he is apparently considering establishing a US crypto reserve which heavily includes US crypto projects like XRP. All very good signs for the chain.
I agree
>>
>>59613183
There is no reason to believe anything. Investors are stupid and once they get a narrative they go with it until the consensus changes. Remember that one day where xrp supposedly "won" its lawsuit except it actually didn't but no one cared because people only read tweets instead of reports? Well needless to say price pumped and people buying in probably didn't give a shit it was false they just wanted to buy something going up.

Picrel is literally from today as my post mentioned.

>This is speculation. The new sec lead can continue where Gensler left off
Paul Atkins is Trump's pick to replace Gensler and he's incredibly pro-crypto. Why would he chose to continue pursuing a dumb lawsuit that the SEC has appealed several times by just rehashing the same stupid arguments that have already been thrown out every time so far? It's bad for the entire market have the SEC just continue to keep a major project under their thumb indefinitely for no real reason.
>>
>>59613218
That pic doesn’t indicate that Trump is interested though. That article is extremely vague and highly speculative
>>
>>59613246
If that is the case then why did Gensler appeal the case? Just because he is petty and want to fuck with ripple? That’s not how it works.
>bad for crypto in general
Bad for ripple maybe
>>
>>59613183
Trump was gonna fire Gary on day one, so Gary put in his resignation already. Hes being replaced by someone that already said the case should be thrown out of court.

It's totally fair to be skeptical because every article about this just cites "sources familiar with the matter." But the original question was "why is the coin pumping so much," not "this is definitely what's happening." It does make me bullish for the other coins mentioned since these "sources" appear to be Bitcoin maxxies seething about it rather than XRP fanboys or whatever.
>>59613201
>It was just a donation dinner and we don’t know if they actually talked.
This wasn't the first time he interacted with Ripple. During his first term he pardoned people involved with them.
>>59613260
>If that is the case then why did Gensler appeal the case? Just because he is petty and want to fuck with ripple?
Literally yes lol. Gensler is a petty kike and that's the only reason the lawsuit has gone on for as long as it has. He's literally waited until the last day before the deadline to file an appeal every single time including the latest appeal they filed yesterday.
>Bad for ripple maybe
Can you genuinely not see why the SEC being able to point to any project and saying "this is an unregistered security" while keeping them occupied with pointless legal battles for years wouldn't scare people away from investing?
>>
>>59613284
I didnt save a link but there is a video of him saying the case should be thrown out.
>>
>>59613420
If I recall, he didn't literally come out and say it "should" be thrown out. But he did say that the SEC chair (Gensler was incoming at the time) would have the power to do so if they wanted. Here's some sauce on what I believe you're referring to:

He is also a boardmember at a Ripple partner/investee (Securitize) which praises XRP and Ripple.

The Regime that was hired by JP Morgan Bank to destroy Ripple Labs has lost its bid for re-election. Bank of America is JP Morgan’s number one competitor and was using XRP internally prior to the SEC Lawsuit. They are using it again now that Gensler is gone and XRP has legal clarity as a non-security, regardless of SEC Appeal. JP Morgan basically bribed Elizabeth Warren, Bill Hinman, Jay Clayton and Gary Gensler to indirectly attack their competitor.

Always ask yourself “Qui Bono?”
>>
>>59613071
That’s why XRP is looking bullish. I took profits on some of my balance and bought NATIX and NC. DePIN shouldn’t be ignored anon.

Redditors believe it's going to $10,000. There's nothing of substance there and things will end poorly for nearly all of them. But for the moment they are riding high.
