Why isn't there coins pegged to indexes like S&P500 or others?

I'm not smart but it honestly doesn't sound like a bad idea to me, it could be like USDC, right?

It could start at $1 or something and then go up or down like regular stocks, idk, I'll leave to the experts to figure it out

Is this a dumb idea? Am I dumb? Or have I reached superhuman intelligence by using 100% of my brain?
