"Gacha"Why isn't there a crypto coin which is used exclusively for a shitty anime gacha game where you buy rare NFT pics of anime girls? Like zenless zenloss zero.
>>59620025I'd gacha your little sister, if you know what I mean.
cuz nfts are dead I guess?
>>59620025It sounds like a fun idea. I've been thinking about it. The reason it doesn't exist is that having your gacha currency be speculative is "too fun and gamey" for the oriental game devs. They can't actually create proper, novel and deep game mechanics like westerners can. Play some modern euro board games; don't look at modern AAA vidya. Orientals are excellent artisans with their anime girls, but mechanically their games just copy and repeat 30+ year old ideas. Every jrpg is just wizardry with minor updates. Fire Emblem is fun but it's the same idea for 30+ years. Orientals can't conceptualize why it would be funny if your game currencies were speculative. And it would be really funny. Lot of stuff in their games are very monotonous grind. Speculation and in-game markets would add incredibly deep and interesting game aspects.
This kinda stuff was tried in 2021-22. Obviously you need a playerbase to buy your junk, though.
>>59622369Fire Emblem is actually pretty good about mixing up their mechanics to the point where it's a bit of a fault. They should have never moved past the fates pair up system
