Why can't I stop spending money?
you're telling me. i tried not to buy anything over the course of the holiday. but i ended up spending $200 on a fucking anime figurine.
>>59646032and here's the reason i did it. dat ass.
I bought devil may cry 1, 2, and 3, the original medal of honor on ps1, fatal frame, and gitaroo man all complete in box with 5% of my trump gains today :)
>>59646045how do people spend money on console shit you can easily just emulate.
>>59646039WAHAAAAAA
>>59646058I really don't care for emulation, I like owning physical things. I like the art, the manuals, the way the case looks, the way it looks on my shelves, I enjoy playing the games on my CRT with an actual controller, in a comfy chair, I also like that I can't access the internet and I'm fully immersed in my game, among many other reasons. Also they're collectible (although I doubt dmc and medal of honor will increase much in value over time but the other two most certainly will). I've also never met an emunigger that finishes the vast majority of the games they play because they have constant decision paralysis or new shiny object syndrome
>>59646101I like physical ownership, too. but i don't like having to deal with a bunch of consoles, cords, and controllers. i'm less likely to play a game if i have to go through my closet to fish out a bunch of shit than just double clicking an Icon and playing a game on a whim. I also stopped video game collecting after the video game market became pozzed as shit. it used to be an honest hobby. you could buy an old gem on Ebay that was still sealed. now people keep sending their shit through the "Video Game Grading Company" and jacking up the price tenfold. there's also a lot of fake sealed games out there.I still Cherish my PanasonicQ and my other gamecube shit (good luck getting one now that everyone knows what they are). i also have one of the last samsung CRT TVs that was manufactured that i bought brand new.
>>59646039looks like a prize figure
>>59646032>>59646039are you the guy from the pan piano thread
most of you guys have immensely embarassing faggoty hobbies but take comfort in the fact that at least they are extremely cheap compared to any outdoor hobby or god forbid if you liked cars.
>>59646101I stopped coomlecting after I bought flashcarts. To be honest, the cart and manuals played a much smaller part than I thought it did. Sitting down with a CRT and original hardware/controller is what does it for me.
>>59646356Shitcoin gambling is the most expensive hobby there is.
