I'd rather have 100k a year forever. My reasoning is that while 1 million right now would be better when you account for inflation, it's much safer for me to have the 100k per year than to to continue risking the money on shitcoins. I just want to be able to comfortably enjoy life year after year and 100k is enough to not go way over my head.
100k was my first instinct but if I think more about it, if I put 900,000 in ETF I suddenly get ~10% annual return compounding which within 20 years will surpass the 100k annually
