I am talking about investing in assets that can actually be determined to go up or down. Think about the stock market. If a company does well and outperforms their expected earnings, the stock price will most likely go up. If it underperforms, the stock price falls. Real estate, if a country is flourishing and more people enter than leave, the property value will most likely go up.

Now think about crypto. Why would a coin go up or down? There is no way to know, as they are purely speculative. No amount of financial plotting will help you determine the price in the future. Hell, I would even say penny stocks were a better investment, as those assets actually had something to go off of (earnings report, financial statements, industry analysis)
