>Working from home is creating a generation who are "not doing proper work", the former boss of Marks and Spencer and Asda has warned.

Do you agree? Are WFHfags lazy?
>>
WFH puts less people on the roads and make our transportation system far more efficient, if they do the work who cares where they do it
>>
>>59657589
one foot in the grave looking motherfucker
>>
I'm lazy, and so what?
>>
>>59657589
>you can do the same tasks at home you do in the office
>most people have bullshit jobs
>therefore, "proper work" is about subjugation to your masters in person
>>
>>59657589
>Noooo you cant just work from home and spend time with your family and being in the comfort of your own home
>you have to spend the majority of the day at the office or driving to and from the office
>wh...why? J...just because
>>
>>59657589
AI+Robotics will do the work, start distributing the UBI already and let the boomers die, problem solved. Being lazy or "doing work" is irrelevant at this point.
>>
>>59657589
>can do your work while sitting at home
Why can't an Indian do it from India for a fraction of the price?
>>
>>59657743
Honestly if the job can be done by a sub 80 IQ indian then it might as well just be automated anyway
>>
>>59657682
For every roastie filming their day on TikTok you had 100 people on /g/ bragging about how little work they could get away with
>>
>>59657743
>why can’t an 80 iq goblin do the work of a 115 iq human
it are mystery!
>>
>>59657851
>implying your spreadsheet monkey work can't be done by Harbinder in Calcutta
>>
>>59657800
people don't work in the office either they just look busy and flirt with their married coworkers
>>
>>59657743
Surely not because Indian people are clinically retarded
>>
>>59657589
Productive people need to work from home. If I go to the office, I won't work, I'll talk to other people, and watch YT videos, lol.
>>
>>59657743
Legislation forbid, you can only work for the USA no matter where you are using H1B visa, and most of the times, they will only issue this visa if you work at the office, if it's a WFH position and they need a foreigner, they will get at Europe or South America, India would literally be the last place they would try to find someone, unless the hiring team is full of jeets, which happens a lot, lol.
>>
Im sure ceo and hr managers are sweating in the work sheds along with the engineers huh?
>>
>>59657612
This. Less office space saves companies money as well.
>>
>>59658247
>Legislation forbid, you can only work for the USA no matter where you are using H1B visa
That's not true, you can be hired as a 1099 contractor globally. H1Bs are for W2s. Outsourcing already existed before covid lol.
>>
>>59657589
>WFH shown to be more productive, better quality and puts less strain on public services
OY VEY! WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE OFFICE REAL ESTATE MARKET?! WHAT ABOUT THE USELESS MIDDLE MANAGERS WHO DO NOTHING EXCEPT PULL PEOPLE AWAY OR DISTRACT EMPLOYEES IN ORDER TO MAKE THEMSELVES LOOK IMPORTANT?!
>>
>>59657700
>AI+Robotics will do the work
they can't even get self driving cars working but *soon* we'll have *robots* that can refit your kitchen and mow your lawn
fuck out of here, faggot. go and live in muh space
>>
>>59657589
No. WFH and in person workers aren’t significantly different, except WFH positions are more likely to be higher paying, meaning less work.
>>
>>59657589
Back in the cage wagies
>>
>>59657589
I guarantee that this joker has not done any "proper work" and is shitting his pants becuase the real estate scam and meal deal index is collapsing.
>>
WFH is done. Trump will finish it off for federal workers and places like Amazon have killed it as well. You can't stop what's coming.

>boomer who refuses to hire half the under-40 workforce and the ones he does hire are paid 1/3 what he was paid at the same age says you need to suffer because he suffered.

He probably already knows, but people waste stupid amounts of time in the office as well. Every single time I've been in the office I've been distracted at some point by some unavoidable bullshit .
This is about subjugation and making your life as attached to the whims of the corporation as possible
>>
>>59657589
My jewdar is tingling with this guy. Why?
>>
>>59660473
It was a good scam while it lasted. As long as you spent your slacking off time on something productive and not just video games you're in a good spot.
>>
>>59657682
It's basically rich people saying that they should be the only ones that have high paying bullshit jobs where they do nothing.
>>
>>59657589
Office work:
>2 hours spent on commute
>normies won't stop talking about stupid shit in the open space
>can't focus at all
>have to pretend I'm working if I have nothing to do
>dozens of distracting young hotties everywhere
WFH:
>no commute
>quiet
>able to focus
>can take a nap after lunch if tired
>time for hobbies if there's downtime

Retarded boomers must see their wageslaves working for some reason
>>
>>59657589
At home i am 200% more productive. The job that took me 8h in the office with chatting, coffee breaks etc (SEM specialist), at home i do in 2-3h, and then i just play videogames, watch netflix, and cook proper meals, so i don't have to waste time after work. It's the best time of my life. Thank you covid. And the best thing is that my bosses saw that "productivity is as always" so they got rid od 2/3 office space, so now even if they wanted we don't have a space to go back. I hope i'll work here until retirement.
Again, thanks Covid <3

This is why my job won't go away to a remote jeet or robot/AI. I'm partial wfh in a physical IT job. We're decades away from robots driving to sites hours away, tracking down cables, replacing servers and explaining to a geriatric boomers how to do something simple on their computer without giving them gobbledygook like pic rel.
>>
>>59660473
My employer is 1500 miles away from me and I make them more money than just about anyone at the company. So no, maybe this is cope if you’re a fedbot or an unskilled retard.
>>
I go to work to get away from home. I’m not even joking. Other than gardening, I don’t have hobbies and I have almost zero interest in anything. I’ve been severely depressed for years and I think the damage is done at this point. Going to work takes my mind off things
>>
>>59657589
Anti-WFH is all just seething property developers who got crushed by corporate office space vacancies. They're just rentseeking leeches
>>
>>59664637

>>
>>59657800
>OMFG HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT THE TIKTOK PEOPLE ARE DOING!!? THIS IS WHY REMOTE WORK IS BAD
Shut the fuck up you god damn swine
>>
Case by case basis. Some roles/employees need in person for the collaboration and the structure, others are fine wfh. I do think in person is generally more productive overall, but there's also a lot of waste associated with commute/real estate/meetings and distractions.

I work from home since 2017 and I totally agree. When I go to coworking spaces, I can actually focus and significantly increase my productivity. Home is a place of rest, not work. The more time you spend at home, the less you achieve in life
>>
>>59657589
And they don’t wanna work for slave wages kek, bastards. I’d rather look for next trump on auradex then slave away at his pizza parties
>>
>>59658247
not true, the call center I worked at prior to my current job hired jeets to do data entry. they were in Bangladesh and they were horrible. broken english in teams chats, all the data entry was constantly fucked up, and they kept hiring more of them. they also hired mexicans for that too, who were only slightly better.
>>
>>59664579
>>dozens of distracting young hotties everywhere
I do miss that part of working in-office. Since I can pass as a normie, I got to sit with the "mean girls" of my office who made fun of the sperg incel guy who worked there and the chubby asian chick who pretended to have cancer.
>>
>>59657589
