Ethereum foundation created a security risk to their users by letting vitalik make a pointless second smart contract language out of ego named vyper.

None of the infa to scan for honeypots/blacklists/etc works on the bytecode level, the majority of it parses only for solidity.

Ethereums foundations leadership is legitimately fucking bad. This is coming from a guy who's still waiting to offload a few hundred.

Vitalik needs to go just resign and let someone else handle everything that is less fueled by ego and is more pragmatic. This is a joke right now.

Ironically enough the only evm esque chain that doesn't feature this bug is tvm, because they never ported a compiler for the inefficient, useless language that is vyper

This isn't like a breaking security risk, but realistically, if a bad actor decided to spend alot of time creating Vyper language contracts that none of the scanning infrastructure even checks for, it would probably lead to alot of causlities in every evm that has ported the shitty language

That said, tether used vyper, and a few other protocols, but seriously that's about it.

I don't know why I'm making this thread, I'm too lazy to do anything personally but just saying, the actual good solidity devs are jumping ship. Ethereum needs new leadership, it's a good protocol with a really stupid ego driven front man.

Who can be this front man?
