Old economy slow but use real money, need fast for new stuff
Modern economy fast but no real money, fast = new stuff but no real money = bad for social order
Future economy* fast but WITH real money = all good of old + all good of modern

*we're in modern and going to future will require a "bridge" into it, bridge must be like future stuff but inject itself into modern stuff at the most basic levels I'm order to full move into future economy

Simple as.

The best part about them, is you just know that if they stop being retarded long enough to buy a bag, that they'll panic sell at 8 dollars and never look back. They simply weren't meant to make it, no matter what we say or don't say to them.
>>
>>59669918
XRP will be used by banks to transfer money between banks and between different currencies.
It eliminates the need for counter party risk.

It's network, the XRPL (XRP Ledger) is incredibly stable, and well tested.

XRP completes all transactions in 3 to 5 seconds.
This is incredibly fast.
Far faster than a wire transfer, ACH transfer, or credit car transaction.

It costs 0.00001 XRP to complete a transaction; regardless of the size.
This is far cheaper than any wire transfer, ACH transfer, or credit card transaction.
This fee can also be reduced even further, when XRP goes up in price.

XRP uses an incredibly small amount of electricity.
An XRP transaction uses than electricity than a credit card transaction, regardless of the size.
So it's very "green."

All of this makes XRP very attractive to banks.
Incorporating XRP into their banking system, as a means of transferring money, will save them a lot of money.
The only reason they haven't done so until now, is due to a hostile SEC.
The lawsuit against Ripple is about to be dropped or settled with the SEC.
The SEC also has a rule called SAB 121, which stipulates that any bank holding crypto must treat it as a debt on their accounting books.
Which is absurd; since it's an asset.
Once Trump's nominee for the new SEC Chairman is confirmed, he will end SAB 121, and banks will be able to hold crypto, like XRP, without it being a negative on their accounting books.

Basically, banks are going to be buying a shit ton of XRP so that they can use it in their day to day business.
All of this buying and demand, will dramatically raise the price of XRP.

The thing I'm most concerned about is the fact that XRPL has almost halted a number of times when traffic does increase. Guys like Wietse always say there isn't enough high quality infrastructure supporting the XRPL, and this is mainly because there is no actual incentive.
So if a big customer like BoA comes online and uses the public version of XRPL, surely the current infrastructure will also collapse.

When David was asked about this, he essentially said the XRPL tends to inevitably end up with having enough infrastructure that it needs at any one point in time.
So, will BoA simultaneously add nodes and validators to the network? Or will they be using private ledgers?
>>
>>59670012
generally speaking when uses cases have gone live the nodes have been built to support it by those interested, and there is no incentive to make them otherwise. it's kind of attractive to (((them))) how they will likely end up "owning" a lot of the infrastructure as well.

>>
>>59670012
I believe Davids point is that if BoA and other major banks plan on buying a lot of XRP, they will also spend the few thousands to spin up a node and validator, to protect the system they will be reliant on.
>>
>>59670012
I've always seen banks running validators and nodes as an inevitable step,
once legal clarity happens.
It's in the banks own interests to become validators.
And they'll have top of the line equipment.

If you look at the ownership of the largest banks and companies, they all own each other.
The major banks running validators would be an extension of that practice.

Hi! You just bragged about buying near the ATH. We veterans here at /xsg/ would like to remind you that this is a TERRIBLE idea! Whenever XRP's price goes on a huge run-up, it ALWAYS falls back down to its lowest support (in this case, 13 cents). Please consider taking some of your money off the table and wait for the inevitable crash, or even better, rotate that capital into the chosen coin, xrb. Hope this helped!

See here Sonny, this is how it works. We packed our bags at .20-40 cents as we did the research and read the Whitepapers back in 2020-2021 or even earlier. Now our bags are up over 300+%. Now, the Stinkies, Normies and Wagon-Riders all hop on in and pump them even further. Normie adoption is critical; gotta reduce the supply at the exchanges so the low liquidity will drive up prices. Onwards and upwards, on the backs of the New Baggies.

There's something you baggies need to understand.

There are not Indians on /biz. You are arguing with people in your own country and Europe. Indians are too busy making major money from meme narratives and AI agents to bother with your petty 1.2x gain EoY shitcoins.

The harsh truth is that you would be better off if there WERE indians here giving you sound advice, and really, you would be better off if you were just Indian yourself. And you know that. Indians were here before any of us, and they will be here after we're gone, in every country in the world. The world has a karmic debt to india, and it must be paid. The best we can do is follow their example, and actually ideally just obey their commands. Maybe then we white cucks will be blessed to have indian grandchildren instead of going extinct.

Sometimes I worry that banks and stuff will start using XRP but the price won't change cause they'll use private ledgers and stuff.

We are already very big with SBI in Japan, BoA and other partnerships, the third biggest coin in market cap, but I was expecting the price to be higher by now with all the news, the Trump winning, Garynigger stepping out from SEC, regulations, XRP ETF, etc, but we haven't moved that much

We pumped to $3 out of nowhere and that's where we are so far

Anon, most of the genes associated with intelligence are tied to the X chromosome. Men make better use of intelligence genes, but women act as reservoirs for them, so the whole species doesn't brain drain when the men go off and die in war or while hunting. (This might also be related to why women don't seem to mind stupid men in their mate selection, since their double X chromosomes are a hedge.)

tl;dr it's much worse for offspring to have a stupid mother than it is to have a stupid father. Don't cheap out on your wife selection.

>Sometimes I worry that banks and stuff will start using XRP but the price won't change cause they'll use private ledgers and stuff.

You don't understand supply and demand, anon. There's a limited number of XRP tokens on the market, and all of them are minted, meaning Chinese miners cannot simply mine more. If banks start buying the amounts they need, even if it's on a private ledger, that's still millions of dollars off the market.

You bought in at $0.30, and you saw it make a 10x in 90 days. I bought in at $1 and saw a 3x, so you're already doing better than me.

Relax. The ETFs haven't been made. Trump is just sweeping out the previous regime. Once that's done (probably around May, which coincidentally is about when the ETFs will be made), he'll probably look at setting, dare I say, The Standard.

It's okay. We will all make it.

Man I'm hoping DOGE gets a gigapoomp to at least $1 soon. That's 11k I could put into XRP. If $2, even more. Though I worry I'll be priced out by that point if XRP has a gigapoomp too rather than a gradual percentage increase. Only thing left to do is to keep buying and holding.

The transactions on the private ledgers still burn XRP so the deflationary nature will always be working in prices’ favor.

Unless, they can create and issue private XRP inside their Private Ledger, like XRP-BoA for the BoA Ledger and XRP-SBI for the SBI Ledger. For all I know Schwartz can fly in with a laptop and copy/paste a whole Private XRP Ecosystem onto a Banks Central Server. That would suck.

Yes, I've heard David saying that the nature of XRPL allow banks to run their own independent private ledger, with their own nodes, that interconnects banks, having their own supply of coins, a totally separated network from the public one, where we have our coins, so, as far as I could understand, the XRP may have a value of $1000 on their network and $3 in our network since they have their own supply and they aren't connected at all

Recently we had an episode where the XRPL suffered a little bit with public nodes not being able to reach an agreement as expected. Looks like this is due to our current public nodes not having the expected capacity/quality. Big players could either improve the public network by adding public nodes owned by them or they could simply create their own network with their nodes, leaving us out of the game

The last option seems more plausible to me, less congested, faster and exclusive to them

I hope I'm wrong
>>
>>59672403
>For all I know Schwartz can fly in with a laptop and copy/paste a whole Private XRP Ecosystem onto a Banks Central Server.

Funny you should mention Schwartz. He's said in an interview this isn't true and double pricing would make no sense.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDTb-29hh2k (I don't know the timestamp)

There is indeed be a private ledger (https://ripple.com/insights/ripple-pilots-a-private-ledger-for-central-banks-launching-cbdcs/), but those tokens wouldn't be XRP. XRP is intended as the bridge between those kinds of tokens.

Thanks anon, I think my faith has been restored

Even though I watched the video and it got myself thinking, I know that gold cannot be sold here for a price and there for another price cause you'll always try to sell it to who pays more but, that's because you can, right?

You can only do that because the physical gold can be traded anywhere on this earth. When you have private XRP ledgers, the XRP is stuck in a ledger with their own supply, not allowing you to transfer XRP from one network to another. So, even if XRP is $1000 in a private ledger and $3 in the public ledger, you would never be able to sell your XRP for $3 because you'll never be able to access the private ledger with your funds, they have their own supply, its almost like a different token on the same network, right?

But idk, I'm not that smart, I guess I'll trust David on this one, I'm probably missing something here

then it's not XRP. you're an absolute midwit. you're inventing ideas to fud yourself instead of actually understanding the technology. There is literally no interest whatsoever for Ripple to implement such things even if they could convince people smarter than you that it makes sense. All that does is devalue the token they hold the massive supply of. Does that seem like a sound business plan? Suppress what makes up the majority of your net worth forever? Just to sideline like 12 autists on 4chan? Walled Gardens are a problem that Ripple solves, not creates, because a walled garden is ultimately useless. Banks cannot use walled gardens as their only crypto solutions because that means they can only interact with themselves, which is near useless.
>>

This.
My bag may be a bit larger but those years were awful. Also, there was no guarantee that everything would go fine especially with all the delays and bullshit from the sec all aimed to try and gut XRP and claiming the token itself was a security and so on. We’re still waiting to see what happens with the sec’s shit and in another timeline we could have been waiting even more years as it goes through all the way to the Supreme Court.

This has been proven to be false. Smart men aquire resources which then attract attractive women. This leads to a net gain in looks in the children. If the children are smart the cycle continues, and it has. The entire basis of the halo effect (attractive people being perceived smarter and more capable) is a direct result of men being the primary contributor to the child's intelligence and then marrying attractive women.

when are we going to address the fact that the xrpl is going to have serious scalability problems if even small level adoption occurs
1,500TPS does not cut it for 2025 standards

I got curious and checked Coin Market Cap. There's like 3 or 4 coins with that ticker, and they're less than $100 million in market cap. I think that anon just can't be bothered to buy an ad.

>“This undertaking will take time, patience, and much hard work. It will succeed only if the Task Force has input from a wide range of investors, industry participants, academics, and other interested parties. We look forward to working hand-in-hand with the public to foster a regulatory environment that protects investors, facilitates capital formation, fosters market integrity, and supports innovation,” stated Commissioner Peirce.

Holy shit, four more years?

>Visa handles 1,700 transactions per second. What's the issue?
Wrong. Visa can handle 65,000+ plus per second due to its centralization and delayed settlement
the XRPL is offering 1,500TPS with 3-4s confirmation. It's a different use case

Folks, lemme tell you, I had a meeting with these brilliant crypto guys, they're running this coin, they call it "Ex-Rip" or something like that, "Ex-Rip", right? right??

Has anyone heard of it? No?

These are young guys, athletes, but they're computer people, you know. I mean - are video games in the Olympics, folks? *crowd laughs* I don't know, I don't know... They're professionals, believe me.

You wouldn't guess it though, folks, wouldn't know from looking at them, especially not from a distance.

But let me tell you, there's a lotta money out there! A lot.

And, I listened, but you know me, I do things my way. So I said to myself, "Forget 'Ex-Rip', I'll make my own." And let me tell you, it's doing better than their "Ex-Rip".

It's fantastic, it's tremendous, I hear you all like it a lot? People are telling me this.

Anyway thank you buying the Trumpcoin, it's making America great again, it really, really is, and I mean that. I do.

Thank you.

It’s hard for me to justify buying either at this price compared to my entry. If I had money to burn atm, I’d buy FLR (Flare).

Uphold, plus you get 5% interest on the RLUSD. This is financial advice.

How exactly will this SEC thing that's going to happen tomorrow affect XRP? This is a good thing, I assume?

The only articles I can find are AI-generated shit.
