The average normie knows literally nothing about chemistry. I don't imagine the average trader is that much better. Institutions are better maybe, but how many of them are going hard in the paint on biotech options?

Tech can be sound and still fail, I think you'll always face some great risk trading biotech. Without somehow knowing their most recent experiment outcomes it could either run up or go bankrupt and bottom out.

Have you ever read an annual report? They're full of fluff language written by CPAs to appease the SEC, the only useful section in those 100 pages is the detailed financial data.

I dropped out of a chemistry degree myself. It was comfy, I still miss the toxic smells of my childhood.
