How will the interview process at FAGMAN companies change now that the leetcode frat hazing has been broken by AI cheat tools?
>>60114754No hiring, until only 100 profiteering leeches are left.
>>60114798You think FAGMAN companies will stop hiring? That would destroy them.
>>60114754They're obviously going to have you come down to office and to the code on an offline restricted computer
>>60114754there will be no onboarding at FAGMAN for a while bestie, Chinese century started finally
>>60114983No, it will make their stock go up. People are a liability now.
>>60114754lol assuming anyone at biz even works here. get real dude this site it full of burn out losers, neets, etc.if anyone from biz does work there its likely a low lv role
>>60114754there's no going back. the main problem with the swe interview process are the type of fucking losers that become code monkeys in the first place. they got nothing better to do than to practice taking it in the ass with ever increasing interview hurdles. the saturation of jeets has made this 10x worse
>>60115293what chinese fagman-like jobs should i apply to
>>60114754It's pretty darn obvious when something is cheating.>candidate immediately starts typing the most optimal solution>ignores the preexisting formatting and creates a sub-function for no reason>ask them to explain their thought process>panics and exits the zoomThis actually happened
>>60114983Employee growth was a signal of strength before the market realized that AI can easily replace programmers. Now it's the opposite. Companies that trim the unnecessary fat will be rewarded by the market while the ones that hang on to all the dead weight will be punished
>>60118060>AI can easily replace programmersGetting closer but it can't yet.
>>60117971There is always a need for trade workers. Learn plumbing or learn to be a groundsmen for a tree climber. Good hard work that pays bready good. Unless you are enthralled with tech and like coding, these fagman jobs will steal your soul. Don't work in retail, stores already hate you, but everyone needs a plumber.
>>60118731This. It's actually not very good and only delivers good code when prompted well. It can't come by itself, sans super computer clusters that were designed for coding abstractly.
>>60118748>but everyone needs a plumber.that's just not true at all. There's plumbing tutorials on youtube. you can figure it out
>>60118731>>60118753Obviously not by itself. But one good engineer using AI as a tool can replace a hundred mediocre engineers. The fat will be trimmed
>>60118754But are you really going to? You going to figure it out all day or maybe weeks, because the water damage caused the flange to fail, now you have raw sewage seeping into the subfloor? You gonna crawl under your house( if you have one) and repair a line that a tree root punctured? No, probably not. Most people can't even figure out how to replace a sink faucet and they don't want to deal with it. You don't need a toilet just like you don't need a computer, but when push comes to shove, toilets are more of a necessity.
>>60118803Yes, agreed.
>>60117971Tencent
>>60114754Don’t care, I am a product manager, I don’t code.
