Hardcore buy pressure from hedges. Cathy Wood specifically is buying. The buy pressure is a constant rate so when volumes dip bitcoins price rises. Then when retail/etfs start trading it drops again.

So what if Larry fink gave the world a hint by telling people digital assets like btc may be a safe haven to the macro environment. What if btc actually ends up becoming the new global reserve currency? If all nations including the US start going off of BTC we would shoot way past golds market cap right? Is Michael saylors meme right that $200T marketcap btc is actually possible?

the whole world loves bitcoin. not american companies.

Yeah but only cryptos that made a shitton of money were American cryptos. European based ones like icp did shit. Hbar was basically dead and got a last minute 5-6x because of Trump. The. Solona had at least 10 shitcoins going to $1 bil+ market cap.
How much have European, Chinese, or any other nations coins made during this run? All the capital based on the US for the majority of the world.

Do you remember back in early 2023 when Credit Suisse, Silicon Valley Bank and a bunch of other banks were collapsing left and right? Do you remember what happened to the price of Bitcoin as that situation was unfolding and people thought the ripple effects could take down the whole economy?

Bitcoin pumped. Because Bitcoin, just like a gold, is largely a hedge against systemic risk

the sentiment towards crypto has been a negative one for years at this point. the "scene" had an injection of interest in the form of memecoins but that lasted little thanks to influencers, Trump and celebrities jumping back into the sank ship one more time to shill garbage to troglodytes with 0 attention spam that forgot about the NFT craze long ago only to get scammed again. today, my $buttcoin has made me more money than most alts have in months, yes, but the point is, crypto is seen in a negative light once more. specially with all the crypto celebs on twitter (biggest concentration of crypto related discussion besides this shitty board) throwing in the towel (for a while) thanks to the absolute state of the market(s) at the moment.
