>March jobs numbers surpass all expectations

TDS SISTAS... OUR RESPONSE?
>>

those numbers report on the prior month. tariffs went into effect 2 days ago. also most of the jobs are probably bullshit $11/hour part time jobs.

>those numbers report on the prior month. tariffs went into effect 2 days ago.
Tariffs will literally make jobs grow even faster, from now on Americans will only buy goods manufactured in America, and it means there will be a huge growth in employment.

Whooooo hooooo! McDonalds opened up a new store at $15/hr! Cool!
>>
where? who's hiring? I can't find them. only indian scammers posing as recruiters that will happily take all your personal information.
>>
>>60125942
higher employment is bearish because it reduces the chance of rate cuts. not that it matters, since tariffs have reduced the chance to negative to the point that the Fed might have to hike instead.
>>

>from now on Americans will only buy goods manufactured in America
Trade deficits will continue no matter what tariff levels are, as long as the USD remains a major reserve currency and the US keeps partially financing its large budget deficits by borrowing from foreign creditors. Although, it's conceivable that the USD will not remain a major reserve currency for much longer.

>Tariffs will literally make jobs grow even faster
Well, it might. On one hand, the economic disruption from the tariffs will cause a negative demand shock that could cause mass layoffs. On the other hand, a lot of supply chains will need to be rebuilt at home which will require labor. However, in either case, average wages will be a lot lower, because average productivity levels will be a lot lower. Making Nike shoes is not a high productivity job
>>
Yeah that's cool and all but have you checked the price?
MIGAtards are as retarded as stupid LINKies HAHAHAHA nice fundamentals bro

There's no recession coming up. The stock market is not the economy. You are delusional
>>
>>60126248
There's no recession, and there's literally 0% chance of it happening under President Trump. He's a businessman, he knows how to make deals. Stop being so depressed, you're going to miss out on so many opportunities if you keep trusting the legacy media and their lies.

How are you this stupid?
The entire American economy is built on American companies using cheap labor in Asian countries to manufacture their products for more competitive prices.
What do you think happens to Apple workers in America when tarrifs on China make iPhones cost thousands of dollars more to produce? Who will have the money to buy Apple products when they cost so much more?
Who will have money to buy Nike shoes made in China? What will happen to American Nike workers?
One thing will happen - American workers will be laid off, that's called a RECESSION!
>>
>>60126285
>>60126296
meanwhile in the real world there are mass layoffs already happening
>>
>>60126384
Where, in Canada and Europe? Not in America. I don't give a single flying fuck about europoors or Canadians, unless Canada becomes our 51 state, which will happen sooner, whether they like it or not.
>>
>>60126285
There are already real world effects and the tariffs aren't even here yet.
>>
>>60126475
Yes in America you fucking retard. And only here.

Mexico and Canada are idling, but the US is outright layoffs.

The businessman that lost money running casinos and squandered his dad’s real estate empire and ended up as a reality TV actor?
>>
>>60126384
Massive layoffs happening since 2020. First it was the coof and then AI and robots are making lots of people unemployed. Goldman Sachs laid off over 20% of its employees in the last couple years, even though they have record profits. They are no longer necessary because AI makes everything much more efficient

This is in no way an indicator of an impending recession.
>>
>>60126346
Yawn... this is the same argument you faggots used when oil went negative and you were saying us oil companies were done.
I bought heavily and made 782%.
What you don't understand is that economics is an extention of the study of life, it is not a purely mathematical field.
And life does not just go away; it struggles to survive.
>>
>>60125942
There's no reason to believe numbers coming out of this administration.
