Euroanons, best way toll sell silver? Should I just eat the VAT and sell it to PM Traders, or try to sell private persons? But with ebay I still have at least 10% loss.

How much 1oz silver and gold do you anons get at your local sellers?
My local is charging 40$ and 3400$ also he said he is running out of silver which is concerning.

Hold the line fellow metalcucks, both gold and silver always drop hard during crashes when panicked normies sell off, then we shoot back up

Hard pass. I was in Chicago 2 weeks ago and bought from an LCS in the Loop area (expensive part of city)... Bought 10 Britannias at $3 above spot and even scooped up 2 1984 Libertads for $40 each. Better off buying online at the prices you list.

you have to pay VAT on silver, but if you sell it you can't get it back from traders as they only pay the actual prices without VAT.
But you could sell it to private persons. That way you can ask for a price close to the usual price including vat.

the real silver squeeze is happening now kek. It's reassuring to see the majority of stackers are smart enough to buy during the dip, rather than being FOMO zombie like most shitcoiners.
This is the main difference between digital vs physical : we just know it when we get a good deal. While for digicrap (either it be stocks or crypto), since there is no reference point and no intrinsic value, it's just a lottery ticket.

>>60128858
Yes. eBay is a hidden gem if you know what you're doing. I have purchased stuff from Apmex and Scottsdale Mint via eBay that was CHEAPER than what was listed on their own websites, using a credit card on top of that. My guess is they don't always update their prices on eBay, so you can catch better deals (sometimes). Only ever had 1 silver coin stolen, was probably USPS though. Also eBay ships really fast, usually same day. This is unheard of with virtually any other website, except maybe Apmex.

silver is the scam that keeps you from buying gold.

you got tricked into buying a metal that tarnishes over time, are you fucking retarded ? who the fuck does that ?

if you're gonna marry a pet rock, at least get you a perfect pet rock that doesn't tarnish

platinum holding relatively well here.

Silver: Tarnishes when it reacts with sulfur in the air, forming silver sulfide, which shows up as a dark layer.

Gold: Doesn’t tarnish (pure gold).

Platinum: Doesn’t tarnish.

I'm pulling out of stacking Silver for at least a few months. It's tough to stomach this much volatility whilst Gold remains valiantly at it's ATHs. Silver keeps on with this schizophrenic nonsense and nobody in the Silver stacking space have solid explanations as for why?

It's not an exaggeration, but depends where you live.

I live on a rich former placer in Colorado. I can pan a gram or two per day, with most of that time spent shoveling and screening. The actual panning part is fast and easy.

problem is it's a lot of physical labor for less than the local starting wage.

>I was never on r3ddit
Depressing if true.
>>
>>60132523
If you're interested in making money doing it you'll need a good short handled shovel, a couple 5g buckets, and a 3/8" screen that fits the top of the buckets.

then you need to practice speed panning by dropping 5 small fishing sinkers in a pan full of dirt and panning it as fast as you can until you can clear 2 pans in a minute without losing a single sinker

with that setup you can process enough gold in a day to pay. You'll just pan down to concentrates, and dump the cons in a clean bucket. Then take all your cons home from the day and either treat with mercury or use magnets and a pan to separate the gold by hand.

if you don't get gud your results will never be even half a gram a day though. You have to work pretty fast to get enough gold to make it pay.
>>
>>60132594
Thanks fren. Obviously my highway salute isn't aimed at you lol
My father gave it to me when he got a better 1911. He's also going to sell me a West German P228 when I want to buy it, but he's based and knows stacking silver is a priority for now.
>>
>>60132523
So anyways it's possible to shovel, screen, and pan a ton or two of dirt a day and get $100-$200 in gold, but it's not fun for most people. It's hard work, nonstop, for 10 hours a day, and it pays less than digging ditches.

most people who pan for money end up buying a highbanker or dredge or at least a sluice and grizzly just because it's a lot of goddamn work.

Checked & no. It will take some time for ppl to figure this out and accept it, but the rules changed. We are seeing a new game unfold upon our very eyes. And playing by the old rules will leave you behind, rolling in the dust.

It's quite exciting, we are entering a new paradigm. Would be quite fitting to rewatch Putin's predictions from almost a decade ago, warning us a new kind of war will completely shuffle up the dominos : a war over the ownership of tangible, limited resources, and that the fairy dust of beepboop "value" on a screen era was about to end now everybody around the world have access to the same technology.
>>
>>60132866
that sucks. Panning is legal in my area as long as it's public land. I get away with sluicing sometimes also, but it's illegal. Anything with power will get a person ticketed real fast. So I just got really good at panning. I can pan faster than most people can sluice.

Check for your states options on staking a gold panning claim
>>
>>60133154
yes, I can highbank and dredge a little on a claim. I can do whatever I want on my own land with a permit to dig.

but I'm talking about what I can do without a permit or fee. Panning is about the limit most places. Once you start paying for permits and lawyers you're not making money or having fun.
>>
>>60133154
for example, on a claim I have to file for a permit to move more than 3 yards of dirt. I can move 3 yards of dirt in a single day panning, so I'd need a permit.

the permit process requires remediation plans, environmental impact studies, and a bond to guarantee nothing gets fucked up. This costs on average around $50k to do, and that's if everything goes good. If the government fights my permit it costs millions.

so even with a claim you're probably operating illegally. You're paying a claim fee for something you could just as well illegally do without the claim.

>you wouldn't want to squeeze the big banks
you couldn't squeeze them even if you sold kidneys of all the people you ever met and bought silver with that money
>>
>>60133254
If everyone bought an ounce of physical silver the world would instantly run out.
Silver is easy to squeeze because there's not a lot of it. At least the metal anyways. Paper is infinite and banks mostly hold paper.
>>
>>60133297
>Silver is easy to squeeze
making 340 million people simultaneously decide to buy an ounce of silver doesn't sound that easy to me
>>
>>60132023
>To preface, this is NOT a FUD-post.
>I'm pulling out of stacking Silver for at least a few months
>>
>>60133308
there's more than 340 million people in the world

"easy" is relative. Silver is easy to squeeze compared to just about anything else. But if you can get every human alive to buy an old pokemon card you could perhaps drive those to the moon instead.

>1% of White Americans retirement funds is 8 Billion ounces
Please don't buy physical. Please. The banks and industry need it.

Seems as if the chinks are buying gold hand over fist any chance they can, meanwhile, the average Goymericans are in a state of somnambulism. Swipe, swipe, swiping their credit cards for their baby mommas, car payments, starbucks, etc. The elites WANT to turn USA into a third-world Hellhole... with guns!
>>
So it's basically over for Gold and Silver isn't it?

Bitcoin is surviving this storm, no normie is going to sell their shitcoins because they all have hope they'll make it.

'Tis a sly JIDF-troll post above me, but I'll bite. Most normies don't gamble with crypto, they just max out their credit cards and ask for loan-forgiveness. The rare chance a normie does some crypto, it's usually holding XRP, ADA, or BTC bags. Normie boomers play in the stock market casino. Stackers are a very auspicious and rare kind of "investor".
