A short summary of the craziness that happened in the market today

At 10:10 AM ET, rumors emerged that the White House was considering a "90-day tariff pause."

At 10:15 AM ET, CNBC reported that Trump is considering a 90-day pause on tariffs for ALL countries except for China.

By 10:18 AM ET, the S&P 500 had added over +$3 TRILLION in market cap from its low.

At 10:25 AM ET, reports emerged that the White House was "unaware" of Trump considering a 90-day pause.

At 10:26 AM ET, CNBC reports that the 90-day tariff pause headlines were incorrect.

At 10:34 AM ET, the White House officially called the tariff pause headlines "fake news."

By 10:40 AM ET, the S&P 500 erased -$2.5 TRILLION of market cap from its high, 22 minutes prior.

Never in history have we seen something like this

And a reminder. A rumor on the Internet/twitter moved trillions in minutes.
This is fucked up. Someone made a fuck of a lot of money in a very short time

The sp500 is moving up and down like a Solana shit coin LOL

CNBC needs to be investigated, litterally no one else but them was talking about that. The whole thing was a question asked to Kevin Hassett on fox on if Trump would consider it, not that he would actually do it

Never mind

the manipulation that's going on is incredible
do you think trump & co aren't shorting the market before they announce shit? why was Musk almost crying a week ago about Tesla stock but not this week?

It was me I made $60 from it. I'm the whale
>>
>>60178343
It amazes me that there are people dumb enough to believe that today's "mistake" was actually just a random one-off thing. The "fake tweet" is just there to serve as a justification for moving the market however they want. It's not actually the real cause.
>>
>>60178050
who's going to investigate them? All of the regulatory agencies have just been gutted by trump and filled with loyalists. And why would the trump admin even dare going after all the MAGA goons on CNBC? lol, they helped get him elected with their glazing.

>literally the entire market understands that the Trump tarrifs are fucking atrocious and will america
>so much so that the mere RUMOR that they might be delayed caused TRILLIONS to go in and out of the stock market
>US will actually stick to it
So what does that tell us about where the market is heading?
If Trump delivers proof that all major countries are dropping all their tariffs and trade between them and the US is now tariff free, then there will be one of the greatest bull runs of all time. If major powers like the EU start announcing retaliatory tariffs, the US is basically fucked and Zion Don will be remember as the biggest fucking retard in US politics history.
>>
>>60177777
Checked.
Get me in the screencap.
>>
>>60179314
it was degenerate gamblers and hedge funds taking out retarded leveraged positions retards, it's not real money.
>>
>>60179353
How come there isn't a pile of 3 trillion dollars in the hands of people who think tariffs are great to counteract this then? Like, what the fuck do you think is going to happen to the industries that depend on imported materials once they receive a 10% trade tax that can completely cut off their profit?
>>
>>60179386
because tarriffs are bad for traders/banks.
those funds depend on credit creation, that money used to buy it was literally just invented out of nowhere. they have a bunch of assets they use as collateral, do a crazy leverage on it and put it all in with brand new money.

Pro tarriff people don't think they will be good for the market in the short term, like me they think it's a scam mostly lol
>>
>>60177777

Reminder that stock market is based entirely on fears and hopes of emotional idiots who do not know anything about money and investment. It might as well be totally random.
