The infographics show did a video on what would happen if america imposed a 100% tariffs on the entire world and that it would destroy the american economy.
Trump is going to test that, and I think he's going to win because the market loves tariffs, that's why it's mooning.

>By 1929, the U.S. economy was showing signs of trouble; the agricultural sector was depressed due to overproduction and falling prices, forcing many farmers into debt, and consumer goods manufacturers also had unsellable output due to low wages and thus low purchasing power. Factory owners cut production and fired staff, reducing demand even further. Despite these trends, investors continued to buy shares in areas of the economy where output was declining and unemployment was increasing, so the purchase price of stocks greatly exceeded their real value.

Can't tell if the market is delusional or some people with a fuck ton of money know something
>>
The reason the market is pumping is because yesterday Trump finally began to indicate that he was willing to negotiate tariffs. This confirmed the bias that the market already had that the tariffs only existed to get countries to the table to negotiate, and so the sentiment from last week is unwinding.

What people aren't noticing is that, yes, Trump is sitting down to talk, but he's not making any deals. Nobody has gotten a deal yet. Even Israel couldn't get a deal. And we're t-minus 16 hours from the tariffs going live. And Trump literally can't postpone them at this point without giving up his entire position -- if he starts postponing the tariffs then all the sudden his negotiation partners will start waiting him out, and foreign countries' exports will boom as US companies start stockpiling their goods ahead of any possible tariff.

The market saw evidence that confirmed its preexisting bias and ran with it. It's gonna be fucked later this week as the tariffs go live.

Is it true boys? Can we really pick up some mega cheapies in a couple of months?

Mark Spitznagel, chief investment officer and founder of Universa Investments, told MarketWatch he expected an '80% crash' was lurking around the corner.

'I expect an 80% crash when this is over. I just don't think this is it. This is a trap,' he said, adding that when the real crash happens, investors will know it.

Spitznagel's fund was one of the big winners during the extreme volatility that rocked markets in the early days of the pandemic in 2020, returning a whopping 4,144% in Q1 of the Covid-affected year.

'This is another selloff to shake people out. This isn't Armageddon. That time will come as the bubble bursts,' he said in comments to MarketWatch.

His only contribution to the admin has been cultural sway and being willing to take the brunt of DOGE backlash.
