Because everything is fake and gay. Gold should be perfectly relational to the printing of fed notes, yet it was not until suddenly the last couple years it flew off the handle? Yeah right. Everything is manipulated so hard that the only way it goes back to reality is when reality cannot be ignored anymore, like if we run out of solves to make TVs. Then people won't be able to drink the lies from their screens any longer and we'll find out the truth.

Uruguay anon here I have some bad news about IQ. I made a connection to an HR gal at Tata Consultancy in Montevideo and described him and his behaviors using their servers and VPNs to manipulate precious metals. She told me there's nothing they can do he's somehow connected to a minority shareholder of Tata and whatever he does doesn't matter he's considered untouchable they can't even write him up most days he doesn't even show up for work and when he does he just goofs off in his office or spends his days trading stocks and other things.

They are like the old ladies you see at 7 AM at the outdoor market discussing the weather everyday, always repeating the same mantras like automatons.

Still, you are correct in that it's better than here because at least they have a moderation team doing their job.

In my dumbass opinion: No. Not at all. The microscopic gold content is virtually irrecoverable from its’ plastic tomb. Buy a sought-after sportsball / Pokemon / Yu-Gi-Oh / Magic the Gathering collector edition (WOWZA!) card, or buy gold foil. Their mutant lovechild doesn’t have the qualities of either parent.
>>
>>60242701
I like them as a concept but they have issues in practice. You can't fold them up like paper notes because the laminate comes apart over time. They're too bulky for pocket use without an autistic looking special wallet. And if they melt in a fire, you're not reclaiming that metal like you can with coins or bars.

Dude, I discovered this place in 2019 and pissed off the virgin marine fag, and the wheelchair fag with the goblina wife that was so ugly I couldn't even tap for a week. At that time the silver shills were here, but nothing like today, holy shit I can't believe I've come back to see "if you're getting flak, you're over the target" get confirmed so hard. Take notice, the shills have no fundamentals, they have FUD. Fear, uncertainty and doubt, that and insults, mockery or condescension.

When did these anti gold shills come from? I only came back because gold is going up and I'm shocked to find that the place is rife with anti gold shills like this. I don't remember anti gold kykes at all, they were all anti silver and they were far fewer.. These shills don't even engage in real faith discussions.

Become a noticer of patterns. You should be buying gold and silver, you should know both are manipulated, you should know the gold market is larger and hence more difficult to control versus silver market being tiny and in the hands of a few and being much easier to manipulate. You should know that manipulation of silver keeps gold looking unappealing and keeps the price down because people think that precious metals are not real money but investments that go nowhere. You should know part of the manipulation is also getting people to sell their stacks which helps keep prices low.

If you've been here a long time, these shills are invisible to you. I will in the future engage with them seeing as you newbies need to see some sound arguments instead of us just laughing at the kykelets.

I'm 38. My wife is 18. She's into my stacking.

She chased me down. Told her she won't get money from me if she tries anything because I have no money, she has no idea about my stack but I tell her I'm in love with gold and silver, she sees some coins here and there, I explain to her I'd wreck myself before I let her destroy me. She loves me and my stacking. Hehe.

British jeet here, my wife is Indian. Sorry for pooing in your land English people but love you guys and don't want to replace you, I want a white English London.

Good post, fren.

I've only started stacking back in November last year but boy am I so happy I went in on Gold and kept a relatively smaller stack of Silver especially compared to some of the retards here claiming to have 1,000's of ounces of the stuff. My GSR ratio is a sustainable 1:20 and I feel like that's a nice middle ground between historic data and this modern clown world manipulation. Silver jobs to Gold so hard it's unreal, and if you say ANYTHING like that, the SilverSchizo's come out the woodwork and label you as IQDELET 2.0 (as if that nigger has any friends) and I'm really quite sick of it. For now, will hold on to the PMs I do have and start stacking bullets, beans, and bottles of water. I'm more worried about when SHTF than these Silverbugs are. Imagine having to move around your ridiculous stack of Silver like related >>60244591

>>60245499
Dude you don't get it do you, it's about purchasing power, and the gold and silver used to measure your purchasing power. The harder silver does nothing, the harder it's going to go mental when the manipulation stops. The manipulation is multifaceted, it is all measures designed to create the illusion that silver is junk to the public. Once the public wakes up because they are forced into it, silver will sky rocket hard.

The circumstances will be that the people see the rich using gold, they get jealous that 10,000 dollars years you half a gram, and they will see you get more silver instead. Once we reach that point, all bets are off. If you buy silver, you need diamond balls but you are getting guaranteed purchasing power that will multiply by an immense amount.

If silver goes up significantly, I'm scared. Because that's a sign that the current system is breaking and we're going to go through the window to the next paradigm.

id say around 2 more weeks. get gold and dont listen to the tards who have been conned by shills. silver will lose you money on premiums alone and its never going to break out like they claim, anybody who thinks otherwise doesnt understand economics at all. Gold will preserve your wealth at worst and become an ever appreciating asset at best. You dont ever lose with gold. Ive been all in for a few years and my money has only ever gone up. Over 2x so far and I only put it in gold to hold my money outside banks and preserve it, never with the intention of making money.

Hey /pmg/ I was planning on stacking on junk silver as I heard it is a somewhat good investment, at least when stacking coins like silver Kennedy's etc. But what about greek silver coins (not ancient but nineteenth century+) their purity can vary from .700 to .900 and very few of them were minted in comparison to coins of other nations... So would they be worth it investment wise or would they be something i collect purely for a fancy collection?

>people fudding PMs in a collapse scenario
>"why do you believe-"
wdym "believe" we have experience and proof, go read Balkanbro's survival primer. He lived through it.
It's not like collapse is some theoretical thing. We've seen collapses happen within current living memory and it's ALWAYS the same.
Do you want anything, anything at all, from where civilization continues? PMs.
Do you want to trade inside the collapse zone with people who run the boundary? PMs.
Do you want a lifeline out for yourself or friends or family? PMs.
PMs in collapse isnt to trade inside. Food or bullets or lighters/fluid do that. PMs are to play the border between heaven and hell.
And that's as true now, within the markets, as it is when the markets fail.

The base of this answer revolves around coinage. Coins were typically made out of gold, silver, copper, or bronze. The main coins in circulation were the silver denarius, the brass sestertius or sesterce (which was worth 1/4th of a denarius), and the copper assarius or as (worth 1/16th of a denarius).

reminder that basel III endgame starts on july 1 and ramps up through 2028. Banks with more than a billion in assets will have to stack physical gold. Physical Gold got moved from a tier 3 asset to a tier 1(same as cash/treasuries) and paper gold no longer counts. They be required to keep 85% of their money backed by tier one assets way up from 50%.

Diocletian’s (Not So Popular) Edict
During his rule, Emperor Diocletian decided to finally take a stand against the rampant inflation that had been building for decades in the Roman Empire.
And how did he attempt to curb the increasing prices?
One of the more ineffective methods he chose was to set maximum prices on, well, pretty much everything.
In 301 A.D., Diocletian released his Edict on Maximum Prices, a comprehensive list of goods and services in the Roman economy (over 1,200 in total) and the official maximum price that could be charged for each.
Lucky for us, this list included salaries!
Although Diocletian’s infamous edict was ignored pretty much as soon as it was established, it provides us with valuable information about the ancient Roman economy and the lives of everyday people in everyday professions.

Here are a few maximum rates for services in the Roman Empire, according to Diocletian’s Edict:
Farm laborer – 25 denarii per day
Baker – 50 denarii per day
Veterinarian – 6 denarii per animal, for the task of clipping & preparing hooves
Barber – 2 denarii per client
Scribe – 25 denarii for 100 lines of “the best writing,” and only 20 denarii for 100 lines of “the second quality writing.”
Gymnastics instructor – 50 denarii per month, per student.
Lawyer – 250 denarii for opening a case, 1,000 denarii for pleading a case.

To get a general idea of the buying power these wages would afford a Roman citizen, here are some things you could buy with your hard-earned denarii:

Wheat – 100 denarii per kilogram
Wine – 30 denarii per pint (discounts available for aged wine!)
Honey – 40 denarii for a pint of “best quality,” or 24 for a “second quality” pint
Beef – 8 denarii per pound
Goose (fattened) – 200 denarii
Goose (not fattened) – 100 denarii
Eggs – 1 denarius per egg
Male lion (presumably alive) – 150,000 denarii
Keep in mind that these were just the maximum prices that could be charged for these goods and services (and that the Edict was never really enforced or accepted by the people).

That's why I upped my silver DCAs for this month, May and June and I'm decreasing the amount for July and the foreseeable future until the dust settles.

Domitian's financial policies included the following (Southern 1997, p. 53):
Canceling debts to the treasury.
Refusing inheritances that would leave children without money.
Increasing expenditure.
Overhauling the mint (by ceasing bronze coin production and improving silver and gold varieties).
Lavish building programs.
Pay rise for the army.

After the year 85 a debasement of fine metals occurred, likely due to a crisis of some sort. Domitian refused to devalue coins further than they already had been, a step that would be taken by later emperors, which led to financial issues during his reign. (Southern 1997, p. 62). His large expenditures on extensive building programs and a massive pay-rise for the army left state finances strained even further. The managing of finances was a critical part of his reign, and he was willing to spend, spend, spend, whereas most other emperors were more conservative in their approach and tried to squeeze more money out of the population and spent less of it.
Domitian, unlike most all other emperors, had a very hands on approach to governmental matters. He micro-managed a lot of aspects that were usually just left to the devices of specific officials. He was big on rules and regulations and under his rule there was less corruption and embezzlement than usual. Nowhere was this direct influence more visible than his involvement in financial state matters. (Jones, 1992, p. 79). In doing so he stepped on a lot of toes and this approach to governing was generally hated by the social elite who felt their power and authority infringed on. It was part of this animosity that would lead to Domitian's bad relations with the senate, eventually leading to his death, and ultimately to an undeserved damnatio memoriae through which he was vilified by his successor and the senatorial elite who had hated him. This was of course not the sole reason for this conclusion to his life, but certainly a contributing factor. As such it may explain in part why other emperors did not engage in such practices as often as you'd expect.

Should have bought gold instead of fucking crypto. If I spent that $5000 in gold since 2021, that $5000 would be like $8000 now instead 0 cause of crypto crashing. I'm done with crypto and after this year if I can get at least that $5000 back, it will go to gold instead.
