Been a graphic designer for 8 years and my wages have capped off at around $78k since COVID. I’m getting tired because the work is dead boring and shit pay. People also have no respect for the limitations of your job description and ask you to do web design and marketing stuff for next to minimum wage. AI is also about to completely fucking destroy it. I was happy to slave away when I was younger but I’m pushing 30 now and I’m done with it. Is there a way I could get into marketing or some kind of creative director role? I have a pretty impressive portfolio to show.
