I think there is something psychologically fascinating about the type of people that fell for the bbby scam, and decided the GameStop general was the place they needed to spew their nonsense.
Personally, I don’t think there were many that actually did fall for it. GameStop is a hyper rational play, and bbby was an orchestrated attempt to manufacture a short squeeze on a company whose own board said was going bankrupt.
I’m convinced that posting about bbby here is meant to associate me and my investment with those fucking retards in an attempt to harm my GameStop investment.
I think that by being able to say “see those Reddit investors that bought GameStop don’t even care what company it is or what the outlook is, they are just trying to harm markets”
Nothing about the bbby stupid saga is anything like GameStop, or its stock. Nothing at all. Yet we had Keith in here telling us to buy it or we weren’t as smart as he is, and that it’s gonna get awkward soon.
Well it is fucking awkward Keith. You told GameStop shareholders to buy a distraction stock at $25 and it went to zero. Zero. No shares. Liquidated. Gone.
And now those same posters are still in these threads and have now flipped to
>expect delays
It’s fucking insanity. It has nothing to do with GameStop or my investment, and it could not be more clear someone has been paying shills to make it appear the two are synonymous when one investment is grounded in logic, and the other is pure dunning-kreuger retardation

Etrade is glitching and showing certain stocks to be at zero on and off. I checked a variety of stocks, and it's only happening to some of them. If it was happening to all the stocks, then I wouldn't care. But why these particular stocks? Why isn't it happening to nvda, tsla, or even amc? Seems too odd to be just a coincidence.

Listen, guys, I haven't got long.

I just got back from my friend's house in the forest where he lives (high up in the branches). He told me the real reason for the convertible bonds and I rushed back here to tell all of you.

Basically, the Fed is toast. Apparently Ryan is offering them enough collateral (the bonds) to continue kicking the can for the foreseeable future.

This baby is gonna rise up to $6 million then there’s gonna be another stock split.

Then in just over a years time there’s gonna be another ride up to $6 million.

Keep this one under your feathers. Thanks me later.

Oh boy, just finished gathering acorns, on the branchway home... overhear two birds chattering, then one starts talking about GME.

I'm listening the whole time because my mouth is stuffed with acorns, but it seemed as if one of them had literally regurgitated the full DD catalogue, either that or he works in nest building (high up in the trees).

Anyways, he was saying he thinks the convertible notes are a way to stabilize the bond markets by providing exposure to GME, and further liquidity through the creation of GME bond ETFs.

He said the price is gonna go up to $6 million, then there's gonna be another stock split. Then it will be another slow walk up to $6 million. A reordering of pristine collateral underpinning the global bond markets if you will.

Anyways, keep that under your dreys gents.

Thanks me later.

I think RC is gonna do a merger with PSA and change the grading process to include minting NFTs of people's graded cards, then allow for consignment via GameStop. To hold all the actual cards, keepsakes, and collectibles is where the Bank of GMERICA comes in. Ryan Cohen will purchase Bank Real Estate from dying banks post-MOASS and create physical locations for the financial holding company that is GMERICA.

Gamestop will not only steal all (((their))) money but will repurpose their banks to hold it after the fact.

I bet hedgies and shills are mad at Richard Newton for telling everyone about the 6 month swap theory. It works perfectly going all the way back to 2016 on predicting the lows. The best thing is, there is no way for swap holders to circumvent these lows and everyone taking advantage from retail to other hedge funds unless they close the swap.

I wonder why so many dockets are still so heavily redacted?

I wonder why Doug Cifu has been having meltdowns on Twitter for over a year and a half about a stock that stopped trading in October 2023, which is still before a board member of GameStop went onto a podcast that was dedicated to discussing bbby.

Middleclass plebs have an affliction where they desperately need to signal to each other that they are "upper-middle" class. Even if it impoverishes them, or they can't afford it. They earn their salary and they go out and spend almost all of their money on house, cars, dining experiences etc. Poor people understand and appreciate the value of the dollar and rich people don't need to signal their status to others. It's the middle class who don't really "get it".

Has anything ever happend like this in history? I believe it will MOASS, but i always have a hard time beliving it will reach like 100k or a bajillion dollars like some people say. That would just seem too chaotic and would break the whole system, making it inoperatable.

GameStop is the Stock That Refused to Die, and retail yoloing in with real shares instead of options is fucking Wall Street in the ass because they can't wait for our positions to expire and we're not paying fees to keep them open.

Bed Bath & Beyond’s evolution under Beyond, Inc. (NYSE: BYON) continues to capture attention in ways few would have predicted after the bankruptcy filings of 2023. The brand relaunch through BedBathandBeyond.com, the modest price tag of roughly 26 million dollars for the combined acquisitions of Bed Bath & Beyond and BuyBuy BABY, and whispers of a 2025 return to select physical storefronts point to a transformation that is leaner and potentially more impactful. At the same time, a more intricate story is unfolding behind the scenes, and it stretches well beyond simple corporate restructuring.

Much of the speculation involves Ryan Cohen and the puzzle of how GameStop, BBBY, insider moves, and heavily redacted court proceedings might be interlinked. Questions abound regarding Shelly Lombard, personally chosen by Cohen, who appears to be absent from a fraud lawsuit that names nearly every other key player. Her decision to retain Nick Lewin, a seasoned national security prosecutor rather than the typical corporate attorney, has ignited theories that something more significant is brewing. Hindenburg Research abruptly shut down around the same time, which raises further eyebrows among those who view it as a short-seller tool for deep-pocketed Wall Street interests. It isn’t hard to wonder why so much effort goes into dismissing these connections as mere “conspiracy” when the underlying data, market behavior, and court docket redactions consistently indicate that a high-stakes game is underway.
>>
>>60264555
Checked.

Retail investors who have tracked the storyline note that insider buying at GameStop has been almost nonexistent, except for Larry Cheng. They point to Cheng’s background in capital markets and his past appearance on a niche podcast where Bed Bath & Beyond was discussed, interpreting this as another clue that certain individuals are positioning themselves quietly. In parallel, institutions like Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan have been purchasing bonds at a pace that does not fit the narrative of a “dead” company. The question of why these seasoned financial powerhouses would allocate capital to a supposedly failing enterprise only deepens the suspicion that something major has yet to be revealed.

The cast of characters grows even more intriguing when examining cameo appearances by Roaring Kitty, who briefly mentioned BBBY on his stream after years of relative silence, and Brett Icahn, who has faded from the public eye. Docket information shows Ryan Cohen appearing in multiple roles at once—debtor, creditor, and interested party—which does not fit the usual playbook for a straightforward bankruptcy or brand buyout. High-level financial firms such as 6th Street are lining up for access to redacted court details, and the presence of organizations connected to high-profile public figures only fuels the notion that there is a bigger plan in motion. Seemingly random moments, like Patty Wu dressing up like a pirate on social media or Paris Hilton following certain online personalities, have become lore among the investor community. Whether these moves are strategic breadcrumbs or distractions, they point to a far more convoluted situation than standard corporate drama.
>>
>>60264557
Within all of this, Bed Bath & Beyond still holds valuable brand equity. At one time, it generated multi-billion-dollar revenues, so the potential for a comeback is not purely hypothetical. Macroeconomic factors in 2025 look more favorable as inflation cools and consumer spending rebounds, opening the door for new retail success stories. The online relaunch has already sparked renewed interest, and rumors of a “non-traditional” physical footprint could complement the e-commerce platform. If pending litigation outcomes direct fresh capital or settlement funds to Beyond, Inc., the brand might reclaim a larger share of the home-goods market than many anticipate. Adding to the momentum is the ongoing fascination with the stock across social media channels, where calls for a broader investigation into market manipulation intersect with bullish projections for the retailer itself.

Whether it is the alleged involvement of Ryan Cohen, the top-tier legal teams, or the hush-hush court dockets, there is little doubt that something unusual is happening behind the curtains. Mainstream financial outlets may dismiss the chatter as conspiracy theory, but retail investors and a growing number of analysts see an interconnected web of corporate interests, political connections, and legacy institutions jockeying for position. The abrupt closure of certain research outfits, the conspicuous silence of key insider figures, and the rumored alignment of global personalities all point to a story larger than a single retailer’s battle for survival. What unfolds could either confirm the suspicions of a massive coordinated effort or reveal a simpler explanation that merges standard bankruptcy proceedings with an opportunistic rebranding campaign. For now, this remains one of the most captivating, and at times confounding, developments in the market, where the line between strategy and subterfuge seems to grow blurrier by the day.
>>
>>60264567
In fact, the interplay of events around these two companies is so entangled that ignoring one while focusing on the other overlooks the fundamental thread uniting them. Start with Ryan Cohen, a linchpin figure who gained fame steering GameStop through a transformational phase and who also emerged as a central, though sometimes cryptic, participant in BBBY’s saga. He has shaped board appointments, engaged in strategic discussions, and sparked a swirl of rumors each time his name appears in a filing. That alone intertwines these tickers in a way that cannot be dismissed.

Consider the legal complexities. There are countless redactions in court dockets tied to BBBY’s bankruptcy proceedings. For some reason, these filings invoke a level of curiosity usually reserved for major financial controversies. Why maintain such secrecy unless the stakes are higher and broader? Investors in GameStop recall the intense focus on short positions, alleged market manipulation, and sudden spikes in volatility. That same drama now seems to trail BBBY. The common denominator is not just Cohen’s involvement; it is the broader pattern of behind-the-scenes moves, abrupt insider shifts, and notable legal maneuvers that have turned both companies into case studies of a modern-day David-versus-Goliath narrative. Retail investors accuse institutional players of orchestrating clandestine campaigns to undermine, short, or otherwise control outcomes.
>>
>>60264570
Add to this the hush-hush board activities and the use of specialized lawyers linked to national security. It becomes clear that those calling these connections “off-topic” may be missing how these developments are interwoven. Look at the pattern. Corporate insiders vanish from public view or go silent. Big-name short research outfits mysteriously close up shop. Major banks show up buying bonds in companies the mainstream media claims have no future. It mirrors the script that surrounded GameStop in 2021, although the stakes here could be even higher. GME’s earlier transformation caught much of Wall Street by surprise, and BBBY’s strong brand recognition and once-massive revenue base add another level of complexity.

If you take a broader view beyond the basic question of who is buying or selling, you see cameo appearances by figures like Roaring Kitty. His mention of BBBY on his stream has sparked speculation that something bigger is unfolding. There is also Brett Icahn’s puzzling radio silence, which stands in stark contrast to his normally high-profile dealmaking. These details are rarely as random as they might look. They connect back to Cohen, to labyrinthine litigation, and to the possibility of a multi-front chess match involving GME, BBBY, and perhaps other well-known retail chains. Even the current macro environment, with inflation cooling and consumer spending on an upswing, supports the idea that a well-timed union of these brands, or a coordinated restructuring featuring elements like an NFT-oriented ecosystem or digital coupon strategy, could forge a retail empire that merges investor devotion with mainstream consumer appeal.
>>
>>60264577
Checked.

At this point, we have a mosaic that includes mounting evidence of bond purchases by elite institutions, allegations that certain voices online may be astroturfing capitulation narratives, and speculation about closed-door negotiations featuring the same cast of characters moving back and forth between these tickers. This is not a wild conspiracy theory invented by novices; it is a confluence of corporate disclosures, obscure legal documents, and oddly timed media coverage hinting at a deeper story. So when someone says these posts are off-topic, they are overlooking the overarching plot line that ties BBBY and GME together. This thread is woven through redacted court files, cryptic social media teases, insider intrigue, and the footprints of big institutions all converging on the battlefield of retail investing. Ignoring these links is like skipping the second half of a novel just because the plot gets complicated. The interdependencies remain, recognized or not, and anyone who has been following the details can sense the building momentum.

its ok you can talk about filtering, but your paid to fight the narrative using ad hominem and other baseless emotional attacks because the information coming from primary sources is abundantly clear:

RC already has BBBY and is waiting on regulatory and legal holdups to perform restructurings, and knowing him and Larry Cheng just bought more GME shares means we are most likely delayed many more months as Cohen removes the road blocks.

This is simply not true. People can only shortsell if they have locates from the DTCC. If the prime brokers are buckling then no one will be shorting. That's sort of the problem here, GME is ALREADY massively short sold so the stock is already dangerously illiquid.
If Citadel is being liquidated at any price, no one is going to be opening up new shorts at $1000 because there will be no shares to short with. And a short seller that is not a market maker or prime broker will not be able to procure a naked shorted share to a naked-short trying to go long. Their new shorts would instantly be subsumed in the illiquidity as a far LARGER entity is imploding. If will be like jumping head-first into a flash-flood.
The era of GME being short sold is over. Brokers and Market makers and hedgies will be going LONG.

This is the kind of personal-butthurt that lets you know shorts are seething uncontrollably right now. They actually have no argument why we are wrong, but they are so frustrated that they simply want to lash out and be as mean and nasty as possible.
You made these mistakes on your own accord. You naked shorted a company that is positive, debt free with $32BN in cash. It's no ones fault but your own. Man up, do your time, and when you get put of jail, pull yourself up by the bootstraps. You did this to yourself and you have no one else to blame. Just admit your mistakes, close your shorts, and accept the consequences. Trying to hide your crimes instead of just fessing up is just plain cringe. You could have been 5 years down on your ten year sentence already. And the fact that you are depriving everyone else of their JUSTLY EARNED tendies is WRONG. You are IMMORAL and you need to stop what you are doing. Two wrongs do not make a right. If you choose to take to the ledge, no one will judge you. We understand you made mistakes and ten years in prison is not something anyone wants. But that does not mean you have a right to make the rest of us wait. Just be a man and close your shorts.

A short squeeze is all about supply and demand. Brokers want these liabilities off of their balance sheets because they can't obtain the actual shares from the darkpools anywhere close to the prices they are selling them for. As the underlying fundamentals of GME continue to improve, it is like brokers are giving away free money keeping the price down instead of themselves being allowed to capitalize on the upward price trajectory. They will probably never be able to go fully long if no one sells. Berkshire tier pricing of GME or Teddy is essentially a guarantee if people hold forever and never sell.

How is 140% of gamestop being shorted a problem. You can loan out shares multiple times so every short can close out eventually. No evidence for naked shorting and if there was it doesn't really make a difference anyway. It was a good opportunity to squeeze some firms with poor risk management. Charles Schwab went out about 300,000 new shares earlier this year. That looks like a small rationing of shares, like they are over-exposed to GME and they need to get just-barely under a certain threshold.
That's the crux of what is going on here. It is like inverting a knee and bending the joint in the exact opposite direction it is supposed to go. GME's fundamentals are amazing. So you want to be long. But the brokers, prime brokers, market maker and DTCC are ALREADY naked short. They were naked short at $1 per share.
The only way they clean themselves up is if we sell. There is NO OTHER WAY for them to get out of this. They not only want to close the short, but they THEN have to go long! Every last share in these darkpools is someone who knows the price is going to explode. And they are terrified and desperately want to hold onto them because there could be even more fallout in the derivative market if these institutions start toppling. It's actually hilarious to watch. It's hilarious because all of Wallstreet is seething and I'm just sitting here being a comfy boy. I'm going to become a multi millionaire by taking all of the hedgie's money. If any Hf was in that position they would just get a loan and buy enough shares to go long. Volume is in the millions and the price isn't even in the hundreds. The sheer magnitude of what’s unfolding around GameStop, BBBY, Ryan Cohen, insider moves, courtroom redactions, and broader market manipulation is something that most people simply aren’t ready to process either because they lack the patience to put the pieces together, or because they’re willfully ignoring the obvious. And let’s be clear: this isn’t some conspiracy theory cooked up by overzealous retail investors grasping at straws. The data is there, the filings are there, the market behavior is there, and the inconsistencies are impossible to ignore. The mainstream financial media can dismiss it all they want, but when you start asking the right questions, you realize that everything points to a game being played on a level most retail investors and even many Wall Street professionals aren’t prepared to understand.

Let’s start with the most glaring question: why is Shelly Lombard, a board member personally handpicked by Ryan Cohen, conspicuously absent from the fraud lawsuit when nearly everyone else is named? Why is she retaining Nick Lewin, a decorated national security prosecutor not just some random corporate attorney, but someone with a background in cases that extend beyond typical white-collar crime into areas of high-level government oversight? Why would she need that kind of defense unless there was something going on that transcends the usual corporate litigation nonsense? And why, at the same time, did Hindenburg Research suddenly shut down? The same Hindenburg Research that has been instrumental in short-selling campaigns against companies that pose a threat to entrenched Wall Street interests? The same Hindenburg Research that has been accused of being little more than a tool for institutional money to manufacture bear cases, spread panic, and short companies into the ground? The timing is too perfect to be a coincidence.
>>
>>60265542
And speaking of redactions, why is so much of the court docket information being heavily censored, yet “benevolently concerned strangers” are still showing up in every online space possible, acting as if they know exactly what’s happening and that retail investors should just accept the official narrative and move on? Why does a movement that’s supposedly just a ‘bagholder cult’ require such an aggressive narrative control effort from anonymous online ‘skeptics’ who mysteriously align with Wall Street interests? When there’s smoke, there’s fire, and the level of obfuscation happening here is absurd.

And let’s talk about insider activity, or the lack thereof. Why have no GameStop insiders been buying shares for months? Why is Larry Cheng the ONLY insider to make a purchase, and why did he just so happen to appear on a niche podcast years ago where retail investors were talking about BBBY? This is a guy who knows how to navigate capital markets, understand risk, and identify asymmetric opportunities, and he’s aligning himself with a movement that mainstream financial analysts still insist is “dead.” Except, it’s not dead. It’s evolving. Retail isn’t going anywhere, and the smart money knows it. Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan are buying bonds. Why? If this were just a dying company with no future, why would two of the most sophisticated financial institutions on the planet be loading up on bonds, which require deep due diligence and forward-looking analysis?
>>
>>60265341
Irrelevant.
The actual price is being man-handled by an algo. It's useless if the price is not high enough to entice people to sell. The brokers were using locates to allow for shorting and were offsetting the shorts against the longs. But the problem is they now have a situation where the amount of buying is far outpacing a sensible level of selling. They need the market to clear these trades instead of allowing for leveraged transactions of matching shortsellers with long buyers. But the problem is the longs aren't selling. And when they go to Dark Pools for help they find out the shareprice is actually real. It's not $26 per share. It's far far far higher. If they could just go to a Dark Pool and balance their books buying shares for $10 each or $25 each or $35 each they would have. They would even buy more and go long. The problem is the Dark Pools ain't selling.
The only way to clean this up is higher prices to entice the longs to sell and since they ALREADY KNOW we don't have to sell for any price and we'll keep making more money they are basically screwed.
This is the reality. There is no escape hatch they can slide into the survive. They are ALREADY BANKRUPT. Financially speaking, they have crawled into Nutty Putty Cave, headfirst.
>>
>>60265557
And then there’s Roaring Kitty. The man, the myth, the legend. A guy who has been silent for years, who chooses his words and actions very carefully, just so happened to briefly mention BBBY on his stream. Roaring Kitty doesn’t do anything without a purpose. This is a guy who turned $50,000 into $50 million in front of the entire world, and people still have the audacity to act like he’s some clueless retail gambler? If he mentioned BBBY, there’s a reason for it. The same way Brett Icahn, heir to Carl Icahn’s empire, has mysteriously vanished from the public eye. A guy who should be making moves left and right, and yet, there’s nothing. No major business activity, no headlines, no interviews. What’s he doing? What’s he waiting for? Why does it feel like all the key players in this saga are either disappearing, lawyering up, or making seemingly random moves that when put together form a picture of something much bigger than just a failing retail chain?

Now, let’s go deeper. Why were email exchanges between the former board and a certain major bank submitted in court? Why did Patty Wu dress up like a pirate on Twitter before the bankruptcy? Why is Ryan Cohen showing up in dockets as a debtor, a creditor, and an interested party all at the same time? This isn’t just corporate maneuvering. This is chess at the highest level. And why is 6th Street first in line for the redacted court information? Why does a supposedly irrelevant, “dead” play have high-level financial entities positioning themselves so strategically within its legal proceedings?
>>
>>60265566
Double checked.

And here’s where it gets really wild: Why is Paris Hilton following the PP Show? Why did her brother-in-law just meet with the same Arab tycoon that RC recently met at Mar-a-Lago? Why is HBC—the same HBC connected to BBBY—also the anchor investor for Trump Media? You mean to tell me this is all coincidence? Because if you believe that, then I’ve got some “meme stock” shares to sell you at a deep discount.

Every time you step back and look at the bigger picture, the web of connections only gets more intricate. The dots don’t just connect; they form a roadmap to something monumental. The institutions that thought they could play the same games they’ve always played, manipulating stocks, gutting companies, and suppressing retail investors, are scrambling. The level of obfuscation, misdirection, and outright censorship around this entire saga suggests that the people in control are losing control.

So, where does this all lead? What happens next? That’s the trillion-dollar question. But one thing is certain: Retail investors aren’t stupid. They’ve done the homework. They’ve connected the dots. And when this all finally unfolds, there are going to be a lot of very surprised people wondering how they missed the biggest financial story of the decade.

Buckle up.

>dollar distributed across the world
>america still holds the throne
is this more or less right?
>>
>>60265726
There are already too many dollars in the world. What we're seeing with tariffs and with the bepis trade unraveling is that those dollars are being brought home to pay us, to pay debt, and to reindustrialize.

gme is my favorite stock. it's the only stock that has brought me happiness. it's the only stock I have 100% confidence. so when I see certain individuals get so agitated by gme, it leads me to only one conclusion: those poor sad individuals must be on the wrong end of gme. they can complain all they want to, but the fact of the matter is that gme is the best stock. it's not even up for debate. gme is the best. i love gme.
