Take away citizen rights from everyone who makes less than 120,000$ a year. This way America will be saved - no more subsidizing the existence of useless eaters.

Nothing happened because every others nations accepted to go along with it. Because back then the US weren't such an unreliable trading partner. Globalization requested certainty over deals, clear regulations, smooth homogenization/standardization, secure network and some laisser faire.

Now the US admin is a kafkayan paperwork nightmare, cuts deals, scam their partners, impose straight up illegal fines and sanctions on everybody considered a competitor or not straight up kissing their asses, and now with Bloumpf are flipflopping on a daily like schitzos on stupid taxes, and are limiting USD velocity. It's like they decided to speedrun their own downfall by making their reserve currency the worst radioactive shit imaginable.

The shitshow started in 2014 with the racket of BNP, stealing $9B from the bank, then a rain of unfair, mafia-style fines on a bunch of others trade partners' companies all over the world ensued, who made big foreign corps super wary of the US. Then it accelerated to stupid levels with total sanctions over Russia and the stealing of their assets, both from companies and individuals. On top of the unfair regulations on chinese semiconductors. Already in 2022 there were countless signs everybody was getting out of the US system (abandon of swift, OPEP countries dealing in yuans, MBS giving the birdie to Biden and stopping to sell crude in USD, etc..). And now this absolute shitstorm? It's 100% joever for the US as the hegemon of international commerce. And maybe it was planned that way.

Two EMAs or MAs crossing on bearish... it isn't the end-all be-all, with just two moving averages you get a lot of false signals, you should look for a confirmation or two.
I am not saying that it isn't true, don't get me wrong, but I wrote a couple of bots and this strategy is pig shit when you start back testing.

Do you code algos to detect stuff like the death cross yourself or do you use open source stuff to patch it in just curious

Keep in mind I haven't done this for a bit, ever since the UK banned futures for small investors in crypto. I wrote everything from scratch pretty much, except a few statistics libraries, which I just imported, I don't need to reinvent the wheel, and I used a backtesting library for the same reason.

That would deepen the AI recession:

In the coming months, AI will devaluate most non-nepotist white collar workers to zero, those of merit based professions in particular. This means that all the industries catering to them, office buildings, middle class housing, all the trade companies building & maintaining these, practically all of education, will vanish. Most of clothing, vacation revenue will also be gone. The effect is less pronounced in America, because a huge part of the middle class doesn't need to work anymore, they can live off interest, even if stock markets crash by 50% or more. Germany will be less affected as well, but mostly because it is a socialist society with a landlord & bureaucrat ruling caste. But other countries will fall into a deep recession because of this effect.

It will take several years for new industries to take over, catering to AI instead of us.

This gap is the AI recession.

If you bother to backtest the death cross you will find it's not a consistrnt indicator. It lags well behind in many cases, nearly to the point of being a buy signal on indices.

Look for "s&p death cross" on Twitter. Many talk about it
>>
Death crosses are more often correlated with periods of growth than periods of decline. All they really mean is that the stock in question has gone down a lot recently -- nothing more and nothing less.

Why not just run the bots from Malaysian or whatever Amazon servers and then launder the gains? I mean how easy is it to launder/obfuscate virtual money gotten from bots? I mean you can even just gift yourself store gift cards, lel

I didn't bother. Honestly, there is very little money in it. I did data science for a long time before getting into real-time systems and even with significant knowledge of statistics and forecasting (if you are curious, Holt-Winters Triple exponential smoothing is quite good) I didn't make all that much.
I am firmly convinced that frontrunning/arbitrage is the only way to make any serious cash outside of long-term positions. I could write something like that fairly quickly, I have worked on bidding engines in AdTech for years, so I am used to building systems that respond in <50 milliseconds.
That being said, I am happy to just ride this out for now, I'll have a short on Tesla when the market opens tomorrow and work on something completely unrelated in the background. Times of economic turmoil are the best times to launch new tech with no legacy and other issues.
