google made 96 billion last quarter. that fine is .4% of that. i.e literally nothing and basically just a minor expense in doing business

for comparison, average speeding ticket in the us is $150. assuming you make like 80k, thats .75% of your income per quarter. so its literally less than a speeding fine for them

https://fortune.com/2025/09/02/salesforce-ceo-billionaire-marc-benioff-ai-agents-jobs-layoffs-customer-service-sales/

>Billionaire CEO Marc Benioff said his $248 billion Salesforce has cut about 4,000 customer service roles as AI agents step in to do the work. Just like Klarna and Microsoft, the Silicon Valley mogul revealed he just “needs less heads” now that the technology can handle over a million consumer conversations and has reduced support costs by 17% since around the start of 2025. It’s a change of tune from Benioff’s previous comments that AI wouldn’t lead to a white-collar wipeout.

Yeah, he'll surely employ these people with lower rates.

I've worked part time at Walmart for almost 10 years now. You know we match 15% payroll contributions to buying WMT stock, yes? I got up to 300 shares before splitting it off into other assets. I still have 100 in my TFSA and another 30 shares in my computershare account. My goal was to hit 100 so I can write long-dated CCs and get another 1-2% yield.
Also, after an ER where it unreasonably dips 4-6%, it's a great time to buy leaps

Nah, that's Costco. We get 10% discount cards in for any products in store, though. Actually, since covid, we have a 20% off day, once per month (used to be once a year on up to 3 items), as long as we don't buy things to resell.
Our store used to have a McDonalds. Then a Tim Hortons. Now we just use it for fixture storage

>>60893673
Hey, if you do the math, that 15% matching works out to a 13% discount, which means the stock has to absolutely tank before your moat gets lost. There's only a handful of staff who actually take advantage of it, or even max it out.

And as far as our DPSP, I allocated mine towards international equities and it's been doing pretty well. At worst, it's about equal to SPY performance, and at best, also diversifies me across other geographic areas (it's about 80% into #8321, which has very few US stocks, mostly finance sector I think)

In keeping with theme. I have noticed a lot more discounts on things lately. I often check slickdeals. Like I bought MRE's and they were pretty cheap. But all kinds of stuff is getting really large discounts. People are clearing out inventory. Where before they were stocking inventory to beat tariffs and prices were still high.

Even the price of ON protein powder (double rich chocolate of course) has gone down. It was solidly $80 on Amazon and now it is $70. This keeps up next month inflation is going to crash. If not for homes and cars we might actually now have switched to deflation. Cars I've been waiting for price crashes. Usually they start with large incentives first before MSRP drops.
>>
>>60893752
Yes but you're missing the point. It's not a lot by itself, but when you include the upside, the dividend, 1-2% from options, and a small amount of extra contributions from them, you're stacking things, so you get layered growth on top of compound interest

I forget the numbers but a significant percentage of jobs listed are fake as part of ploy to claim employers can not find qualified candidates to fill positions, therefore they need H1-B visa waivers or approvals to hire cheap labor from over seas to fill the jobs. There were vids on youtube showing large conferences in hotels where employment and immigration attorneys were explaining the crows how to list the fake job openings and how to apply for approvals to hire immigrants for cheap. If you are that interested I am sure you can find them on YT, or maybe Grok can find them for you. This has been going on for a long time.

If anyone knows of good stocks to buy to invest in a humanoid robot future, please do share, the main one that's on my mind is TSLA, but... that's Tesla.

There's also XPEV and maybe Honda.

Not true, cuckoldry has origins in a lot of cultures. Even in some African languages there are words for men in their tribes getting cucked. Life is brutal everywhere. Crossdressing did come from England though with the extreme underground movement of intense "poofery" ever witnessed on earth. Germany with scat porn too.

>>

As I said yesterday, I didn't expect much movement. Infact I even thought they would stay up for another 3 months. When a company gets booted from DAX, it's not always bad. Infact for the last company to do so (Covestro in end 2024 (?)) it ended up being good for them. Porsche AG slipped into the MDax, while Porsche Holding stayed in DAX. Explains the crabbing. However, imploding is still imminent.
>>
>>60894329
I should add, Porsche Holding was close to being booted as well. I think they're gonna wait for Porsche and VW earnings, how it plays into Porsche Holding stock, and then they're gonna decide. Worst case for them: domino effect because of bad EV business.

If people and businesses are making money and that money is devalued by inflation then it makes sense for this game to continue. You would need actual deflationary crash for things to perhaps change, for a while, at least, like in 2022. Although back then I assumed bear market would continue for longer than it did.

What do anons think of Adobe? It's printing money with a forward PE of 15 but it's down because of AI bullshit. I really don't see how AI is a threat to their business.
>>
>>60894387

Adobe is genuinely fucked by AI, one of the few times the market is pricing it in correctly, Look at Google's Nano Banana model. It shits on photoshop from a great height and is still in its infancy.

ADBE will benefit from their currents subscriptions and scummy exit fees from the mass exodus. But long term this is blockbuster and AI is Netflix.

It is a value trap.
>>
>>60894387
>i dont see how ai is a threat
i'm not trying to be mean i just think this is something you should look into
have you ever been tested for mental retardation?
>>
>>60894395
>>60894401
Have you guys ever actually used Photoshop or Illustrator? AI slop isn't a replacement for its tools. Professionals (from whom Adobe makes most of its money) need fine control over their work, which AI just can't provide. From what I've seen, every single time a company tries using AI in their stuff they fuck it up and it looks godawful.
>>
>>60894387
The whole point is they are trying to develop AI tools themselves but not getting anywhere. Loosers in that race are fucked long term.
>>
>>60894387
>>60894395

Seems to me there is huge value in a good editing tool that incorporates AI. So photoshop with clever AI integration. I feel that is a much more desirable product than just a prompting engine that spits out images.
Problem is ADBE is so fucking slow to pick up on this its making me worried they wont be the ones to deliver this product. They have potential gold but they aren't showing a sense of urgency in minting it.
>>
>>60894387
Adobe Acrobat reader is by far the worst business product still widely used.
The price could be very well be down just by people getting mad at acrobat's bullshit
>>
>>60894412
AI will eventually become commoditized, so who cares? They can just integrate the latest opensource chink model and call it a day.
>>
>>60894407
most failures are failures of direction not execution like crackerbarrel
simple truth is the goyslop consumer doesnt give a fuck it's only artists who've lost their commissions(for the exact same reason) autistically sperging on twitter
for a pre-ai example look at trannylators making minimum wage, it doesnt matter that the translations are shit the consoomer consooms
>>
>>60894417
So when are they going to fucking start doing that?
AI is not something you want to be sitting on the sidelines for until its a mature product. At least not if you care about shareholder value.
>>
>>60894427

Google won. Adobe lost.

>it's only artists who've lost their commissions(for the exact same reason) autistically sperging on twitter
The small-time artists working for commission were never a major source of revenue for Adobe though. They get their money from businesses which will still need the tools that Adobe software provides. AI has been popular for a while now, so why has Adobe's revenue been increasing at 10% like clockwork for 3 years now (pic related)?

impressive, but not that much better than what's already been made open source by chinese university students. it won't take long for Adobe to catch up. they don't even need to build their own models when they can just copy a chinese one. image gen is a dead end anyways, why would anyone pay for this shit when a free model and a little bit of photoshop can do it all?

AI video is the real money maker.

>>60894440
good enough is far less good than you believe

its not buy/sell signals, although theyre pretty accurate. many people will buy high and get dumped on or sell the bottom and see the stock shoot up. so i made this indicator to mainly help you avoid this but you can also use it to trade. check pic related, it shows the general idea. all signals are reversals. stick with bobo/.mumu as they are reversal with trend. blue orange can be ok too. bog is harder to time but might be the best risk/reward. but definitely read the description because there is a lot more to it like why signals fail, indicator limitations, pro tips which really helps in using it better. idk how well you'll actually do if you just buy/sell when the signal shows up cus the indicator "looks good like it works"

BNPL are awful business models. They make money off of fees towards the businesses that they service in a similar fashion to visa/MasterCard. But their biggest offerings are... Interest free loans to one of two people: Those who set it on auto pay and never pay interest, or those who never pay it and don't give a shit about a credit history so they ignore any and all attempts to collect on the 30% apy.
These businesses are not profitable.

AI training is about sheer quantity of data more than quality.

I don't if I'm seeking information or something. But I'm here to talk about stocks and other topics for entertainment purposes, and the absurd actions and experiences of real, live people is sometimes more interesting and entertaining than talking to an omniscient digital presence.
>>
is it wise to check your stonks on a daily basis?
I was speaking to a broker once and he said you should only check them once a month or you'll end up suiciding

it can't even tell the difference between things that are true and things it hallucinated 1 microsecond ago

>"don't chase"
>buy thing going down
>"don't try to catch a falling knife"
Shit's mathematically random and the only dumb thing anyone can possibly do is try to make sense of it.

people laugh but it's real. people an hero over stocks all the time. I was reading a post by some kid in the UK on a different website a couple of days ago where he was talking about trading and how he's trying to make it for his family and all that. couple of days later find out he killed himself. this shit is brutal on some people. how many anons that were in here in 2020 and 2021 when it was easy money ended up doing something like that in 2022? probably more than one. don't take this shit too seriously, anons

Weird projection. I like AI. I'm just not delusional about its capabilities.

i used a chatgpt generated half marathon training plan, followed it up basically 80% and placed in top 10% of my age bracket in the race

sad!

Then idk why you're making such sweeping exaggerated generalizations like in your last post. Obviously you must realize it is stunningly intelligent and useful 95+% of the time.
>>
>Google down 2% today
damn
if you miss the initial pump you're basically fucked, huh?

huge FOMO in 2024/25 because he didn't have it anymore either

he went from the most gregarious life of the party guy to an incel like me
kind of amazing what the wealth effect does to people

I was wondering why SPX was going down for a moment. Chart looks way too much like going up. Classic trap
