>The department is also planning to reduce regulatory burdens on airlines and ticket agents by writing new rules detailing the definition of a flight cancellation that entitles consumers to ticket refunds, as well as revisit rules on ticket pricing and advertising.

so yes, volatility and bagholding should be expected when you're buying a microcap (~$20 million market cap)
usually you want to stay out until they're actually executing and yeah i may have been a bit early on NXGL, but i got impatient and the fact that they have AbbVie as a customer tells me they have a real business model at least
they achieve 100% yoy growth from last year because they're only operating at like 15% capacity right now, last year it was only 4%, if they can execute even to ~25% capacity they should be able to get to positive cashflows (on paper the company will still see losses because of depreciation of equipment etc)
again i think it might be too early to get in, thats why I also bought other stuff like CXDO and IDN, but it'll be too late to buy back for cheap if they show +100% YoY growth again next year, they can scale up fast once more orders come in

honestly these tickers will probably be my last individual picks before i heavily liquidate back into index etfs/cash, i have enough for it to snowball on its own

also ai dashcams got dunked on this week coz of the divorce
>The Reporter’s sale was undertaken to satisfy marital separation settlement agreement obligations and personal debt. Canaccord Genuity Corp. and Raymond James Ltd., underwriters in the Company’s recent $11.5 million bought deal financing, facilitated the sale of the Common Shares in the Transaction to institutional and retail shareholders.

i thought back in May, the marital separation was done (the wife got like 1 million shares and the ceo kept 9 million shares), that was while ai dashcams was only 40 cents
Looks like the wife got mad and went back to the lawyer when ai dashcams hit past $1.50 just a few months later . l m a o

Sure, and that'll let you avoid the ETF fees. I get paranoid about crypto wallets and wouldn't really want a significant portion of my wealth inside one, so the fee is worth paying from my perspective. But I just don't understand why I'd buy a corporation that generates fake revenue by holding BTC when I could instead hold an ETF that just tracks it directly.

Honestly. I suspect that the main gamble on the "treasury company" LARPshit was the hope that we'd see "strategic crypto reserves" by relevant nation states by now. Which of course haven't materialized yet and likely will not materialize any time soon.
With the hopes and dreams for a strategic crypto reserve in the US very likely came the fantasies of lending crypto to the Fed or US treasury and receive USD(x) as yield with near zero counterparty risk.
It kind of feels like the magic is gone at the moment.
The next story, fantasy, hope for the next hype cycle has yet to materialize.

>>
>>60896986
I could actually see this happening, but it feels a lot less likely with Elon out of politics. Trump is a tech-illiterate boomer and I doubt he'd be interested on his own.
But even then, surely there would be an ETF taking advantage of such a loaning program? It doesn't exactly require a lot of administrative overhead to stake crypto.
>>
>>60896939
i meant Bitcoin itself either ETF or your own custody. i'm not an MSTR investor, even though i like Saylor Moon
>>60896943
they have STRC, STRF, STRD, STRK. they are kind of positioned as alternatives to things like junk bonds, corporate bonds, and money markets. STRC in particular has like a 90T total addressable market. It's designed to be pegged to $100 by raising the dividend, currently 10%, when it's below $100 and issuing new shares when it's above $100 and or lowering the dividend. the idea is that you can park your money in it, it shouldn't move much, and pay a monthly dividend. TAM of money market funds is like 90T and none of them pay 10%. whenever they issue more, they buy more bitcoin. the downside is that they need to dilute MSTR to pay the dividend, but would potentially accrete more bitcoin to each MSTR share.

a stoploss? no im selling/trimming out right, you cant do stoplosses on volatile garbage like this, it'll trigger at x point but you'll actually fill at -10% and it goes back literally the same session back to +0%. Iinstitutions are buying in already at $1.20 and now $1.60, it's just the beginning but hard to justify the risk-reward over index ETF the higher it goes so im happy to sell/trim gradually up until summer 2026

>>60897493
Why not use your savings instead and not have any interest to pay at all? What kind of interest does the loan carry and what does the savings account pay?
>>
>>60897493
Do you mean a bank loan or an imaginary loan? Like I took 7k from savings, I'm going to put that money back every month on a schedule?

I personally just save up the 7k towards the end of the year and dump it in on January.
>>
>>60897508
a bog standard index ETF returns 10% a year. it makes perfect sense to borrow at even 6% to buy it as long as you have the cash flow to cover the interest. plus if you pay back a one year loan in monthly installments, you cut the interest accrued almost in half.
>>
>>60897508
>>60897510
It's a pretty high personal loan from my bank, the loan duration is about 5 months because I make the first and last payment a bit more. I don't know what the interest for my savings account is, so it can't be much. I have 100k in my Roth from doing this. The couple hundred bucks I pay in interest, in my opinion, is nothing compared to getting into the market early
>>
>>60897522
Well I wouldn't do that, but hey if you want to give the bank money when you don't have to, well that's fine with the bank.

Don't you already have 10k in savings? Since you can also treat the Roth like a savings account for the amount you put in, doesn't it make more sense to just move the maximum 7k from your savings first thing? A loan isn't even necessary, you have the money right now

>>60897440
look at your state laws, is the roth protected from creditors, generally 401ks and IRAs are (this is for asset protection). The 401k/IRA/Roth can be funded with earned income so you need some kind of employment to fund them. You can put in the entire annual amount the first working day of the year so you can earn as much interest as possible on the full amount. I do not have a roth, but I believe you have to wait five years before you can withdraw any money tax free (since you already paid income tax on it), but only the money you put in, any gains are restricted until you are 59.5 (double check on this). There are different advantages to each, be sure you understand them all and maximize them. You can also borrow from your IRA/Roth and pay yourself interest - be your own bank. Make sure you learn all the rules and get rich.

No one can give you serious financial advice without knowing more about what you got and what you are doing, and do not give out that kind of info online. Find a certified financial planner and set up and appointment and develop a short term, mid-term and long-term plan for smart investing. Many of the ETFs have the same stocks in different percentages and therefore different risk/reward profiles. Any levered ETF can lose you big money if you get the timing wrong. Do not just buy and ETF, understand the ETF or ETFs you are considering.

That is the worst thing someone in your position can do. You do not need to buy anything from them, they can develop a plan for you. You can wipe your ass with it you want. Of course they will suggest you buy certain funds so they get a commission. You seem inexperienced and need to start with the basics - do not lose money, do not invest in shit you do not understand. You seem to have a few bucks saved up, don't throw it away. Call your broker, who ever it is, and see if they can work up a financial plan for you based on your specifics.

I am not sure what you mean with this? You should see an attorney about proper business structures so you can protect your assets (LLC and S corp) have a business brokerage account and 401k that you pay yourself and can get matching contributions and also invest with your 401K account. You need a plan to protect your assets, to write off expenses, that you control, and file proper taxes so you do not get raped by IRS or some ambulance chasing attorney. If you already have a business then talk to your broker about having the business open account with the proper name and EIN and not in your own name, depending on how your business are organized.

instead of hydrograph i bought hydrogels since it's still <$20 million market cap

it's only making $11 million ttm revenues right now but that's a 100% YoY from last year so at least they've proven they can scale fast since even right now they're only operating at like 18% capacity, and they should be positive cashflow without diluting more *unless* they do more acquisitions (1st and 2nd capital raises were to acquire 2 different brands, and 3rd was because the beauty brand they acquired was growing faster than expected so they needed more cash)

i dont like that it's not profitable yet but thats usually unavoidable with small companies that are growing, i only bought since the management is debt-averse which makes sense, better to avoid debt when you're not even positive cashflow yet

why would you pay $500m+ for a company that has no proven revenues or scalability yet

thats gonna be in 7 months

can hydrograph name their customers because hydrogels already has
>stada
>cintas
>abbvie
>owens & minor
>medtronic (coz they dont wanna take their own run offline to make other hydrogels)

kinda slow though honestly, last year they were only at 4% capacity now theyre like 18%, so next year maybe 30% capacity and so on
Gonna take like 5 years before they can even consider increasing capacity
>>
amazing that people were buying/holding this in 2021-2022 at like $10million market cap when it only had $2 million revenues

and now they have $11 million revenues ttm and the market cap only increased to ~$20 million valuation when just setting up a similar facility would take $10 million plus 2 years time.
Their first mover advantage cannot be underestimated when big companies like Abbvie went to them simply because there was no alternative (Medtronic has the capability to do it but they can't take their own run offline for their specific product)

i wonder if i should buy more after i trim my other stuff but ill give it a couple more quarters before i do that

good night.

>You should be deciding on both calls AND puts
I suck at puts. Best for me to slurp a down day with some calls, than predict a down day.

So I take it this means a red day, right?

>apartments near me
>2000 dollars for a studio
>or 1500 for 1bd 1 bath
I thought studio was supposed to be unfurnished and shitty. It's crazy how the bottom tier garbage is all inflated now due to retard business decisions. Anyway I can't afford to live here or anywhere, this is great.

Studio only refers to it being mostly all in one room. You can have furnished and unfurnished studios, same as one bedrooms.

I pay about $800 a month for a two bedroom with a basement. Hour drive to work though in Pennsylvania.
>>
>>60898216
nope most shitty apartments are studios but not all studios are shitty, its an architectural term, they can even be multi-floor with lofts
