>dotcom bubble
Here's the thing though the dotcom bubble was actually somewhat profitable, just not as profitable as promised. All throughout the time ecommerce was actually generating wealth and not just sinking costs for venture capitalists or investors as a whole. The returns so far on AI right now are not looking anywhere close to being as profitable as the dotcom bubble was. Can investors and venture capital even keep this bubble going that long if AI isn't generating good enough value based on its returns over costs? Also, I feel like boom and bust cycles happen quicker these days compared to the past. This is the /nu-market/ after covid.

>Warren Buffetts friend (Howard Marks) said Mag 7 is actually expensive
>but it has actual that amount of value which can make it rise again even if the price falls.

So they are truly good companies. But SP500 minus the mag7 are mediocre companies with valuation pulled up because of the passive investing and they are expensive compared to mag 7 as they are mediocre.

Should I believe Marks and just buy Mag7? or should I just buy more BRK.B? or maybe dividend stonks? I am lost.

Here is my first tarot spread for next week in SPX:
>Theme card: The High Priestess
My first major arcana draw and it's a tough one. She is the guardian of secrets, intuition, and the subconscious. She warns against chasing headlines and favors intuitive plays. I am supposed to look inside and trust my gut here, I feel like the week is going to be green overall.
>Monday: Nine of Pentacles
This card radiates self-sufficiency and refined stability, suggesting a serene market day where SPX holds steady without dramatic swings. Expect for dips to be bought.
>Tuesday: Eight of Swords
This card screams restriction and mental traps, often manifesting as stagnant, frustrating indecision where potential moves feel blocked. I expect SPX to chop/crab, it might not respect the usual support, resistance levels or reverse out of nowhere. I read it as a day to stay away from intra-day trading.
>Wednesday: Page of Swords
The card depicts a poised figure gripping a sword amid swirling winds, symbolizing alert, analytical energy. It's proactive symbolizes exploration: Eager to cut through fog, gather intel, and test boundaries, but with a risk of haste or scattered thoughts.
My expectation is we break outside Monday's Tuesday's range, might be to the downside or upside or both. My intuition tells me, the day will overall be positive, although it could fade EOD
>Thursday: Four of Cups
This card typically symbolizes apathy, disinterest, and missed opportunities. I think we might get a red day with a buyable support level but it will be on us if we don't take the opportunity to buy the dip, if we stay away disinterested, we won't be rewarded later on.
>Friday: Six of Wands
The card depicts a rider on a white horse, laurel-wreathed and waving a wand topped with victory garlands, cheered by a crowd—symbolizing public success, recognition, progress, and riding high on achievements.
I expect a positive day, at least +1% green, volatility and lots of energy.

yes thats why it's not even a bubble yet, shit ai stocks get sold down save fir few hype exceptions
if we were in a real bubble, oracle wouldnt have been in a pattern of controlled selling (prob gonna bleed down to +9% only after its +40% spike) by all the institutions who hold it. all the institutions are following the same set of rules, megacaps market is expensive but ultimately just following valuations based on cagr and they do get sold down (for now) if it outpaces too far out
for the record nvda still has a double digit pe even after going 10x just to illustrate that growth. it is "fully" valued or priced in as people would say, but you need much more than that to be a real bubble. Oracle broke out into bubble territory but again would prob get sold down under $270 or something just under expensive priced in valuations, but not bubble, thats why trying to stock pick bigger companies is hard because you re at a huge disadvantage as a retail fag if you have ni connections to institutional wagies to undestand what valuation rules theyre all playing with

if u dont know how to filter for decent profitable *and third party verified* and ps<5 and yoy>50 then idunno what else to tell you, just stay on sideline with cash, it s easier to just win by buying the crash rather than risk getting duped by an ai scam with no revenues
>>
>>60938987

>>
>>60938987
and ill spoonfeed u

if u actually tracked the cagr, it only started outpacing sustainable business growth around 1997 , it was already expensive by then but expensive =/= bubble

it is expensive right now theres no doubt, you should still have hedges right now because if we dont break out into bubble territory, a -30% correction back to mean would still be financial ruin
at the same time, bubbles are lucrative, that doesnt mean just buy index fund leverages in a bubble, it means you have to be picky and manage ur risk, eventually you can short when it s obvious like with oracle, look at that consistent controlled selling because of all the institutional ownership
dont do the same thing on smaller companies like open because the risk is too high, dumb retail can just pump it irrationally and ruin you
or just raise cash you dont need to actively short
>>
>>60939010

Bubbles are based on valuations and sentiment. We were already well into bubble territory when every normie in the world was talking about GME and that was almost five years ago at this point. NVDA, the AI bubble sweetheart, has had similar returns as CSCO, the dotcom sweetheart, at the peak of the dotcom bubble. If it quacks like a duck and looks like a duck then its a duck.

If you need to need to sperg out with convoluted numerics about how its ackshually not a bubble yet when every normie in the world has ChatGPT for a gf now then you're deep in denial and dare I say, coping HARD.

Covered call advertising high yield ETF are not going to beat the market.
You can sell low delta covered calls on your own SPY/SPX or any other stocks you carry low risk to make some extra $. If the underlying booms you roll. It is fine to sell covered calls on long term invests.

>Should I move my TSP
Verify the details of the plan to understand the requirements (can you leave the money in there if you change employers, do they charge any fees that will drain it or slow growth, what is the money invested in now and what options do they provide/allow, or is just cash) and most important, if you decide to move it you may be able to ROLL it into another retirement acccount so you do not pay taxes and penalties as you would if you withdraw it early. You can have more than one retirement plan/account depending your employement histroy (chaning employers over time, more than one employer at a time), each plan has its own benefits. For your existing plan verify the minimu age to withdraw funds without penalty. Some plans like the 457(b) do not have a minimum age of 59-1/2 like the 401(k), you can with draw money once you leave the employer. If you get another job with another government agency that offers a 457(b) plan check to see if you can roll the TSP money into the 457(b) plan then if you needed some money later but before 59-1/2 you may be able to withdraw it without penalty. Just udnerstand what options are available to you so you can make the best decsions for you.

My grandparents used to go to a kroger 10 years ago when they were still alive. It always had past expiration food that was on sale. That's why they liked it. Actually reminds me of a funny story. My grandfather and his 7 siblings lived in such grinding poverty they kept the coals burning all night. One night the house burned down and my grandfather's youngest brother died in the fire.

Decades later he was a g11 for the government, his two oldest brothers had a net worth in the 10s of millions and had art collections they'd donate to the moma in new york to get tax write offs. At my great grandfather's wake they all got drunk on whisky and started fist fighting. Ceos and bureaucrats and men who moved the world, 5 drunk brothers giving each other black eyes while their dad's corpse was in the other room.

And then there's me, working in a bank filing loan reports for idiots with shit credit.

What I'm tryna say is- fuck america.

>black woman at work
oh lawdy. You should know all minorities and women have been conditioned to believe they are victims of the angry white man. No matter how many free passes, promotions, pay raises you give them they don't deserve they only see racism by whitey holding them back even if a black person denies another black person a promotion, its whitey's fault. My old supervisor (this was about 2007) told me he interviewed two black women for an admin job in his program. He hired one of the black women, and the other black women filed a discrimination complaint. The HR rep who investigated was a blind black women who found that he discrimianted against the other black women because he did not also hire her. Yes, true story. I have seem many similar examples.

PE isn't the end all be all. Its possible NVDA has high earnings because of its institutional customers. I haven't read up on dotcom bubble enough to know its intricate details, but the AI bubble is weird in that the product is out there and is ubiquitous everywhere but there is still a huge asterisk as to its utility and industrial application and it has brought in very low returns relative to expectations and investment. If this leads NVDA's institutional and state-level customers to realizing that they're being scammed then the first domino will have fallen.

In other words, PE is low because the product has already been sold so to speak, but if the customer is unhappy with the product then he won't buy it again which is what will cause the bubble to burst. Don't let the low PE fool you, there is still a MASSIVE amount of revenue at stake.

AI contributed more to our GDP last year than consumer spending. But 95% of all AI has been completely unprofitable.

So there is the potential for a crash. Like, to use your dot com example, NVDA would be the company selling websites to everyone. Sure there is insane money being made but if the actual websites/ai isn't profitable nothing says it can't just stop and dry up suddenly

I’m going to go at it again because nobody seemed interested the other day, but we don’t live in either capitalism or socialism. We inherited a corporatist global order from the era of the world wars, and we’ve been having a hard time shaking it off, which is the background reason as to why the left and right are so polarized nowadays.

I don’t think there is any penalty for rolling over into a new IRA. I just personally don’t want to start from scratch with retirement planning at 30. I’m not the brightest investor as my entire nw is in Link, gold, and silver. I was thinking 60/40 S&P/IBIT please tell me if i’m retarded.

>penalty for rolling over into a new IRA
you wrote "move" not roll over, so I specified roll over. Yes, you can fuck up the roll over by having the first plan administrator send the check to you thinking you will deposit into a new IRA. You need to check that you have the first plan administrator send the check/transfer the funds directly to the new plan (IRA) administrator so its not seen as an early distribution and get penalized. Consider the options/investments your current plan has, and if you are going to ROLL that into an IRA that you set up, and how you will invest that money going forward for returns for your retirement. Compound growth can be very powerful given enough time. If/when you get a new job be sure you understand all the retirement plans they offer, if more than one, if they match contributions, what investment options they have, and if you can use a broker also with more options. For years I did not know my plan allowed me to use a brokerage for more investment options, but that the employer had limited some of those options for the employee protection (no penny stocks, no options). You can set up almost anything you want in your own IRA. Be sure to know the difference between your IRA and the employer 401k/457(b) or whatever they have.

Hi guys, retard here. Question. When the dollar collapses, will the Euro necessarily collapse with it? Thanks
>>
>>60940873
Everything will take a shit. Debt is held between countries and the world central currency collapsing causes problems for everyone. The solution will be a new global currency and maybe style government because normies are retardo mundo faggots.
>>
>>60940873
International currency is mostly linked, theres few currencies disconnected from the US dollar's performance, US dollar goes, it drags everything to the ocean floor with it

The better question is when did a European countries economy not collapse when the US did.

>great recession

>80's crash
both fucked
>oil embargo
both fucked
>great depression
German economy boomed

So no EU will collapse same as the US. Only those economies isolated and on a different footing will be fine, like Russia, Iran, North Korea.

>design or by nature that all women became whores thanks to the internet and social media?
Both. Planned destabilization takes advantage of natural interests/desires and emphasize those in movies, music, vids, books, social media to make fads and get people to follow them with out knowing they are being led. I recall years ago when tattoos started to become popular, with blue highlights in women's hair, low rise pants, thongs sticking out, and tramp stamp tattoos. I was at the gym one day and every women had low rise pants, thongs, tramp stamps showing, then they realized everyone one had it and suddenly high waist pants become popular to hide the tramp stamp, be the opposite of low rise, then all the women got fat with big fat assess and gyms put in the squat rack and ass building machines. Its easy to lead women from one fad to the next, then straight men follow for the sex.

1,000x more paper gold than real gold, that is how they suppress the price. Lots of fraud investments say buy paper gold and convert to real gold when you want, but you can't because there is not enough to go around. Notice how they never audited fort knox? Hmmmmmm

Generally the purchase of precious metals has always been tied in with a deep distrust of government and banking. The money under the pillow types. Just with physical gold they know it will hold value even when the currency is worth nothing. It doesn't help that their is more gold in ETF trading than physical gold on the planet. Adding to the distrust. Given if everyone wanted the actual gold those ETF funds would crash.

Hispanic women are good stuff. They are pretty emotional but that's women in general. The stupid and unfortunate thing about hispanic women is they love causing drama even over stupid shit sometimes. Those spanish/mexican soap opera romance novels are all centered around hot hispanic women who fucking go around starting shit between men with her pussy and crazy womenly bullshit. Hispanic women legit live for that shit.

I'm just tired of being sidelined. Once again I'm thinking about how I could have made like 40k holding that shit over the past month, or could have made another 10k on another holding another asset a little longer/selling at the right time.

I've made nearly 30k over the past few weeks, gaining cash faster than I ever did in my life, but then I realize I was broke as fuck before.

In the last week there was another thing that did a 3.5x and I was smug trading it for 200 bucks in profit with small amounts until I realized I could have thrown 8k in and made over 20k in 3 days because I was too much of a pussy.

In the past I was terrified of giving all gains back to the market- and still am- but I can afford to lose 4000 dollars and still be gaining constantly, but 8000 bucks in the right thing could be 40,000 dollars in the next month or so if it runs 5x. I need to stop being a fucking pussy and getting sidelined. If I could just not be sidelined on the good stuff, or be too cautious on a sure thing, I could actually get somewhere.

i mean a quick google search shows that gold etf's are regulated by
>Securities and Exchange Commission
>Commodity Futures Trading Commission
>IRS
and then GLD itself uses JPMorgan Chase as its custodian and stores it in London which means we can add the UK's:
>Prudential Regulation Authority
>Financial Conduct Authority
>Bureau Veritas Commodities
and then the sponsor World Gold Trust Services does regular random audits
>>60940953
I've never googled it but it's actually really funny how much shit goes into making sure the gold they store is actually legitimate and it's not being lost to fraud. With two organizations doing two counts per year (total four) and apparently it also does a complete bar count every single year

I've always heard gold fags say they don't trust it but it seems really funny how literally central banks and corporations and countries will store their gold there and the assload of checks on all of it and its just magically supposed to be all fake at all those levels

I did know that, from brazilian women mostly, but my experience on euro women is that instinctively think they are better than you unless they think you're foreign, I don't know if its a self defense mechanism or just the ones i've meet were mostly bitches, but it's all fake, layered with a princess complex and jealously towards no european women (unless they can think of their friends as a pet). This contrast is making it harder on me not liking this one 1st generation cuban girl.

>Maybe that's true, but I'm telling to the average American there is no difference.
This isn't true at all. If a spic is like 70% black, you'll assume they're black not spic. If they're 70% indigenous from guatemala then they're your cleaning lady/potentially going to get impregnated by an Austrian, if they're 70% white you'll probably see them as someone like Eva mendes or selena gomez. All of these are explicitly different phenotypes simply because genetics will push them towards spaniard, indigenous or black depending on what they mostly are. And if they are mostly white, I want to breed them so their kids come out whiter.

Yes, its a milestone, but you are engaged in a process to make more money to protect the money you have as inflation slowly eats away at the value of the money you already made. Give you self a high five, and continue on. Making money is a business, treat it as such, little to no emotion, cold calculating risk management.
