Oops... I could've got it for a dollar, and from the looks of it there's 8-10 grams in those handles - they're filled but the outer shell alone is usually like 10 grams sterling.

>Silver has gone up nearly 2 dollars the past week
It's amazing to see how many people are used to old price action in this thread. It's percentage growth, not dollar growth, so that 6 dollars we need to 50 is literally nothing, it's 3 weeks of the growth we've seen last week.
60-70 EOY if there's not a significant pullback.

Stop looking at dollar growth, look at percentage growth.

China is encouraging foreign countries to keep their gold in China, this would by like the vault at the NY Fed during the Bretton Woods era where countries kept their gold in the US and balance of trade payments in gold were simply moved from one cage to another.

Looks like China is moving closer and closer to establishing gold as the neutral reserve asset, replacing the US Treasury.

Rush for Physical Metals at Record Highs

Our Bullion Center in Singapore is experiencing unprecedented demand even as precious metals hit record prices.

The foot traffic at our center has been relentless, with queues forming throughout the day. People are buying aggressively rather than selling, when conventional wisdom says they should be taking profits.

We're seeing three clear patterns emerge:
1) High-net-worth individuals and family offices are making substantial allocations to physical gold.

2) Regular investors are converting their savings into precious metals.

3) First-time buyers entering the precious metals market, who've been watching from the sidelines but now realize waiting is riskier than acting.

Despite their different backgrounds and entry points, everyone walking through our doors has reached the same conclusion: holding depreciating dollars makes no sense. They're rational actors responding to monetary reality.

Physical gold and silver provide the only true escape from a system designed to erode purchasing power.

Alright boomer microdick retard dicklet faggot zoomers, listen up. Silver is fucking worthless. It's literally dumped 90% since last year and won't stop any time soon. The thing about silver is that there's more than 100x as much in the ground as there is gold (which is also worthless), and its "industrial uses" are massively overrated because copper outclasses it for any conceivable use. Silver is going to zero, you'll be able to get it for free off of craigslist soon enough if you're willing to go clean it out of dejected stackers' houses and transport it away. Furthermore, asteroid mining operations will be up and running by 2030 and they will QUADRUPLE the supply. But let me guess, you think there's gonna be a big economic collapse - well SURPRISE you doomer dicklet underage faggots, you can't eat silver and you'll be trading your 10oz bars for lighters and bowlfuls of rice. That is if nobody breaks into your house and shoots you for your shiny rocks, or the government doesn't kick down your door and take it when they implement CBDCs. You've been brainwashed by kikes who want to get their hands on your cash, and you better realize it before it's too late and you're left with kilos and kilos of shit-metal that will be rusty and corroded long before it appreciates enough for you to recoup the premiums you've paid.

>copper outclasses it for any conceivable use.

The hard infrastructure of the Ai era consists of:

-Semiconductor interconnects

-Data center server racks

-Crypto mining rigs

-Quantum processors

-Solar panels

-Military radar and targeting system

Every one of them runs better – cooler, faster, more reliably— on silver. And every one of them becomes slower, hotter, and dumber when forced to use copper.

Silver isn't a real precious metal, it has little practical use and they find tons of it in every base metal mine they open up. The size of the market is also so small that it frequently gets manipulated. The current price action is entirely due to speculation based on people fleeing to gold for safety because of 'the silver ratio'. It's still down over 50% from its ATH when you adjust for inflation because its real valuation is closer to copper than gold.
>>
>>60981631
>Ai slows down: GPUs designed for silver lose thermal and signal integrity. Latency creeps in. More heat = more cooling = more energy = more cost.
Use reversible logic gates. Just like how new panama canal locks use water saving basins to recover precious water, reversible gates recover 90% of electric power used, slashing power/cooling needs and also allowing exponentially faster chips (think terahertz)

>Crypto rigs become uneconomical: Hash rates drop. Power bills rise. Copper's resistance kills ROI. Small miners go dark.
The previous solution also fixes crypto. Also crypto is ghey and will go up in smoke when the next coronal mass ejection arrives

>Energy system degrade: Solar panels become less efficient. Every watt lost to copper resistance is a watt stolen from the grid.
We already have more solar than is needed. Also silver free panels (using printed aluminum traces) already exist and will be far more affordable when silver goes above $1000

>Military tech malfunctions: Silver's superior conductivity is critical in radar, avionics, and battlefield sensors. Copper can't keep up without size, weight, or power tradeoffs.
Military trends now go toward overwhelming your opponent with masses of cheap disposable tech. What is the point of your $10 million tank when it gets taken out by several $500 drones?

There they pay Chinese workers below minimum wage so they can afford to mint Silver Eagles at 50% of spot!

Don't worry, the U.S. Mint signed extraterritorial agreements with Beijing so those Silver Eagles were technically minted from "US sourced" silver (mined with Uyghur slave labor) on "US territory" (former Wuhan virus lab)

>>60982412

Think of it like a flow of energy. All the credit that’s been issued. If it’s abused and not allocated productively. It’s collapses (defaults). So what’s the price. It depends on how many paper promises that can’t be honoured “flow” back to gold for safety. Two things to remember (very simplified)

If there’s a billion unfulfilled promises not honoured. Holders of that note will sell and buy gold. And gold is now a billion.

Two. And this is important. While moneys value in this case never changes. It’s just the base unit. Gold as defined in the units the system pays people for their hours of Labor soars. Sooo. While gold never changed in relation to gold. It soared in the units that labour is paid in. And given that the system will NEVER start paying people in gold (how else would they skim the people?). The net effect is the energy or value of the credit loss. Flows to gold holders and becomes a plus sign. You hold the same 20 ounces. But now it buys a great house and not a car.

TLDR. It’s not just preservation of your wealth. It’s in the context of everyone else’s purchasing power being destroyed. And so the price of everything in relation to your gold falls. And gets magnified by the deflation and depression effects.

And like you can replace copper with aluminium in electrical wiring as happened in the 70s due the Vietnam war sucking up the supply. It just doesn’t work in the end. I won’t do into detail but elements have their properties and some properties are indispensable for some applications

Yes. And of course. If silver hits 200 an ounce. You can get there will be capital allocation to see it more can be done with copper. And maybe there is. But price pushes innovation. And what’s your point? That old fucks think it’s raining money at 3700 an ounce? When they remember an ounce being 100 bucks? But they can compute. That priced in gold. Most things have plummeted due to economies of scale and automation. And that for for things that can’t be compressed industrially as much. Like the cost of a college education. An average house. Things cost roughly the same in gold. And 3700 ain’t shit. It’s their confidence in the dollar value which was bullshit but masked by these efficiency gains that’s confusing them. So they are selling their gold and silver cheap. In their heads. 3700 seems wild. Probably because they don’t work anymore. Don’t have a house to pay for anymore by a husband that’s dead. Don’t know the cost of their fat obese asses to the state in pills and doctors bills because they are being sponsored by the young who are being pummelled with death so they can add two miserable years to their fat Karen mutt lives. This is also why I stay away from fractional gold, it's just pure judaism. If they wanted to make all of their gold 1/10th ounce it would cost them almost nothing at the end of the day.
>Oy vey, it's a fractional, it's really hard to make and manage!
They make silver 1/10th ounce coins for like 3 bucks above spot (each), making it out of gold doesn't add 50 dollars to the price of manufacturing. If anything, fine silver is harder to work since you have to worry about milk spots and the like.
If it seems like judaism I just don't buy it.

I know like 2 boomers maybe who are actually interested in the stuff, with the rest of them just dumping 99% of their net worth into the stock market or houses. Houses are the peak-boomer asset, they have to be maintained, give a lower rate of return except for in the past couple years, and they're extremely non-liquid.

Boomer rocks really are just cowboy currency or something, the vast majority of boomers aren't interested and would rather work a 9-5 investing maybe 15% of their pay after taxes. So far I've had better luck talking zoomers into it.

Messaged the seller with straightforward questions and I got surprisingly decent answers.
Bars are copies made to look like Scottsdale Mint's Archangel Michael 1oz. Composition is "is made primarily of silver but also contains a small amount of copper".
But don't worry the "silver plating and appearance remain authentic"

Naturally the eBay listing doesn't mention it's a silver plated bar of copper. Chinks eh?

>industrial shortage of silver will not be a thing in the future, because industry will stop using silver because it is too expensive
It’s not too expensive at this exact moment, which is why industrial consumption of silver is increasing year over year. It will be too expensive in the future, and by then it’ll be too late. If it’s “on sale” right now due to shorting/paper supply, then now is the best time to buy. Or rather, last year lol. Every ounce that I’ve bought is now higher in price.

And one more from tonight. I've been looking for one of these baddies for AGES, no matter how big some dealer's "world coins" stacks are, they never have the Russian coin with the Steel worker on the anvil. I think it's a Kopek? The guy (same dude that sold me the Jesus coin) didn't want to sell it at first, but I was brutally honest and said I really wanted it. So he sold it to me for $50. Not bad, they're a lot more on ebay especially in nice condition.

I know it’s beaten to death but going on the gold or any other financial subreddit is mindblowingly vapid. Hell just the whole site is:
- well ACHTUALLY the US govt said this data so you’re wrong
- someone makes an argument who is famous and then the most upvoted comment is an ad hominem attack rather than addressing the argument

It becomes unclear whether someone is a shill or just genuinely dull and lacking introspection.

The context was a post where Peter Schiff said that the stock market measured in gold (real) rather than dollars tells a very different story. I kid you not a single post had a substantive argument against his (Schiff’s) thesis. A snarky comment saying “well I guess I pay my landlord in fake money” and another saying “Ah yes, that man has predicted 47 of the last 3 economic downtowns. Quite an expert, to be sure.”
Low quality ad hominem rather than addressing the arguments.

These posts all have a good amount of upvotes too. FUCK

Some are more than others. You might meet someone who is very based in one aspect of his life and an NPC in other areas.

I knew an older lady, self made millionaire, started in the steel industry. She had some capital and noticed that farmland was selling for very cheap (during a recession) and she calculated that with the increasing population, that land would be worth something, so she bought LOTS of farmland, made huge money renting it out.

She took EVERY SINGLE COVID JAB that was recommended by her doctor. She is dead now.
>>
>>60983944
>I can see something similar to this happening unironically especially with how things are going. Women love resources,
Women are so shitty today because they are indirectly leeching off men and don't even appreciate that fact. Affirmative action forces companies to hire women for "make work" jobs like HR. It's the male workers uncompensated productivity that pays the female wages. If a woman is a single mother, the husbands of married women are taxed to support her.

The young men working are paying taxes to fund the education of useless (forever childless) females getting useless degrees so they can go to work in useless jobs.

If we get the big crash, it will also reset the relationship between males and females. Men: Protector and provider. Women: Wife and mother.

It's no better, it's actually worse in literally every aspect he's talking about and nobody pays with crypto at all because fiat is actually better at all things listed except carrying it with you.
It's easier to pay people with gold actually, you just go to your LCS and cash out and don't declare anything to the government. With BTC literally every trading platform is tracked by the government now, you have to have some way to withdraw, too. Infinitely more difficult than either mailing your silver to some bullion store (hundreds to choose from) or going to the LCS.

I know this, I tried to buy crypto like a decade ago when it was still cheap as a kid. It wasn't possible. It's a regulated market and has been for literally 10 years.

Problem is that "bare minimum" for the military for a missile that costs 1 million might be 100,000 of silver.
If silver went to 1,000 an ounce it still wouldn't be cost-prohibitive to the military in anything really. They might scale it back, but they're still using pounds of the stuff. One torpedo will cost 1-5 million dollars depending on the weight. They will scale it back, but their "bare minimum" is spending 100,000 vs spending 100,000 (but one of these purchases gets you less, and they apply for it to be 200,000 next year)

That presumes all available silver is for sale at current spot. The only SAFE number to use is the total amount of available for sale silver at COMEX/LBMA plus the inventory that is currently available for retail sale (250 million oz?)

Comex registered + LBMA free float + 250 million oz X current spot. Someone here may have convenient access to those numbers.

I've took to putting mine in 16oz jars. Junk silver is all alloy meant to be circulated, the tiny bit of air in a glass jar I don't care about.

I was gonna drop TRVTHNVKES but the thread is too close to an end so I won't.
Damn, the planet of the apes movies (before the modern ones with GCI cringe gorillas) were so kino. I'm watching escape from the planet of the apes now and it's very much a period film, but that first scene where the apes come out of the spacecraft is pure unadultered KINO.

OK actually I can't watch the rest of this it has left the realm of real sci-fi and is now a family guy skit.
NVM, I rescind my kino claim. It's funny sometimes at least.

Well, I don't know about asteroids, but I could tell you about my hemorrhoids. Actually, I just call them ass-teroids now.

Yeah, I'm thinking silver is gonna be treated as a precious metal some time within our lifetimes, it's inevitable.
>>
>>60984796
Like realistically WITHOUT collapsing the dollar or anything, and without factoring in inflation, 700-800 dollar silver is not out of the question. It's a precious metal. Many silverfags are completely delusional, but I see the bare-minimum as 500 dollars an ounce once it actually gets treated as something precious. This is without the wacky inflation that will add massive value to it.

Silver just broke through $44 again.
Like a .44 magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world.

This is the bad part about precious metals investing. We're now officially in the storm and have to make a decision. Do you keep stacking or wait for a pullback. I'm not so confident they can kick the can this time, but I also don't want to go FOMO in at these levels.

Why? Ive heard that for decades....are you an expert or to you get your opinions from incel blogs?

>Wait for a pullback
Realistically, it's not happening. A pullback to 35 seems like a pipe dream, we're already pretty much at 45 so the biggest pullback would be somewhere around 39.
And with consistent growth and a lack of pullbacks you're pretty much equally as likely to lose money. There's no dilemma, at least not for me. You're trying to time an event to try and get 39 instead of 44.

The federal government is the main driver in the U.S. economy and they lose half of their tax receipts to interest. And the interest paid to the Fed pays for losses and they are not even remitting excess funds back to the Treasury. Debt is exponential as well so these numbers will only increase and get worse.

Holy fuck, UUUU is going on an absolute tear this last month. It was under $4 like a month ago and now it is $18
