I made my first investment last night. $400 into VOO and $100 into VUSB
When should I start investing in gold?
>>
Because you should have bought them a month ago if you wanted to make real gains.
>>
>>61000057
I already bought a few. One of them went up 63% since I first bought it.
>>
miner stocks as a group basically track gold price
i just buy IAU instead
>>
>>61000249
they massively outperform the base metal in every single bull market
>>
I never got into stocks. I wouldn't even know where to begin
>how are you such a low iq retard?
I was born this way
>>
Lots of research needed, I see a long list of public shares. Some stocks as low as $2

Someone gives you 1500 Jew bucks and points a gun at your head, he needs gains and he needs them fast. Highest asymmetrical risk. You fuck up? Brains are on the wall. What miner are you buying on Monday? Choose wisely

I would just get SLVR. Sure it's an ETF w/ fees, but Sprott is the best miner ETF manager on the planet

If I have to gamble everything on a single stock, AG (first majestic) all the way

Buy Australian small cap gold stocks. The following are all ASX listed and their fundamentals are easy to understand (the gist is gold price goes above $4,000 and their margins are doubling).

This will happen as money continues to pour out of US treasury bond market and into gold bullion (See China, see Russia, see BRICS attempts at a gold pegged currency).

Buy the ones of the following that you like

MAU
WIA
AUC
BCA
MI6
FAL
SMI

Some good, lower risk gold is EMR and CMM.

Save this post if you see it and come back in a year when all these stocks are up 200% as gold hits 4.5k in a year.
>>
>>61000114
Only a mega retard falls for this fud. Imagine thinking humanity will anytime soon be mining asteroids in this modern Jewish globohomo dark age we live in
>>

>they massively outperform the base metal in every single bull market

As do most non meme stocks, these guys are stacking up for a crash where metals outperform everything.
>>
>>61000700
based. have a little AG and HL outside of SILJ. Maybe ill swap the SILJ to SLVR.

In a world where logic doesn't increase stock valuations, it really is stupid to not buy miners. Tech companies with zero product at 300 P/E, miners are an easy win. In a world where people realize that miners expose you to needless risk of the company failing or being an outright rug pull versus just buying the end product, it's completely retarded to ever put a cent into a mining company.

>what’s stopping you from doing this thing that for ten years only had a 5 percent return and is now doing 80 percent and switching from your current investment strategies?
Do you people just see a line go up and you abandon whatever it was that you were doing before in pursuit of that?
>>
>>61005378
peter thiel was starting private uranium facilities or was given permit, low marketcap compared to gold, good idea

>he doesn't understand bear vs bull markets in commodities
What an absolute fucking retard
You deserve to be poor
>>
>>61000909
Not to mention it would cost billions in engineering and manufacturing only to get an asset whose price would tank if the mission were successful.
>>
>>61005730
Buddy, gold will drop 30-40 percent if the market crashes. Look at historical graphs. You also don’t know when this gold bull run will end. Switching strategies to try and milk a run in one commodity is a great way to fuck things up. It’s why most of you are poor.
>>
>>61005739
>asset whose price would tank if the mission were successful.
That’s entirely the point. Industrial usage for gold is only 10 percent but they’re paying the storage-of-value prices for it. You guys are really silly if you think society as a whole would willingly choose to keep something scarce if that doesn’t need to be the case.
>>
>>61005753
Look at the spx vs gold, it always shoots up 35-40% in a sudden panic and then comes back down, but then if stocks sell off and there's a debt crisis then people pile back in after the drop and send it even higher.
>>
>>61005825
>SPY outperforms gold
>market starts to sputter, gold catches up and beats SPY
>eventually the lines intersect again and SPY beats gold
So if you’re able to time it these events, you’d make a lot of money. But it’s easier to keep your portfolio diversified and just not touch it.
>>
>>61000125
That chart is bullish as fuck

This looks promising OP. Think I might jump on this, anything else I should know?

cos their costs go up with the gold price. most of the gold miners in my cunt last financial year lowered their guidance and some then failed to meet that. Costs were all high. Gold miners are not gold. remember that.
>>
>>61000103
Realize your gains before prices crash (and they will)
Remember: SELL HIGH
Then: when it crashes (and it will) buy that shit at a lower price.
This is how to get rich like me.
>>
>>61000057
I did
Unfortunately I had to remove/add back a problematic account, which resulted in a 40k jump earlier this year that should've been built in from the starting point
Really hope this gold bull takes me to retirement, I need about 1.25m today, but with all the inflation coming, who knows what the USD amount will be
>>
>>61007381
I've thought about this, because pullbacks always happen eventually, but seems silly to lock in a 15% tax bill for long term gains, and then hope the pull back is greater than 15%, and that you time it correctly, which is almost impossible
>>
>>61007377
>cos their costs go up with the gold price.
its the exact opposite lol
>>
Any recommended US gold/silver junior mining stocks? I've typically been buying ASX listed and done well, but want some US listed as well.

Looking for speculative (low marketcap) plays to punt on. E.g. 5-10+ bagger potential.
>>
>>61000954
Indexing is for the gays. You should be buying juniors like a chad.
>>
>>61007838
Juniors? Chads buy 0 day options on exploration companies.
>>
>>61007763
Snowline gold.
Freeman gold
Bocana Resources
>>
>>61007763
desu bocana is your best bet if you're looking for microcaps that have the potential to 50x
>>
>>61000084
Any time I bought on this promise, I been wrecked and financially raped
