If you value the relationship, you might consider not doing the "I told you so" part. It's bad enough to know that one has made a poor decision. Getting it rubbed in, just associates the bad feeling with the person who reminds them.

I've taken several good friends and put a one oz gold Maple, and a 100 oz silver bar into their hands several years ago, and suggested they consider buying some. None of them did. I will never bring up the topic again with them.

We gave my better half's sister a gold Maple over a decade ago. She insisted on paying for it (1100€) and we suggested she might buy some of her own. She replied:
>You can't eat gold.

We never brought up the subject again.

Anons thank you for great wisdom and advice over the years. I’ve finally hit my goal of 15 oz of gold. Used to feel like a lot but now I see everyone else’s fat stack from before the price started ripping and feel like I have nothing.

Alternatively, you might emphasize that although he missed the early gains silver will still go up multiples, and once he has some oz, he can do "leveraged silver" and "catch up" by buying silver miners.

This only will work if he doesn't wait until near the bubble peak, which is what most people, by definition will do.

Once everyone is buying, I'm planning on executing my exit stategies. We are months from that though.

I'd be very careful about that.
While I do think silvers rise will outpace interest, I'm very hard line about my gambles.
I'm stacking with whatever excess cash I have lying around.
Structurally, silver looks like it's going to moon.
That doesn't mean it WILL.
Just that this is the projection that makes the most sense.
I'm not offering advice.
The opposite is the case.
I'm offering a warning.
Stacking with excess you know you have means no risk.
Stacking on credit, with interest attached, is a risk I would not and am not going to take.

When the switch happens if someone with as little as 2 ounces of gold and 150 ounces of silver isn’t at least at the bottom rung of very comfortable then stacking will have not been worth it at all. If you have 15 ounces of gold and it turns out that post reset you actually need 30 ounces of gold for a home or business or whatever then it won’t be worth it really to even hold those 15 ounces you have right now.

It will literally have to be like 3 ounces at max for a nice home or none of this will have been worth it. Because who gives a fuck if you just maintain your wealth while everyone else becomes living in an RV poor?

This. Actually, if you don’t have any silver right now I think it would be wise to actually swap 2-3 ounces of your gold for silver and get 180-250 ounces of silver. I’d go as far as 5 ounces of gold. Then you have 10 ounces of gold and 400 ounces of silver. No matter what you think 10 ounces of gold is a make it stack, and 400 ounces of silver is a make it stack.

This is not a prediction, just a possibility. When silver hits $50, it might blow through, or might drop and consolidate at $48. It really depends when the mania takes off. Once the silver bull run starts, things move really fast, including the silver and the miner share prices.

I think they are neat as well. But you really have to appreciate just how expensive they really are. By the time you spend enough to have 1oz of gold in goldbacks, you paid for two.
So yea, grab a few for fun or maybe you think they will come in handy for barter. But respect the premiums here.

Yeah, I’m just about ready to settle down in WV or TN possibly. But I think there could be a small window of opportunity. Too many people overleveraged, bought too much house, or doing the landlord life. Which is great but that era is ending and people will rope. Too oblivious to realize their career is threatened by AI, not considering rising property taxes and homeowners insurance. Once people have to decide between their heating bill and electricity will be a good early indicator that it could be coming.

Has anyone gotten a mortgage in the last year? I’m curious if the terms has anything about payment being in something other than dollars (cbdc when they switch). Cause part of me wants to lock in a mortgage in jew bucks before that happens. Wut do

I’m hoping my 1770 Stinkies get me out of the system. Or my PMs. Honestly don’t wanna Jewish mortgage but that scenario playing out seems a good reason to do it

Some anon above said he tried helping friends and family. Letting them hold an ounce of silver and gold. These people say you can’t eat it. They don’t care. And everything is fucked because of them. Why wouldn’t these “elite” or Jews or whoever NOT exploit us when there are so many of them that think like this, which in turn fucks everything so bad that it fucks up our lives.

I was warning people about not getting the vaccine that whole year before it came out. Had my FB account permantely blocked after a few months. Then I see that not only are these people taking the vax but they now want the ones not taking it thrown out of society. Well fuck them all then. It wasn’t Fauci who was telling me to put my mask above my nose. It wasn’t Fauci in the streets telling people to shut down their businesses, it wasn’t Fauci getting angry at me when I said I didn’t take the vax. It wasn’t the shit for brains public that did all this. It’s them that are the danger. And none of the shit the “elite” pushed couldn’t have happened without them. So yeah, fuck them all. If I ever came across Fauci randomly I’d buy him a beer, cuz he unironically taught just how dangerous the uncouth masses are to my safety and life.

I’m actually very optimistic. I’m in general pretty happy and very affable. I just don’t care what happens to these people anymore.

>>
>>61008076
I did suggest paying the loan off early to avoid interest as much as possible. You're paying interest sure but it doesnt go to nothing, it gets you in to the door. Renting gets you the place to stay but you can't sell it, you cant modify it most of the time, and you can't keep it. Also claiming its simply an asset is disingenuous, we aren't talking about a rental property.

How's the longterm investment for US dollar looking over the long term?

Will the USA stop running deficits anytime soon?

How will the USA cover the $100-$200 TRILLION in unfunded liabilities of the entitlements promised to the retiring and retirede boomers?

Will the USA be able to find bagholders for those future deficits, or will she need to print up the money?

Will the USA losing world reserve currency status effect the value of the dollar in a negative way?

A large number of injured were people who did NOT want the jab, but were coerced by threats of loss of their job, which would result in losing their home and likely their family.

Children who were pressured to get the jab in order to go on a trip they my have been looking forward to for years.

I draw a distinction between people who took the jab under duress, and those who eagerly enforced the covid rules and supported the authoritarianism.

I was fortunate that my home was not put in jeopardy for not taking the jab, even though it meant we were essentially trapped, and unable to travel anywhere for two years.

For many of us, stacking is just one component of an overall preparedness/resilience strategy.

As is not uncommon, we have spergs with a polarity response combined with a low degree of agreeableness, possibly even dark triad, or cluster B.

When silver runs, it runs. There's plenty of stupid shit that made bigger gains, and frankly silver should be at 16:1. Thats $240 now, if it went there tomorrow I wouldn't be surprised, that would be about fucking time.

Yes, but no. Started stacking in 09. Last time it hit 40, it crashed back. But things weren't near as bad as they are now. King Nigger was in, and preppers and guns were just getting popular. Most people didn't know shit about PMs and I was on goldismoney forum.

When you sell stock at a profit, you have to pay capital gains tax at what - 28%? Plus he probably has to pay a broker's fee. It's a substantial hit. If you eventually inherit the stock, that basically zeroes out the gains made, and you can withdraw at your income tax rate - no CGT applies (except for what gains are made since the time you inherit).

Worth taking a loan out to buy another kg of silver this week?
>>
>>61008347
started stacking in mid 2009. An oz was around 750€. Got nervous when they started the quantitative easing after the crash of '08 and thought that hyperinflation was just around the corner. Put all my savings into gold. Took a break from stacking once it got too high. Started again when it came down again to below 1000€. Stopped once it reached 1200€ because that seemed crazy expensive. Never sold, so it is quite a nice stack.
So from my journey with gold I can tell you that just because you think the end is near, doesn't make it real. The next crisis will come and the next and the next. Just see them as opportunity, stay focused and flexible. Be willing to learn, adapt and don't be afraid to question your own beliefs.

Comex is largely a paper market with most traders buying and selling paper silver that doesn't actually exist. Around 800 million ounces of silver are mined every year, yet every day hundreds of millions of paper oz of silver are traded back and forth. On Friday 548 million oz were traded back and forth.

There are 995 million oz being sold short. Comex is a Jewsh casino where the house always wins, and the game continues until they run out of physical silver to deliver.

We are approaching that singularity.

There's your problem. The big guys will always charge a premium because they have such a huge customer base, while the little guys running a selling to a smaller customer base will be happier to sell for spot (or even slightly below) if it means they can turn a profit, especially given the current price trend.
Also since more people are selling than buying right now, it's actually easy to win Ebay auctions for good prices (don't expect any crazy deals though).
>>
>>61008565
>And then the fucking tax man is gonna wanna snoop around to get his grubby little hands on my profits...
If there is no record of how much you bought them for, your only option is to self declare any capital gains if you believe you made any money on the sale.
>In Canada, gold Maple Leaf coins are exempt from Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) if they meet specific purity standards. However, when selling these coins, capital gains tax applies if the selling price exceeds the purchase price. If a loss is incurred, it can be used to offset other capital gains.

You will have to think real hard and try and remember how much you think you paid for them when you originally acquired them, and then add it to your taxes for the next year.

It's all self reported.

>You can't make gasoline with nuclear power.
You can make gasoline from coal.
Gasoline can be produced from coal through several processes:
Fischer-Tropsch process. Coal is converted into synthesis gas, which is then used to produce a broad spectrum of straight-chain paraffinic hydrocarbons that require upgrading to produce diesel fuel, lube feedstock, and paraffinic naphtha for petrochemical applications.

Methanol-to-gasoline (MTG) process. Coal-derived syngas is first converted into methanol, which is then transformed into gasoline in isothermal reactors.

Direct coal liquefaction. This process does not involve a syngas step, so the liquid products require significant upgrading and cleanup for sulfur, nitrogen, and other impurities.

DME-to-gasoline (DTG) process. Coal-derived syngas is used to produce dimethyl ether (DME) in a liquid-phase synthesis reactor, which is then converted into gasoline.

>Hydrogen generated by electricity from nukes will power all weight-limited mobile machinery including land and air vehicles
You are declaring war on physics, and physics will always win.

H2 is not energy dense enough for long distance aircraft or trucks. China is using LNG in their trucks.

One analyst I follow said earlier this year he didn't think London could keep the inventory charade going for years like they did in the past. I guess he was right.

Copper has held just below $5 an oz this year. Is it the new poor man's silver?
>>
>>61008829
Yeah but im guessing the big companies min max those by selling the least desirable cheapest rounds they have, which is probably the buffalos. I would rather have cool random designs

Provident came out with that Zombucks series 2013-2015 satirizing US coinage. They started up again last year (?) with foreign coinage.
Protip: the Zombucks series remains ho-hum as a collectible. I'm not throwing good money after bad on the new line.

And Halves nots?
Have to say 329 fedbucks for 20 Franklin halves is decent pickup for the current scenario. So I did

The only way that gold outdoes other metals from those clown ass ratios in the long term is if a global crash brings all of humanity back down to barter and people need yellow to identify shiny rock. But then you might as well buy a bunch of counterfeit gold.

When people realize that most "crash" scenarios will just have you holding on to your PMs while another medium of exchange takes over instead of trading your metal for chickens, a diversified metal stack makes more sense for those than gold/silver maximalism.
