This price movement is insane... however I am still confident in crossing 50 doghairs by October 17th. Market then opens and we hodl above 50 range (maybe 52-53) and adhere the 3-day rule. After that, it's face ripping time for my Silver gorilla.

For some reason I keep blanking on hygiene.
I really need to figure out cleanliness.
If you just avoid violence and focus on staying healthy it seems like you're going to be okay.
I bet water purification would be invaluable.
In a proper SHTF you'd only need to last about a month or so before things settle down.
Just make sure you can tend to basic needs for a month and, in theory, you should be fine.
Sanitation is an obvious and critical, though often overlooked, consideration.

I have my doubts that this price movement is a squeeze through a coordinated effort. Demand is absolutely up but this would just happen due to economic uncertainty like exactly what happened in 2008. The only way price is permanent is with hyperinflation of the dollar, which looks stable (consistent) based on M2 and DXY. If any country is dumping fiat for silver though then I'm completely wrong, there would be a long term price.

$47 is a bad price. Don't really want to buy because the price isn't set. Don't want to sell either because that's not the point of hodling. A month at >$45 I'll keep buying again.

If 2008 happens, good luck everyone
>>
>>61014417
Chart suggests that 2026 is a good time to sell equities, expect a market drop. 2032 will be the bottom and a good time to repurchase equities, but sell in 2034 because in 2035 there will be a major panic, with the next major buying opportunity to be in 2039.

Everyone knows things are already starting to come apart, it's not hard to believe that the market will correct in 2026, just like it did after 2007, and just like it did after 1999, and just like it did after 1980.
>>

>>
>>61014534
>The only way price is permanent is with hyperinflation of the dollar, which looks stable (consistent) based on M2 and DXY.
The $USD lost over 10% of its value this year. The deficit isn't getting any smaller, if interest rates drop, inflation picks up, the long bond yield goes up and the Federal Reserve begins yield curve control which means printing money and buying US Treasuries. IE, printing new money to fund the government.

Inflation never goes backards, and you never get back the purchasing power your dollar loses once inflation takes it.
>>
>>61014534
Also since things never crash the same god knows what the black swan is. Probably an everything crash set off by who knows what. The US defaulting or clearing the debt by moving the world reserve currency to crypto would start something big but nobody really knows. If the AI, employment, college, housing, food, and sex bubbles aren't big enough then wtf is

>If 2008 happens, good luck everyone
The chart says to sell stocks in 2007. It says to sell stocks in 2026.
>>
>>61014560
The dollar is officially consistent, there are no good numbers but there are things to go by. If you look at the SPY with 20% YOY then the 10% inflation figure makes sense. M2 and DXY show nothing major, just the yield control from COVID printing. I can't trust anything, I gave up on predicting this stuff long ago
>>
>>61014574
Too bad the FED knows they can print away recessions now. It could be 2026, 2027, 2028, each year with 25% gains. 2026 could be too early to dump. Or just hold like a god until you're making gains again, and buy the dip

M2 looks pretty exponential to me, DXY is useless because it's just relatative ratios between fiats. If they are all devaluing at the same or similar rates, the DXY won't catch anything.

The difference happened in 2022 when the US stole Russias foreign assets. The world has been dumping US Treasuries for gold, and compare the decrease in US dollar international transactions. There is declining demand for US dollars despite the increasing supply.

You no longer have the rest of the world to sell you real things, in exchange for printed paper, and then have them buy long term US debt with that paper, effectively giving that money back to the US government.

Did you think America's free ride was going to last forever?

I'm really quite surprised the US still maintains even a little dominance. The free world is losing a lot of dominance. It's not gonna matter if we have GPUs to sell either, since we can be brutally out manufactured and unfathomably crushed when China and Russia have good currency and could just wipe us out by aiming non nuclear weapons at data centers, since that's what makes up our lame GDP lmao

US would respond with nukes because that's all they have for use against Russia. They can't invade, they can't bomb, they are a match with attack subs. US Navy and CVNs would be of little use against Russia. A coordinated attack against key transformers and power generation nodes would cripple America. Maybe attack major fuel refineries, there aren't that many and they are quite large and vulnerable.

Give Uncle Same the good ole Kiev handshake. But like I said at top, the only realistic response the US would be ABLE to make would be a nuclear exchange.

If the US is going to crash and burn anyway, why would Russia even need to do anything except wait?

G/S Ratio took a big hit this last silver pump, down to 80.
For reference, historical G/S is 1:15, demand-wise people claim all kinds of numbers but due to almost no recycling happening and silver still being costly to mine, maybe 1:8, but that ratio also moves like a goddamn glacier.
If we WERE to assume this wasn't the last one, and Gold won't just fly up there with Silver, we might well be on the way to well below 1:40, which would imply you could make some more shinies if you get some silver for your gold right now (make it 1-2 ozt of Gold to silver) in order to exchange it ALL back to gold once the ratio takes a plunge.
You'll have heard this a LOT but there is no logical reason why it hasn't happened already, the market is clowned and heeb'd. Not financial advice.

Commodities in general are great as a safe haven of investment. However, owning them physically is a much preferred way to ensure self custody. For lumber id recommend stacking some 2x2, 2x4 or even unprocessed but cured logs. For small barter you ideally wanna have a lot of sticks and sawdust.

Zero, because the dollar wouldn't just have to strengthen against the other currencies, it would have to strengthen vs commodities in general.

The dollar supply keeps growing, while dollar USAGE worldwide keeps shrinking. Most Americans don't understand how significant 2022 and seizing Russia's foreign assets was.

No foreign country the world can trust the US dollar, or dollar based assets anymore. The only people the USA can continue to dominate are Canada, Mexico and NATO countries that rely exclusively on US weapons systems. That's about 40% of the world.

America dropped a turd into the milkshake mix and a plurality of the world doesn't want to drink it anymore.

Retard, start freaking out when you start getting lower lows and lower highs or learn how to read a chart. And a small correction now would be a good thing, give us time to buy more before the next run up. The only sure thing is that they will print infinite money and inflation will go up or the market will tank and gold/silver will shoot up. Look at golds price action for the last 20 years, it's a straight line up.

It won't. The fundamentals are sound. LBMA is almost out of silver, but demand for it is increasing. The price of gold will continue to rise as central banks stock up and gold pulls the price of silver up. $4000/$50 is an 80:1 ratio.

Your biggest fear should be a systemic market collapse that takes down everything EXCEPT gold and silver. There will be unimaginable suffering and many will die.

Physical is for saving, not investing. And ETF is for investing if they can't weasel out and settle in cash, and I don't know of a single ETF where that's not the case, so yeah ETF's are a type of gambling, but stocks owners who receive royalties or dividends are "investors" not cannon fodder for fiat currencies games yet there also leveraged in counterparty risks.

because it's overbought, mix of retail fomo + retail panic because they think the world is about to end. Funny thing is i have a now large pm stack that i bought for 40% of its current price. i hold pms since 2015 and don't intend to sell, because i am the kind of person who buys pms to have a last recourse in case the whole world goes to shit and that safety makes me sleep better.

also, crypto was disapointing so all retards are rotating to pms. we have definitively entered top territory. Biz is massively shillings pms while it has been consistently shitting on pms buyers for the last 5 + years. Too many redflag. And look at the fucking chart, gold isn't a meme coin, it's not going to x10, x2 is already huge for such an asset over 2 years. You are not getting another 2x on gold from current prices before at least 1 or 2 decades

EXACTLY, the us dollar cannot become MORE worthless right now, it can only regain value. I think the governments re-evalution of the gold reserve would NEVER make the price go parabolic, thats why they are not doing it.

>it's not going to x10, x2 is already huge for such an asset over 2 years. You are not getting another 2x on gold from current prices before at least 1 or 2 decades

I don't need to because I am not distracted by (((prices))) or given to fads or branding. At the end of the day, currencies, institutions, empires, and yes, even banks come, and they go. The old saying "if everyone is jumping off the bridge, are you going to join them?" applies perfectly to your disingenuous inquiry veiled as an appeal to group-think.
The hype of the wave in a stadium of fans is your purpose of narrative. To get people to instinctively stand at just the right moment to create the wave where and when you want. This is all part of the experience of the show to you, just another operation of chaotic opertunity engineering.
Nope I am not justified by falsehoods and idolatry, or what Tom, Dick and Harry do or do not do, I just keep on stacking because I know what money is.

bear in mind the "its getting pumped by retail" argument didn't start until we hit dollar a day rises. shits been uncharacteristically rising for a year and all the fud we got for that entire time was the usual trash from the streetshitter. now we hit dollar a day and its totally not because entire countries are slurping for strategic reserves and the shitting of the usd, its all retail. new flavor of fud same brown hands that type it.
>>
>>61015941
look if you're an old fashioned autistic stacker i can respect that, i guess i am too in my own way. But the fact that everyone right now is bullish on pm should tell you that your reasoning is factually wrong, because everyone right now is looking at pms and i'm sure a new generation of bag holders is being minted right now. This won't be as bad as holding shiba inu or digital farts but still if you're going all in on this it's going to hurt and you're basically damaging your financial future just like someone putting it all on gold in 2012 would have screwed himself. Now if we're talking small amount each month you do you do.
Anything tangible is good to escape inflation. Gold, pms are fine, real estate is fine, good art is fine, and yes, carefully picked collectibles are also fine (not mc donalds pokemon cards). Bullets are fine too but i guess they expire after a while so idk.
>>
>>61015975
there is no change of tactic. you're a sheeple nigger cattle buying the top. You weren't interested in buying gold at 2Ks, and now you're fomoing and you have to resort to mental gymnastics to justify this behaviour.
The last time i bought gold was the post ukraine war dump, and i was a bit conflicted about doing it because i thought maybe i would take a 20 - 30% dump. Now trump has been there and it made things worse for the usd so i could know hat.
I wouldn't even touch gold even with a ten-foot pole but if you wanna put all your saving go ahead

>bear in mind the "its getting pumped by retail" argument didn't start until we hit dollar a day rise
"The narratives are the lies" and we're all susceptible to them. If I wanted to lie and play and live in the easy bake world of make-believe I'd be shilling cryptocurrencies with the rest of the women and prepubecent bois in imagination land.
This goes for you too fren.
>>61016002
>This won't be as bad as holding shiba inu or digital farts
If you're swayed by the hollow wind of narratives, you will not survive the gale force of the real lies. Your ship will be forced off course into the rocks or the mast broken in resistance to truth.
>A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Do not fear, but overcome fear with love, patience, and compassion in a testimony of and to truth.
The reason I stack is to be free from the lies and their influences, my stack is the anchor in this realm, an ethereal tie to the creator of this realm, and the provision of his words which are faithful and true.
There's a reason it is said that silver and gold can not die in your hands. It's not because it's living by the definition of modern scientists, but because it's useful to the living. It always has been, currently is, and always will be until this realm is no more.
I am not making arguments about finances, that's imagination land, playing house, little girl nonsense. I am asserting facts that are timeless as far as this realm is concerned. Monetary matters are the matters of men, either step up and become one or go play tea elsewhere other than pmg

How liquid are they? Say silver goes to $1k spot. Would shops be glad to buy them for $70?
>>
>>61016894
I mean i have no idea in that regard, im not in the market of buying up things from people, im in the market of buying them from bullion dealers.
But i would imagine they would if prices starting going wild. Of course your never going to get spot price of silver, you will always get a bit less. But think of it this way.

Its probably a lot easier to sell a silver dime vs trying to unload a kilo bar.

I was actually thinking about this the other day, and this is why I no longer have a gold pocket fondle piece, and sooner rather than later may have to substitute the silver pocket fondle piece for a copper piece.
Times may be changing, but it's truly nothing new in the macrocosm of this machine. Just another replay of times past.
>>
>>61016902
>Its probably a lot easier to sell a silver dime vs trying to unload a kilo bar
Absolutely. Anything I have that's 5toz+ I assume will be for larger transactions like a car or property.. I'm concerned about the liquidity of even 1toz pieces. When silver hits $1k, people will be buying junk and fractionals even more. Larger pieces will be mostly used by banks or even melted down into fractionals.

I bought a 5oz bar last week and did so because I do believe the bull thesis on silver. I also want to temper my expectations that endgame tier price moves in precious metals are probably not going to happen abruptly. Historically speaking, we could very well bounce off of $50 and drop pretty hard (as a well-timed shake out of weak hands by the shorts). That wouldn't surprise me one bit. I personally don't even think $40 is a high price for silver given that it is only the historically manipulated price that we derive our normalcy bias. I'm not sure what the point in working will even be when silver hits $250 an ounce. Will anyone even be able to pay their bills when that happens?

>Why do they do tamp? Is it the government to keep military equipment cheaper? So insiders can slurp cheapies?
They tamp to increase volatility, which makes silver unattractive to silver investors, which reduces the market cap of silver, and indirectly keeps the price down. No hedgefund manager wants to lose his job because they tamped silver down just prior to the end of the quarter.

Why tamp silver?
1. Physical silver ownership generates no recurring revenue for the Wall Street ecosystem.
2. Silver (and gold) price is a proxy for the health of the US dollar.
3. Lower silver price helps industry get higher profits which bumps their share prices up, benefiting Wall Street.
4. Higher silver prices will crowd out the marginal industrial users (ie, solar panel makers) who use a lot of silver but operate on small margins, hurting Wall Street/China

I like to ponder the value-density of a single 10oz bar of things like gold, platinum and palladium. I think at some point, people will shit their pants over things like kilos and 100oz bars of silver. It will be absolutely outside of everyone's ability to afford such a thing with their wages (except for high earners).

What's the point in working when gold hits $4000/oz? You still need to live and eat. People could have bought when silver was $5.00/oz but they weren't interested because it was so cheap.

100oz silver is more than 1 oz of gold, so we are already at the point where the average person doesn't have the spare cash to buy one.

10oz max is what the average American might have the surplus cash to afford.

People will work, but commodities and fuel etc are all going to be increasing at a time when unemployment will be skyrocketing so wages will be depressed. Most work will be enough to pay for essentials and people will be saving probably a few pieces of junk silver every week if they are lucky. It really bends the mind to consider where this is all headed. But an 80 year long misallocation of resources and stacking up IOUs that will never ever be repaid is not going to play out well for anyone.

I understand what you meant now. How can a person not be demoralized to experience their standard of living radically dropping in real time.

Rick Rule talks about keeping his SAVINGS in gold, and his liquidity in cash, and his speculative greed in silver.

Grant Williams (TTMYGH) also saves in gold, (these guys are too rich to stack silver) and points out that saving in precious metals is for two reasons.

1. PMs are an inflation adjusted form of savings that protect purchasing power from the depreciating dollar.

2. PMs are a hedge against any kind of serious crisis, financial or otherwise that may result in systemic disruption of the markets or the banking system.

As Rick Rule has often said, he does not want $12,000 gold, because that would mean something awful has happened to the system, but in the event it did, his physical gold savings would go a long way to offsetting his losses in the other markets.

A week? As wages rise and rally? Instead of ordering take-out all week? Instead of spending needlessly on entertainment?
So, let's consider this metric.
1oz a week x 52 weeks = 1 comex contact a year in physical metals x let's just say 10 years... that's 50,000 toz. From only one person in 10 years of consistent hard-core dedication to 10 toz a week.

That second one was built by Accumoto. They were a shop I went to that specialized in older air cooled 911s.

This is the car: https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1974-porsche-911-4/

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBjk_7ympS4

The owner, Mark, used to drive for APR, and that's how I ended up getting to have them used some of my vws as development cars. They merged with Kelly Moss a couple years ago, which is another huge porsche shop here. Their storage wall is jaw dropping in person (trading card fren should honestly just go look for 10 minutes one day when he has nothing better to do).

The first one with the wing is the first GT2, the widow maker. It isn't super fast by today's standards, but still has a lot of power and with it being rwd with the engine in the trunk, they're fun to drive.
