Elon Musk is a total disaster, and his reckless behavior is a perfect example of why billionaires shouldn't be in charge. He's made a career out of taking risks with other people's money and lives, and it's only a matter of time before he causes another massive catastrophe. From tanking Tesla's stock to laying off employees left and right, Musk's track record is a mess, and it's time someone called him out on it.

No it wasn't. Guess what, the big names were already around, and WERE overvalued as fuck at the time. Doesn't mean they would die, they did't, the internet was an actual gamechanger and everyone could see that. But it doesn't change that they were overvalued at the time. Everyone uses those dumb muh pets.com talking point, but they are just that, a talking point, an example to illustrate the exuberance. But that's not where the large chunk of money was misallocated. Large chunk of money was misallocated on big names, same as it ever was since the East India Company or whatever railways, same as it is today.

France.

At least the Japs have decent political stability and relatively good economic growth. Their debt is mostly held by Jap financial institutions, businesses and consumers, and thus less volatile, even at 200 (something) % of gdp.

There are African countries more stable than France. They have political deadlock, so the interior is absolutely unmanageable.
The Right won't agree to anything anyway since they feel robbed from the last elections.
The Left won't agree to anything that doesn't include increasing the burden on the wealthy more than the burden on the poor.
Their debt is relatively high for EU standards and their GDP growth is negligible.

There really is no one-shoe-fits-all. I have Fidelity, Schwab and RH. All three gain me access to different areas of ‘the market’. Access to more obscure stocks/etfs tend to happen more with Fidelity and Schwab. More
options friendly with RH but the analytics are better with fidelity.

RH has the easier normy UI. Schwab is good. Fidelity looks like I’m using MSDOS but there is more immediate data to disseminate.

Schwab and Fidelity are my growth brokers more or less. RH is more for my turn and burn plays.

DAILY MONITORING
October 07
Continued to take personal inventory. . . .

TWELVE STEPS AND TWELVE TRADITIONS, p. 88

The spiritual axiom referred to in the Tenth Step—"every time we are disturbed, no matter what the cause, there is something wrong with us"—also tells me that there are no exceptions to it. No matter how unreasonable others may seem, I am responsible for not reacting negatively. Regardless of what is happening around me I will always have the prerogative, and the responsibility, of choosing what happens within me. I am the creator of my own reality.

When I take my daily inventory, I know that I must stop judging others. If I judge others, I am probably judging myself. Whoever is upsetting me most is my best teacher. I have much to learn from him or her, and in my heart, I should thank that person.

You create your own emotional reality anon. The market will swing up and down but you can remain a steady even keel if you choose to. Learn from other traders instead of judging them harshly. Be positive and make yourself the best trader you can be.

You really haven't, I could see a sharp selloff on open to form an inverted shoulder around the $19.80 mark that would present a good entry point.

But legit with their signed contract values this is trading well below enterprise value. Fair price for this is $35 at a minimum, anything under that is buying dollars for pennies and the long term backlog which will close over the next 24 months is worth over $5 Billion or 10X their current market cap.

They are $500M market cap right now even at this price ($21.80 at time of posting) but have $1.5B in signed deals with $300M being deployed at the end of this Q alone. Earnings in 4 weeks time are going to blow my cock off and it'll only go up until then.

i get it, but youve contradicted yourself. it goes without saying you ought learn from people that know what theyre talking about not just anybody, otherwise youll end up wasting your time. however, this is easier said than done given its circumstances that determine our existence.

You have a good point. I'd argue that I have a lot to learn from an oaf as well as from a sage, just the nature and depth of insight is different.
Sometimes I feel like I'm wasting time with the oaf and get annoyed, but it is my impatience that is my character defect not theirs. So from them I can learn important things about myself.
I can be an impatient trader and I have lost money that way. It is best to have a plan and stick to it, actually doing so is always harder than I think

how do you learn from someone who will physically attack you if you disagree with them? sure they may have some insight as to appropriate action in a given situation in life but some people arent capable of civil discussion or even rational thought, or, they may lack the willingness or desire to learn. these are the dregs of society who drag people who make an honest effort to better themselves down. youd be wise not to assume everyone has the same level of rational thinking as yourself. my suggestion is do not engage with these type of people and actively avoid them.

There are such unfortunates
The steps are for traders on a journey to better themselves and so cannot help those who are constitutionally unable to help themselves
I'd say my interaction with them is rare enough it hasn't caused me many problems.
I've run into more of this type in rehab facilities than on the streets.
In my life today I'd say today's reflection applies pretty well as even the bogler or wagie has something to teach me if I am humble. It's not written exactly that we should not judge others, but that when we do we are judging ourselves.
As for the dregs, if you are in a place where it is daily interaction then I pray for you

Ashtead Technology? That was me and I solded recently at profit hoping to get in cheaper before they listed on the London Exchange but its nearly £4 now lol, I'll get back in on a pullback it seems to be very volatile since the listing. Still a great value longish term play and will greatly benefit from Reform coming to power by 2029 latest with their 'drill baby drill' initiative.

But yeah AT, RR & GRG are my fave Brit stocks other than tobacco companies. Some banks would've been great a year ago but a bit richly priced IMO.

I also think a mini correction/crash is due after the Autumn budget (Which will be so bad they've delayed it until Winter lmao)

But yeah AT is a good company with a great future ahead of it, the stock is heavily shorted and will squeeze bigly one day, probably a year or 2 from now realistically.

Its a 5 bagger easily over a long enough period. What's your average? I was buying at £3.25 - £3.40 and selling between £3.70 and £3.90

It went public via SPAC merger. They have imaging tech that would significantly improve recognition of burn wounds that require surgery better than the best burn physicians. Meaning unnecessary surgeries do not happen which reduces healthcare costs. Active in the UK already. FDA approval has been submitted and expectations are result comes Q1 2026, less likely Q4 2025. One of my high conviction plays because insurance companies and healthcare providers would want this to be mainstreamed to reduce healthcare costs. Haven't seen any indications that its a scam either.

I still shill GAMB but its a slower mover until their earnings in about 5 weeks, I've been accumulating and averaging down.

I am certain 2026 will be GAMB's year, World Cup in Summer will be the most gambled upon event in history and more states/nations are legalising online gambling.

Type gambling into google and tell me the first hit that comes up. That was their issue last Q, Google rejiggered their search engine but GAMB have since adapted and resolved the issue.

I give GAMB a $20 PT for Q3 2026
I think GAMB will hit $15 before EOY but expect a big old pullback afterwards. Q1 & Q2 are their weakest times of year.

The fundamentals are still all there, I want to see some of that newly acquired debt already paid off in their next earnings but Optic Odds is doing far better than expected so I'm very hopeful.

Ive been thinking a lot lately why the famous "90% of traders fail" for a lot lately seeing how easy it actually is to make a small amount of money here and there assuming youre not a braindead adrenaline junkie.
I think the main answer is time. Most people simply dont have the time it takes to monitor, research and execute your trades. They are physically at work all day during the action putting them in a severe disadvantage. When they are not at work, the market is usually closed, and they are either commuting, attending to their kids or wife. The few hours they have for themselves, they are too mentally raped to think about stocks.
