We are skittish chronic self-doubters. Usually naturally gifted intellectually but too unmotivated/dissocialised to take full advantage of it.

So we look for the easiest way to riches, clicking buttons and being a degenerate speculator/investor.

But self-doubt creeps in, some of us read minutia signals on the charts and talk ourselves out of big winners.

We love to buy. We love to sell. We hate holding.

there has been dozens of backwards looking analysis that shows if you are holding long 10+ years, it doesn't really matter if you time the bottom, runs with people buying the top every time in cycles still came out well if you held diversified index etf long enough

you can DCA but lump sum also has a slight edge if you're holding long

learn to put your money to work for status, i'm a frugal bastard but i have a $1.4M net worth at 39 with 0 debt, i learned that outward appearance matters a lot, there are smart hacks to improve fashion, live in a better place, and also get a decent car, i would prioritize the car the least though

$5k can get you a killer wardrobe, build it up slowly over a year, fashion has the most impact on how women perceive you, dumb bitches who automatically reject on car are not worth it anyways

Depends. Even if you're a logical guy and you split the bills, having a girlfriend means going out more, spending money on useless shit like gifts, getting new clothes etc.
On the flipside, it might, might, motivate you to earn more and spend less on *your* useless shit.
If she holds a respectable job with a high salary, you might become more competitive and thus earn more at your dayjob.

Funny how im watching this daytrader turn 2k into 60k in less than a week and yet the entire catalog is filled with people talking about how others have missed some opportunity nearly everyday. So, there is opportunity each day it's just a vast majority of people don't take the time to learn how to make money, instead, they berate each other. Doesnt even matter the amount you start with or the alloted time so long as you know what youre doing, you can be successful.

Yes African women tend to be highly conservative and often want to marry and have children very quickly. They also tend highly value education, so some of them might be politically pozzed but still somehow conservative when it comes to family and morality.

i bought 20k shares of NXLV today

this was all me i was 99% of the reported volume on the official exchange
this is by far the most illiquid ticker i've entered
i put it a limit buy to get more at the bid and i got zero fills for the rest of the day
REITs are value traps but i made an exception today as a hedge, if im not gonna liquidate my portfolio to buy a house yet, i need something that will go up with housing so i dont get priced out in the future

imo anything over a 50% NAV discount seems like a good deal to me since i'd still be flat fundamentally for the most part even if actual houses crash another -30% -> in which case my hedge on the other side (+ a mortgage) will make me buy a house
i dont recommend it, it feels like a JXN situation to me but it's too illiquid for anyone to pile in lol

I have good news for you guys, the top of the market isn't here yet.

Pull up a chart of the S&P500 divided by the price of gold, compare today to the 1970's crash.

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/?symbol=SPX%2FGOLD

You'll see pic related, dark blue is 1970s, light blue is today. It's the fucking same, literally down to the week it's the same.

The S&P didn't put in a top until the first week of 1973 while the SPX/gold ratio started rolling over. If we continue to follow the same trend as the 1970's and I don't see at this point why we wouldn't barring a sudden announcement of WWII, we still have 2 more years of bull market to go according to pic related.

IDN has been consolidating for months, better than crushing it back down to $2.5 at least someone clearly wants to keep accumulating and wnts to keep it around these levels even with no news

NXGL is waiting for Abbvie to stop fking around and start their business already (NXGL was supposed to provide the blade to their razor in a way), Abbvie is taking so long they started ramping up their own stuff
at least if the economy goes bad they have the Silly George brand acquired already and growing -> Lipstick Index for a lil bump in a recession possibly

also by complete coinciden to NXGL NexGel

So here's me forecasting, if my predictions come true then all doubt is gone about what comes next and I'm all in to this crazy market.

On wednesday the market will sell off, there will be a small correction that will go until Nov 19th, then it will take off again until end of april next year followed by another big selloff that will continue until november. Then we're looking at another rip all the way through 2027 before finally the market peaks on new years 2028 and crashes by 50%.

Remember this post because I'll forget in like a week.

peter lynch is right
diversification kills your gains

but to win longterm you have to focus on avoiding losses, not focus on winning
how unfortunate

Bro I did research on both the run up to the 2000 bubble and the 2007 bubble. Both had people calling the bubble years in advance, but before the actual bubble burst there was months of range bound volatility and bearish news bits. That's not happening yet, chill out and enjoy the last stage of the party.

Sold my SOXL today
Do I buy back in when it dips tomorrow? Or was today the absolute top?
>>
>>61054739
Ah very nice I was watching IONQ and IONZ closely. I only made 8% of IONZ in a 1k same day trade, it was good but so crazy volatile, glad I got out when I did.

FIG conversely I know nothing about.

IONZ is in that quantum realm, the science behind it is real, and the proof of concepts are working, but the commercial application is very premature and most of these companies have nothing to show for it. There were a couple days last week where market sentiment shifted and the quantums were the first to go down; people can feel it is on shaky ground.

yup the material of the earth is literally being mined and implanted into tiny electric brains which power everything you do and are with you 24/7 is the most big bongo money go up plan I've ever seen.

Thanfully I've dabbled a bit in that industry so I'm quite familiar with how the chess pieces move.

Actually, real talk, trend trading tends to be more successful long term than reversal trading.
Plus you can zoom out to weekly/monthly to confimr

Trade however you want. The important thing is to have a defined system for entry/exit, and a set of rules and risk management and the key; FOLLOW IT

If I can cherrypick my chart for gold from the last few months (daily), for me, a bullish trend happens when price crosses above the upper grey line and the yellow/blue baseline. It is confirmed if the yellow turns from blue to yellow (increasing values). Additional confirmation comes from breaking past the upper green. At that point, it tends to stay above the yellow and gray lines for extended periods; it seems to end once things start to cross down (price below yellow/gray, price into red zone etc)

Best trend in the game rn is KTOS. Never have I seen such a powerful upwards stability.
>>
>>61054841
Kratos is insane, jet speed drones, drone missiles, all guidable ofc, and hypersonic drones too. They are literally a money factory they make some of the best weapons in the world jfc

Man, legendary pickup! How much did you put in at that point?

I would still put in more I just put 1000 more in AVAV which is also my other powerhouse. When it performs well I was going to add more to KTOS as well.

Does forward PE take into account expected inflation?
Honest question, since I think we'll still see a ton of govt spending and inflation pressures from debt cycles

Correct if we go by the 2000 schedule, there was an April crash that took out mostly retail, but the wider market didn't crash til November

To be honest I don't even know what you guys are implying. I look at it from a simple perspective. These guys make giant jet speed guidable missiles better than the dorks at lockheed and northrop who fell in love with overcomputerized bullshit. So my money is going to go up.
