It's fake, chief. I remember this kind of thing back in 2022. A wall street guy came out when the market was ripping upwards and said "it's going too high, too fast" and then the market just magically got dumped all of a sudden. Shorting is fake and should be illegal, it literally just encourages massive market manipulation.

usdc, crypto.
went in early on a project 2 years ago.
All official vendors of course have to slap vat on it and also the 2k limit for anonymous buying. might just bite the bullet, but paying about 20% just for the government to rake in to build some cycling routes in chile and pay the wage of our baldhead chancellor's hairdresser just hurts too much.

It’s like shaking a tree to get apples. It costs energy but you hope less than the apples return. Hard to know how much effort. The ideas is you expend X amount to drive it down. Scare others to bail or trigger stop losses. Buy your X back up for hopefully less than it cost plus the Y others who bailed, on the cheap.

Pus they can get in on the miners at a better price. I’m patient I’ll be holding.

Remember when gold was trying to break above $2100 last year? It dropped like 2% and miners would dump 10%. Then a week later it tested it again, and a few days later it broke through and never looked back. That's what's happening with silver right now. In 15-20 days, we're going to break above $51 and will never see silver under $50 ever again. $50 will be the new base.

I came in here about 9 months ago, bitter and annoyed because my 500oz of silver was basically worth exactly the same as I'd paid in 2021.

Some lads here got mad at me and accused me of fud, shilling, the whole lot. I was honestly fucking heartbroken and felt conned by my investments in boomer rocks. Felt bad for anyone just getting started who was gonna throw all their cash into the same hole I did.

I'm no longer feeling that way, it took a while to start feeling worthwhile but I'm loving every laff now, boys.

Making it means reaching a point where you don't even have to consider selling any part of your stack for any reason. Moreover, making it means your stack always grows.
If you have a stack that you have to regularly dip into or entirely liquidate, you have not made it. That we can be sure of.
>>
>>61073045
Well yeah. What I mean is that if you have to borrow to stack, you can't afford to stack, and you need to fix whatever it is about your situation that is keeping you from being able to stack.

I used to work at a cheese factory and would take home bags of cheese curds every few days. I started swinging by the pawn shop on the way home and giving them a couple bags for 7 silver dimes maybe once or twice a week. Told them how I like to fry em up, about adding them to red sauce pastas, all that. They couldn't get enough! I don't remember how much I stacked from that alone.

And when I was in a different factory I skipped lunches because the fumes would make you puke anyway, so that was another 5$ a day I saved and dropped on silver.

Point is, I'm sure there is something you have access to that somebody would love to trade silver for! Get creative! I'm sure you could hit 25 by the end of the year even if cash is tight!

Basically normies are waking up. What's happening now is called a credit squeeze.

All of these people trading fake paper silver futures on COMEX got margin called, and because everybody knows the physical supply, like at LBMA, is maybe 1% of what these paper silver people are trading, nobody is willing to give them credit to cover their position, so they're being forced to sell their paper shit for nothing, making the price drop, and now everybody who actually owns silver is not selling, because why the fuck would you?
>>
>>61073424
2/2

and therefore because people obviously want to buy but nobody wants to sell for anywhere near this price, the price is going to skyrocket to what it's supposed to be, which is in the hundreds, until the market stabilizes.

I got a graph somewhere. I think it's over 90% between Russia and South Africa and the rest is spread elsewhere. Might be in the pic I put in that post but you're right for pointing it out. My hyperbole was that it's main production is not in the hands of western allies.

Basically traders got absolutely rekt today because ppl are asking for physical and all they got was paper saying "yet to be mined ;)".

Today we've witnessed absolutely wild shit, borrow rates spiked at over 12% (average being 0.5%) and the backwardation spread between futes and spot reached $7 at one point (usual spread is more like 10-20c).

>12% lease rates
People have to understand how catastrophic this is. If the bullion Arbitrageurs can’t pocket a positive spread the entire lease market seizes up. I’m not sure how important silver backwardation is on a system level. It’s gold backwardation that we really need to look for, there can be no shortage of physical gold so backwardation would imply a “no bid” on dollars.

Wow, ok so someone bet silver and lost. Usually they could borrow some at close to spot to cover their ass but now its really fkn expensive.

Hahah I hope that means theres no silver to lend.
>>
>>61073547
name just one example, and show the chart to go with it (you cant)
>>
>>61073701
When you short you borrow stonks from someone and sell them hoping you can buy them back for cheaper later, and if it works out then you pocket the difference.

Banks can manipulate prices lower by shorting alot, but the longer they keep on doing it the more expensive it becomes as less stonks are available to be borrowed.

It’s not just for the paper ponzi. Industrial or jewelry users need to source metal, but don’t necessarily want to pay vaulting fees to store it. They utilize the bullion banks to get the physical on demand, the bullion banks grease the wheels of this system and play a paper leasing game as they do it. It actually serves a legitimate purpose in the pm market, if it weren’t for the fact that every ounce is pledged to multiple owners at any given time.
>>
>>61073701
The message is that real deal physical silver is much rarer than normies have believed it is up to this point. Everything is going exactly as has been predicted for years. Any business dealing with real silver for any reason whatsoever, cannot get their hands on any, and the ones who can are paying legitimately insane interest rates for the privilege.
>>
>>61073746
London is basically out of silver. The US is not. And China is still accumulating. I think once London is forced to admit default, the US might just put a freeze on its supply of silver and hoard it for critical applications. There will be no more buying silver in or from the US and silver will become a bizarre gray market for Americans.

I already mentioned one if you had enough cells to read the thread but here I'll spoon feed since you're a little slow.

Palladium short squeeze backwarddation in late 90s early 2000
LME Nickel Crisis
Tin crisis in 85? I think it was.
Uranium prices in 06 was because of backwarddation as well.

I'm sure there are more but those are examples I remember and could reference off the top of my head. I can lead a retarded horse to the water but I can't make you drink. Go and look up the charts and research the subject more to see I'm right :)

Narratives like that will come to late anon, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. If the powers that be were to come out and say “the dollar and all its infrastructure are dead because of those people that bought gold/silver” that’s the end, it’s the admission that gold and silver are money and by definition dollars are not. Total financial disintegration follows. They would give up any shred of legitimacy in that moment and then it doesn’t really matter why they say or do because their world is ended and they are probably getting lynched in the streets. But to be safe, don’t go bragging.

i wont tell you to put all your monopoly money into silver and gold, but drop a decent chunk and if need be keep a windfall of your fiat so you dont have to sell your stack if something happens in the near term. thats very basic advice but at the end of the day the pm's arent just for number go up, its to keep the value of whatever you've earned over the course of your fiat inflating/collapsing. the money that sits in an account may be a big number but so it is for any groid in zimbabwe.

i dont really have much to say on etc other than your cash there is in the hands of Sneed and Co. so just make sure to rotate into physical once you've made your gains. If anything happens that causes silver to be a gray market like >>61073763 speculates could happen, and i dont think itd be all that out there, theres no real telling what'll happen to that investment and even if you'd be able to cash out in that case silver will be harder to buy and more expensive.

the real question is how many are willing to listen to the media outlets now, they had more leeway because medicine is harder for normalfags to understand than rocket science and very few alternative outlets to information on the subject exist. thats not really the case with finance and economics, theres all manner of channels that discuss the subject that can and will give significant pushback to an msm narrative trying to pin the blame on stackers. im not even sure the msm narrative of using one of the major banks as a sacrifice for the next pop will even hold up under public scrutiny. enough normalfags have become at least that skeptical to msm
>>
>>61073879
It goes deeper than that. It implies a shortage. Delivery panic is setting in. Paper and physical are severely diverging. Massive backwarddation is brewing. A 26% silver lease rate is a screaming signal that the silver market is under severe strain. It’s rare, it’s unsustainable, and it usually doesn’t end quietly

When taking inventory, do you count ALL of your silver as part of your stack? Or do you separate between "expendables" ("Junk" silver, generic bullion bars, bullion coins) and "keeps" (historical items, proof sets, sentimental keepsakes)

i've got about 200 oz of silver and 15oz of gold, but i didnt document how much i paid. all i remember is i never bought gold when it was above $2200/oz, and silver above $24oz. i should really go back through my emails and check the receipts.
