Vietfag here, this is an update for other Vietfriends who asked me to post the result of Sunday's adventure.
>Found a vendor in the morning called Kavimi Jewelry, which Ancarat has confirmed as an official distributor.
>They claimed on their social that the store still has some supplies
>Gave them a call and asked if they have any real silver left
>"come back tomorrow sir"
>mfw being a wagie

Ended up ordering from my usual vendor Cát Tường
Told me Phú Quý has temporary stopped supplying them with silver - but they are still taking in orders, you'll get a piece of paper with a date: March 16th 2026
They limit how much you can buy, each person can only order 5 Lượng (187.5 grams of silver), brought a friend so I can order 10.
Also an update for Vietnam Gold (Au)
>Large distributors have closed down their stores indefinitely
>Smaller vendors put a limit on how much a person can buy, 1/10oz each month for one person
>>
>not making it $51 edition

What is /pmg/'s opinion on ancient coins? This is the only kind I can find still for sale, no idea what their content or weight is. I bought some cheaper ones just because they are cool. Like $15 a piece isnt too bad just for the knickknack.

Ancient coins are awesome, but they're not and should never be considered bullion. Stacking ancient coins for their precious metals content would be like acquiring ancient ships in case lumber goes up. They have a value of their own and can certainly be investments, just not in the same way we invest in gold and silver here. There's a little overlap between historic coins - like Napoleons and Liberty Heads or something - and stacking bullion, but not for like ancient and medieval coins.

Social media has quite clearly shown us how little agency women have, and what great lengths they go to whore themselves out for attention/money. It won’t be long before strong powerful entitled women who earned mid six figures working white collar jobs or as social media influencers, are on their knees trying to suck the chrome off of a trailer hitch for a merc dime. It’s going to be very gratifying to see these entitled roasties being treated like they deserve to be treated after decades of matriarchal and feminist subversion. It’s time that we revert back to the mean and patriarchy shall be restored (via silver)

Platinum & palladium are def going thru a supply squeeze just like silver. Especially w/ Russia being the the majority supplier of both metals (other than South Africa) stuck in a total war with no end in sight.

In fact commodities as a sector is extremely cheap and undervalued right now. Investors have disregarded this entire sector as being polluting and unprofitable for decades, that just about every company that survived this dry spell is currently cheap and will become super profitable from supply squeezes.

Could an anon explain this more clearly? I know there’s a term, it isn’t decoupling, well maybe it is also that but there’s a specific term I’ve seen thrown around over the last few threads. Deforwading? Sounds retarded, and I know that isn’t a word. I’m sure some one will understand.

Has this happened before? Will it end up fixing itself? Thanks for helping out a retard trying to save his 2 young children from the future that’s coming (at least the chance, since there’s no guarantee obv)

Backwardation? That's a term meaning your futures price is lower than the current spot price

I means people want their silver NOW, and don't want to wait till next month

Backwardation happens all the time, it normal sorts itself out within hours if not minutes. Now silver is stuck in backwardation for almost a week now

whoops accidentally replied to myself not you in my last post but hey I appreciate the info. Also, does anyone take the rings out of the protective plastic? One of my friends said the reason they're commonly sold as rings is because you can just wear them and while taking bullion out of the country is illegal you can wear 300g of gold jewelry no problem, and overall its just easier to travel with in country too. No one I know has ever taken them out of the plastic though, so no idea if he's full of shit or not (the 300g thing is real at least last time I checked though)

I know gold filled stuff is very worthwhile since its 1/20 or 1/12 real gold per weight, I have a small pile of that. I dont know if very many people reclaim silver. I know people who buy the plated stuff for the right price but that's because of the brass / copper and not the silver coating.

now this might blow your mind- but we're nowhere near close to what metals should be.
it's "ATH" right now, but adjusted for inflation- silver should be over 200$
you have time to buy fractional gold if you must.

over the weekend, i was teaching young guys i work with the history of money, how we make money, and how investments work.
while i think there will be a crash, i dont think it's going to completely wipe out every bit of worth the dollar or stock market has.
i told them of silver and gold, and silver was obviously more digestible.

Not likely

Plebs don't have gold to steal. Goldbugs are an extreme minority and can't stack that much over their entire lifespan.

Only people with large gold hoards are oligarchs and elites, which governments always bend over for

(pic from years ago by some uberstacker)
>>
>>61102367
Silver always stick to 1oz. There are some lower premium 1/2oz rounds (like from First Mint) but otherwise not a good buy.

If you want to stack fractional, junk dimes are the best low premium option (14 dimes = 1 ozt)
