Why are bears always brown and seethe at trump? Do they hate money?
>>
>>61102683
I honestly don't know. The market has the phases of crashing, capitulation, rising, mania. We're definitely not in either of the bear market phases. I personally feel like we're in early-mid mania right now. P/E's are fucking nuts. And I've seen articles talking about how institutions are getting out of tech/semi's/AI which are the highest valued. We might see a real crash in the next few months. I might need to start looking at industrials. This is reminding me a lot of the late covid dump when tech shit the bed and all the smart money had already moved into oil and chemicals/other DOW shit.

UNREMITTING INVENTORIES
October 13
Continue to watch for selfishness, dishonesty, resentment, and fear. When these crop up, we ask God at once to remove them. We discuss them with someone immediately and make amends quickly if we have harmed anyone. Then we resolutely turn our thoughts to someone we can help.

ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS, p. 84

The immediate admission of wrong thoughts or actions is a tough task for most human beings, but for recovering alcoholics like me it is difficult because of my propensity toward ego, fear and pride. The freedom the A.A. program offers me becomes more abundant when, through unremitting inventories of myself, I admit, acknowledge and accept responsibility for my wrong-doing. It is possible then for me to grow into a deeper and better understanding of humility. My willingness to admit when the fault is mine facilitates the progression of my growth and helps me to become more understanding and helpful to others.

Anon, recognizing and asking God to remove defects of character is hard work. I am in this process every day as I take inventory of my accomplishments and my shortcomings. When I am greedy or fearful I am at fault. If I let my emotions guide my trades I get punished then I must ask the market for amends. I must be ever vigilant about my selfishness, dishonesty, resentment and fear that they do not crop up. And when they do I must admit it. Then I may hopefully help another anon who still suffers. On this very green day remember to also practice humility so to better weather the eventual storms ahead.

Positive Momentum: The stock has recently displayed strong positive momentum, often correlated with a significant price increase.

Support and Resistance: Technical analysis identifies recent price action testing or trading above key support levels, which can be seen as a bullish indicator.

Potential for Reversal: Some technical indicators, such as a high Relative Strength Index (RSI), can suggest that the stock may be overbought, potentially signaling a short-term downward reaction or consolidation, especially following strong price appreciation.

Big (((overnight))) and premarket moves are bullshit and shouldn't be allowed
>>
>>61103248
I feel like you don't understand how 0dte work. You're supposed to buy them when you're anticipating a quick move up and then sell them immediately to make 20-100%
>>
>>61103308
A call option is the agreement to buy 100 shares
A put option is the agreement to sell 100 shares
Therefor to collect premium you sell a call option using your underlying shares as collateral for a position called a covered call.
>>
>>61103308
selling naked puts is more fun
>>
>>61103323
ty fren. i should do this with a crabbing ticker yeah?

>>
>>61102795
It's rather limited, unless you want generic stuff.
>>
>>61103327
Crabbing tickers are safer but will give you less premium (gains) since the market knows this and calls it implied volatity
>>
>>61103329

Short squeeze and then dump
>>
>>61103339
if a move up like that happens, the vix falls dramatically, and you dont make as much as you think youre going to
you are paying more money than usual for options because the market already expects big moves
so you need a bigger than an already expected big move to do well
is that a risk worth taking today? well, history says no and retards will lose money
>>61103349
im sure people sold puts into the hole on friday, you have to put a few chips on the table in times like those, and as of right now they wouldve done well

Klarna fired half it's workers because they think AI is going to do the work of all customer service representatives.
What I have seen is that people meet a chatbot they just say "I wanna talk to an agent".
Nobody ever engages with the AI bots. Not a single bot has been able to answer my questions in any service I have ever used. But companies think they can lay off 1k people and implement AI customer service so people have to wait 40 minutes to speak to a real customer service agent because they fired most of them.
AI is not doing the work. When will the market realize this?
>>
>>61103359
They better be more expensive i bought 1dte calls on friday that I plan on selling for 100% gain at open
>>
>>61103372
they did this with phone reps ages ago, you call any corpo and have to tell some shitty TTS robot to fuck off 10 times so that you can then wait for an hour to talk to someone. that never went away, did it?
>>
>>61103358
just curious
why?
most banks, analysts, commentators expect a great earning season and have sp500 at 7000+ eoy, santa rally, rate cuts, weak longs flushed, fresh bears trapped
the majority of force seems to want to go up, so what do you base this on?
>this is anon's room, he is quite the little bear of wall street, haha!
>NO MOM ITS WOLF OF WALLSTREET
>AND STOP CALLING ME THAT
>>
>>61103384
They think they can make it go away with AI but they can't.
>>
>>61103372
The place I work at went through this a couple of years ago. It was a huge push from management to implement this "AI support bot". Then after a few months they realised almost all interactions with it was just "let me talk to a real person please". And they shut it down.

Maybe in the long term but on short time frames the market takes the path that causes the most pain. Which would be short squeezing at open to wreck the bobos. Then dumping afterwards to wreck the bulls.
>>
>>61103372
It works for the most simple tasks. I just cancelled an order for a plumber on the app of my landlord. But it still was retarded. I couldn't just click on the order and then click on "cancel". No, I had to start a chat and ask it to be cancelled and then put in the ordercode and that I had to write down as you can't copypaste it. But for that I had to restart the convo. Peak retarded. But at least order is now cancelled.

Well, actually now that I checked it's not cancelled in the app. It's still "in progress" (circle/ring that is halffull with yellow colour opposed to full green one). Whatever

The next weekly candle is gonna be a red one. The AI bubble is fraud so the companies who tried to save costs first will start showing that they didn't actually save any costs and that's causing the dump.

>>61103396
This is what is fueling the AI boom.
Also all that code that's being generated by the one guy who didn't get fired at a company, cannot be fixed afterwards because he doesn't know what he generated and he doesn't have time. Unless he's a senior programmer which means he didn't need AI in the first place, I've seen senior programmers, they just type code directly without looking it up on AI or stack overflow.

I agree that the main hurdle is trust. Cutting edge LLMs are "smarter" than the average person but their alien cognition makes them really bad at a few vital tasks, critically the ability to self correct when they get something wrong. For an LLM, a social interaction is basically some eldritch abstract problem it just trial and errors until it understands roughly which response it should give to a given input. Our brains are less computationally powerful but they're structurally designed to do roughly what we do today, which is why our retard moments don't usually involve entirely misunderstanding a task like an LLM might.

TLDR; Businesses don't trust the computer with actually important shit because it doesn't have a reptile brain telling it that wiring 1000 gorillion USD to a nigerian private account for no reason is retarded.

Is anyone at all concerned about large bitcoin brokerage services allowing 150x leverage under $300k with no maintenance requirement and the ability to post bitcoin as collateral against unrelated assets, given that (relatively speaking vs stocks) avg Joe Schmoe is more engaged in bitcoin than institutions?
This is an unregulated market which means there are no emergency breaks.

Maybe AI will be used just not in the way that we expect.
>I couldn't just click on the order and then click on "cancel"
Companies hiding basic functionality for no reason has to be one of the more frustrating parts of modern existence, especially when you have to know exactly what to do and then coach the phone support anyways.
Of course it's all intentional, especially if you want to actually cancel a service they're incentivized to make it difficult.
AI will absolutely be used to turn up the heat on the useless plebs.
>need to cancel scamazon
>OK lets do this!
>[gay emoji][gay emoji][gay emoji]
>goes in circles
>you're 35, too old for this stuff
>need your neighbors teenage son who knows the ai cheatcodes that he got from his tranny fortnite friends
>give up and don't cancel

You forget that they're also designed to kiss your ass. Every customer would get a refund and bankrupt the business.

No it won't. AI makes you code slightly faster and produce bugged images faster.
It doesn't produce real work on its own. The layoffs are boosting profitability in the short term only as companies fall behind those who didn't save costs.

In biology we call that local maxima and it's basically inevitable in any system that selects for fitness (which the market is). Essentially, the more dynamic a system is, the more prone organisms within become towards developing behavior which improves current performance at the expense of future performance.
Cancer is a good example; It's far better at reproduction than normal cells, but only by destroying the environment it needs to survive. Jeets and chinks intentionally sabotaging a product to extract more value out of customers is the same thing in concept. It makes number go up and is therefore incentivized within the company, but kills innovation and bloats management with the kind of rats who think like this until it can't even deliver the bare minimum of product quality. Being larger just means it takes longer and the only way to reverse it is by assigning someone competent to clean house.
