I've only been in the market for about 4.5 years, longest stock I held was for about two years. I did a little swing trading and sell some options (1 week to 1 month) but its not as profitable as just buying good stocks when they are cheap and riding the rip for a while and selling. I like making money more than playing a short term game.

Not too many weeks ago RGTI and QBTS were a lot cheaper, and more recently NVTS and ONDS. There are plenty of stock that cheap and have yet to rip. Finding them before they get too expensive is time consuming.

I bought and solded RGTI and QBTS several times. I had PLTR at 19 sold at 60, bought some more at 84, bought NBIS at 31 and still have it, Joby at 9.29 and still have it, ASTS at 25.37 and still have it (I bought at about 21 and sold it before). I bought RGTI and QBTS @ like $5 or $7 at the end of last year, but I sold at 100% profits because I was sure quantum would be a pump and dump. The valuation of these stocks is so retarded. Quantum doesn't make any money and it won't for a long long time, but the market do be irrational n sheeit.

/smg/ knew about palantir in 2020, /smg just stopped talking about it because cancerous /clf/fags and /soxl/fags took over the thread. And with the market as high as it is, stockpicking is dumb and doesn't work. Most importantly if you /started/ in 2023 that was after the 2022 selloff, you have literally only been trading a continuous bull market with no serious pullbacks, a strategy that does not work in a bear market like 2022.
>>

Just gonna keep buying lithium and other minerals. I wish the market didn't N-WORD me every fucking time I try to get in on something low and pump without me, but LAR is worth at least as much as LAC so the pump should just go parabolic 2-3x from here. Maybe. Or maybe the market will fuck me again and again. Whatever.

Crypto is dead unless you have insider alpha or can get in on a 'literally funded by insiders' coin before it immediately pumps.

The funny thing is that crypto has something like market freezes now. TAO doubled over the weekennd and now coinbase has limited purchases
>NO YOU CAN'T PUMP THIS TO 1000 BUCKS AIEEEEE
Literally just a dead market since hype can no longer take anything to the mooney.
>>
So the market only goes up now? What can bring it down? Even if something bad happens they'll just start printing money again.

they already tried applying AI to mining data, last I checked it did not work. So quantum AI might be a new angle for a pump and dump, but what is your riz to sell to VCs for money?

When?
>>
>>61108084
lac and lar are being pumped because of US gov money and US gov insiders. LAR has a lower MCAP than LAC by about half, but better assets/lower debt. So the assumption is it will at least go to where LAC is. That's it, that's the bull case
>but that's dumb and lacking in fundamentals
It doesn't matter. This is a dumb market. pltr is like 159 dollars a share or something because of this 'logic'. Rather than questioning it, ideally you'd be able to buy in low and ride the momentum with a tight slop loss in case the music stops. The idea is that LAR will be 3x in a month and lac will be 2x. Crazier things have happened. Like RGTI.
>>
>>61108150
>if something bad happens they'll just start printing money again.
There is more to this statement than you think. The US empire is in trouble in several ways. Keeping the stock and bond markets, real estate markets, defense and IT sectors running keeps the pension/retirement funds going and keeps the masses from rioting if they are collapse. From the government's perspective its better to keep printing and devaluing the $ than let the government openly default. The reason US keeps attacking and threatening to attack Russia, China, Iran, Venezuela and other countries is to try and keep the game going. I am betting they keep pumping the markets no matter what.

Yes. The gold/oil ratio is insane. Something has to give. I suspect oil is going to go up to 100$ in the next years and gold will have to correct a bit. Demand for oil might be lower in developed countries but Asia is still growing strong and I don't think renews/nuclear can offset demand.

If Trump’s fiscal policies and trade strategies reignite inflation, real estate is likely to become one of the biggest beneficiaries. Inflation drives up the nominal value of physical assets, and property owners often capitalize through higher rents and sales prices, which in turn fuels larger transaction volumes and commission pools. As investors look for inflation hedges, the demand for housing and real assets tends to strengthen—pushing brokerage platforms, agent networks, and transaction-based services into higher growth territory. With revenues climbing past $1.6 billion annually and over 70 % year-over-year growth, one company stands out for its expanding agent base, rising deal volume, and improving margins—REAX. look and the options chain speaks for itself, the oi ratio is 0.03

I don't need to quit I just need more money to allow me to feel like I could quit anytime and be fine. I sold some dogs and siting on some cash right now, still looking for something to invest in. The latest surge in returns is from the runs on RKLB, ASTS, JOBY, NBIS, RGTI, ONDS, and NVTS. Of all these I like ASTS the best, but I got in fairly early (I was in and out several times but I was loading up, for me, a few months ago because of their partnerships with DOD, ATT, VZ, Vodafone and others). I don't know if I would buy at $90, maybe some for exposure. They are supposed to launch two satellites soon. If they blow up the stock will crash. ASTS is better than Starlink, and will be making money a lot sooner. If a stock runs up too fast sell some to lock in profits. You never lose realizing profits. I am sitting on some cash from a couple losers I sold today, not sure yet what to buy with it. There are opportunities to 2x-10 your money, just don't go all in, take small positions and if it hits take profits. If dies you don't lose much. Understand the business the best you can, if you don't then don't buy it.

They are starting to accelerate AI spending in hopes it will pay off before it goes bust. So far AI is great for making music with funny lyrics, porn, 4chan memes, but anything more sophisticated is lacking. If they can't monetize it soon (maybe mid to late next year) then its going to pop. There is no way they can get enough nuclear reactors built on time, its has to be natural gas and GE Vernova gas turbines.

>but you don't post on like a social media or blog
No, I only shitpost here. I aint no pro, I am sure in the long run (10 years to 30 years) an ETF is the best, but I just see so much money and momentum in tech (AI, chips, comms, quantum) I want to ride the bubbles while the bubble riding is good. I take profits if a stock runs to fast and put the money in a safe treasury ETF that earns only about 4%. I also sell losers, and I have had plenty, and try to put the remainder to better investments. You can do an expert analysis and be right about a company and the stock still tanks or crabs for a long time. I know it may get shit on, and thats fine and funny, but for some light info and maybe learning of new stocks I watch Couch Investor, Tom Nash, Nanalyze, and Chip Stock Investor. I do not invest just because they mention a stock, they shows just give me some ideas sometimes and I do my own research. When the this tech bubble cools (and I mean AI and everything around AI too), I will just sit back with mostly ETFs.

I am a strong believer of double-dipping. If you can get away with being a salary man while trading for gains on company time then you are effectively out jewing the system.

>QRD on bayhorse?
actual OCD retard with brain damage thought he discovered some amazing new mining company and could not stop spamming it 24/7 for a couple years. Drove everyone crazy. He actually though he was "de risking" the business by his retarded OCD posting of his fantasy comments. Shhhhhh......he is still around lurking.
>>
>>61109806
…not only that but people actually bought tons of shares only to become exit liquidity for said shill + iirc Bayhorse diluted the share quantity a few times during that whole shill fest.

Wrong mindset, stop chasing moonshots and learn to be happy with compounding 20% gains over and over, that's the way to win reliably.
>>61108802
made enough to retire but I still come back here for more gains, you ALWAYS want more gains, having "enough" is not a real thing.
>>61109067
Great advice and strategy, sounds similar to mine, you're going places. Trade sizing and risk management is so important, or you'll be taking one step forwards two steps backwards
