Hi guys, retard here from /tv/.

I got 100.000 in the bank and I'm trying to figure out how, in these trying times, to invest that a SAFE way. I'm merely looking to get rich, but for something that will at least beat inflation and keep the buying power of my hard earned shekels.

I really don't know anymore what's considered safe. My concern is the (apparent) AI bubble on the horizon and the US' massive debt. I've considered index funds, but a lot of them, certainly any I've seen that seem to be getting decent returns, are heavily invested into AI-related companies. I've considered bonds etc but I'm genuinely concerned about dollar inflation (and with it inflation across the west). Gold and other PMs are so expensive it seems like a potentially very bad time to put a hundred grand into that.

My uneducated guess is that some sort of diversified emerging markets index fund might be a decent option and hedge against economic downturns in the west? But I don't really know the first thing about emerging markets.

I just want to put my money somewhere the globulist international financial illuminati wont be able to siphon it off to the tune of 5-10% inflation a year ;_;

Any advice very welcome.

No risk it, no biscuit.
There are no "safe" investments, look at the SCHD baggies.
Just move it all into a brokerage count with an underlying market return of at least 3% as the basis holdings and then just buy VOO every dip. It's literally that simple.

my thinking is it seems likely that the market is in a bubble and will take a major shit soon (next couple of years) and i'd rather put my money into something like that *after* that happened. i was hoping there's a safe boring option like ... medicine or whatever, but i guess there isnt really a "safe haven" investmnt huh

That's what I told you to do. Just get a brokerage where the cash is in SPAXX and then just buy dips on the VOO. The more it dips, the more you buy. In a few years you'll have moved that 100k into it and you'll be good to just hold it.

>>
>>61133537
>see i dont understand how that isnt a bubble. i mean i'm barely financially literate. but where does all that "value" come from
Stock valuations are mostly base on profits and expectations of profits. Technology advances, productivity goes up, mag7 post huge profit margins. Also we've been in a secular(long term) bull run since the housing bubble, which happened to start close to when SCHD was created.

I am a little sad that I fell for the rare earths fomo though, it didn't make a big dent for me since my positions are small but it was enough to knock me into the red.

Go to a stripper club to do the stripper test, if the strippers are invested in gold, nvdia and have 5 loans for their 8 houses to pay their buy now pay later, take the biggest leverage you can muster to buy all the credit default swaps possible, sell even your house for more credit default swaps. and wait until you end up sitting on 700 billion of whatever is left of the USD

You don't understand anon.
All the McDonalds where I live, they're crewed by blacks and non-English speaking hispanics. They get the order wrong half the time, half the time they tell you to wait for a burger in the parkinglot and then forget you are there, they can't speak English, the food is cold, etc.

You go to ChikFilA? Service is excellent. Food is good. Amazing milkshakes. Clean place. It feels like a little glimpse into the White America from our childhoods. I genuinely adore it.
And all that for only $1 more on average.

all stocks are meme stocks. All stocks have expiration dates. You buy low, ride the price up, sell it, move on. I actually bought it by mistake and when I realized it I did more research and was not sure it was a keeper, at least for how long, then it started to run and it was clear it was not sustainable so I sold it and moved on. Lots of big money watches what retail buys, they read the shit and post here and other sites, and they work to meme stocks to rapid ATH then start selling into late comers. Don't be a late comer/bag holder

some stocks can't fail, it is impossible

mcd feeds the nation, wmrt supplies the nation, ko gives the world caffeine in every location and feeds the addiction to sugar, adm refines the corn into sugar and other plants into extracts in the nation with the most corn, to supply said companies above

people need to eat to survive, they literally can't go down, and they have never went down in any serious way since they started trading, they do not have viable competition because the competition can't compete on the same terms and have been boxed out of the market

essentially monopolies

ko can easily fall for the same reasons and they are also vulnerable to people waking up to the sugar and caffeine jew

walmart sells everything, saves the consumer money

also aldi's does not sell many items that I want to buy, like 10lbs of ground beef, or 20lbs at a time, at the aldi's down the street from me I have to buy in 5lb increments and it's 73% lean

walmart is objectively better in my area, but it's literally 2 blocks from my house and right next to my gym so I often just buy there when I'm done at the gym

when you have $100,000,000,000, then it doesn't matter

look at how they have made their wealth, the stock market literally cannot fail in the long run because it sustains these people, the printing doesn't end

play the game, buy the ticket

No anon.
I'm saying the complete opposite. Without government over-site people like us can be freely ruthless enough to survive. Obviously if you're on 4chan you should already have enough to thrive in a chaotic situation.
The DANGER is if the government KEEPS control because they you CANT take what you need BY FORCE because the biggest bully is still around.

whoa buddy, I think I understand what you're saying, yes I have the knowledge etc

you can still win when the government has control, you have to play the game they're playing and understand it, there are plenty of rich people living great lives despite the fact we have a government, and they have plenty of force to project in their daily lives

People are gonna riot if Trump ever crashes this for real.

Any of you watch shkreli on youtube? What's the QRD on his returns so far? I know Schwab made him deposit more money in the account a couple months back when QBTS wouldn't stop going up. That already pretty much fucks the validity of the entire experiment, because that would simply be game over for an actual retail investor, but I'm wondering if anything else like that has transpired. Has he given himself any more do-overs?

this is correct from the detached, mathematical perspective of an economist, but in human terms, americans are absolutely the least equipped of any nation in the world for a sudden decline in the standard of living

they might slaughter the cows first and send frozen containers of beef, idk
