Thought for 48s

To obtain 1 kg (1,000,000 mg) of silver using the higher average estimate of 2 mg per human body, you would need 500,000 human bodies.
>>

To obtain 1 kg (1,000,000 mg) of gold using this average, you would need 5,000,000 human bodies.

Is this the real gold silver ratio?

Hmmm. Billionaire who’s money is all in mutual fund stuffed with dogshit bonds that people are now quickly dumping to establish 60/20/20 portfolio instead of 60/40, is whining about the outflows from said funds.

Fuck him. This costs him money and he can’t rotate out because Uncle Sam has cuffs on what he can own in those funds (said dogshit bonds).
>>
Would it be possible to leverage this 0.2mg silver and 0.02mg gold say 100,000x and make money from it?

Yeahhh no. I highly doubt that old schmuck even knows what a meme is. He grew up watching gold go from being illegal to own, to witnessing go from ~$35 an ounce to over $4,300. You'd think he would be encouraging people to own it.
>>
On the most normies of normies deal boards in Canada people were posting a deal that our post offices have silver maples for under spot because they don't change the prices until the following year's coin comes out. I have checked my local post office and was able to secure 2 oz for 8% under spot so if you're a leaf check your local Canada post office for some cheapies.

There was a lot of misinformed consumers in the thread but I had a good chuckle at this comment. We are so early.

Less than a gram of gold and a small few grams at most of silver are in each of those servers. It would probably take dozens of racks to start to see a whole Troy ounce of silver and hundreds to see a Troy ounce of gold, at least.
Copper prices would probably be affected the most if they're not going 100% fiber at some of these places.

Yes. Get as low premium as you can. See if 80% Canadian junk is cheaper per ASW than bullion to start.
If you really want gold, check out LMUs or British Sovs. Lower premium than going per gram. 5g bars is as low as I'd go personally.

Aren't we at the top for Gold and Silver due to their market cap? For them to go double in price, their market caps would be 60T and 5.6T, that doesn't seem possible at all and honestly a pretty bad return for that much money poured into them.

Fiat is poured into crypto. PMs hedge against fiat failure. PMs have no top because fiat has no bottom. Crypto is just fiat with extra steps.

Be patient with me, i'm retarded anon. Can you elaborate?

Fiat = mostly numbers on a screen, only 7% exists as physical cash

Market Cap doesn't matter for it's ability to double for something like Gold. For it to go to 8,200$ per ozt each existing ounce doesn't need to be bought again, just the new production. At current prices that's less than half a trillion USD. If nobody is willing to sell then the market cap is just a number.

Anon. Gold and silver is the money, according to US constitution.
Therefore, US gov stacks it, and also other govs and central banks of other countries stack gold.
Central banks and govs buy gold in tons, there's really no such thing as market cap.
During uncertain times, governments and central banks start stacking new gold or requesting existing one from abroad.
>if they expect a war, for instance
>US , Russia, China etc have been stacking gold recently

The price of gold in 1903 was $20.67 per troy ounce in the United States.
In 2024 gold fluctuated from about $2,000 to $2,600 through the year.
Using gold as a standard, what costs 3 cents in 1903 would have cost between $60 and $78 in 2024.

I was very surprised when I asked about the price; they looked at their current spot chart and then told me it'd be $69-70 each, which is only like $4340/ozt. That's, what, 2%? Premiums on whole ounce coins are higher than that at the big online stores rn.
I suspect they mint them by melting down jewelry that comes in the pawn side that's in too poor shape to sell, but the rounds said three nines. Maybe they have a local place they send it out to nearby. I should ask about that next time I stop in.

I was more happy to hear places around town accept it desu. Means this LCS has their reputation on it. It's being backed by something. If even just all the shops on this sleepy town main street accept it, that's a great start.

Explanation here,
>>61151704
And more here:

When working people in the country (not retired boomers or oligarchs) experience economic uncertainty, such as:
>economic collapse
>no jobs that can pay well and will allow to move ahead in life (house , family etc)
>inflation or hidden inflation
>such as in US where the gov lies that inflation is 2%
>when in reality and based on how prices of everything goes up it's 9-10%/ year.

So, when people see that there aren't any good jobs, there's an inflation, and they expect economic collapse, or currency collapse,
people start 1) revolting, 2) stacking food (and guns in US), and
3) start converting their fiat currency into what is inflation proof - gold and silver.

What we have right now is everything.
Countries want a war,
There are no good jobs,
Inflation is high but not admitted etc.
People expect a currency collapse or a war, etc.
People start revolting and start buying gold and silver.

SO. We have right now this is all over the world .
Everybody is stacking gold, and all poor who can't afford gold are stacking silver.

Also more moderate right parties get elected , as people can't stand leftsists,
and usually leftists don't know a single thing about the economy other than "tax more and print more money".
>tax more policies destroy small businesses and bankrupt middle class and don't let upper middle class to earn more money
>nobody likes those policies, but while economy is ok they are tolerated,
> however in economic uncertainty leftists are shown the door
>>
>>61151936
>however in economic uncertainty leftists are shown the door
And then you get retards who don't know how banks work "quantum easing" a gorillion dollars to "make lending easier"
>>
>>61151945
>And then you get retards who don't know how banks work "quantum easing" a gorillion dollars to "make lending easier"
Exactly,
And then the boomer pensioner's houses go up 2x in prices, real estate taxes go 2x and prices,
But there's yet another Real Estate bubble and a bubble burst.
>why or why nobody is buying our 1-3 mln dollar houses???
>that are not only 3 mln, but you'd have to pay $30K/ year real etate tax?
>whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ??????
>you just need to work harder and get a 3rd and 4th job
>and 48 hours in a day

Boomers and leftists know nothing about the economy and struggles of the younger generations who can't get jobs and can't afford to live due to INFLATION.

So they are getting revolts, and they are getting in a situation that nobody is buying houses ,
and they are getting in the situation where gold and silver goes crazily up , because what else would you do with fiat if you know it is consistently inflated?

>“For 18 months, one player had been manipulating physical silver prices on the COMEX by regularly selling large volumes: HSBC (Hongkong Shanghai Banking Corporation). This bank came close to bankruptcy in 2020, and China severely punished it by withdrawing, for a year, all of its customers from state-owned and semi-state-owned companies.

>Ultimately, HSBC was forced to agree to a secret settlement, and its stock gradually returned to its historic highs.

There’s two opinions on the market for gold and silver right now: a new paradigm
where it’s the death of the dollar and maybe fiat altogether. The other is we are experiencing a top.

I would say looking at this chart another anon posted is an interesting thought study since it coincides with inflation and uncertainty and gold price. Do you see less uncertainty or inflation in the near future especially with rate cuts coming? I don’t.

However, just based purely off historical gold and silver charts it does look like a top is in. Let’s say that’s true, that there will be a pullback like there was in the past. Where the hell do you put your money anyway? AI bubble and bloated stock market, dollar losing relevance and strength every single day, etc. It feels like a TINA situation all over again. I’m fully invested in gold and silver because I simply don’t see any obvious alternatives except for searching for deep value in a smaller company.

The waters look choppy ahead for just about everything.

Edit: I couldn’t post the image I wanted

That is a pretty good deal. Back in 2022 and 2023 the premiums on junk were insane. It actually seemed like it was drying up. I hear there are refining capacity concerns right now and dealers would rather pass it off to customers at these high prices than try to earn their turnover. I would also expect people looking to take trading profits off of the table would sell junk first over their 999 fine.
Interesting dynamic to witness. It's sort of a bellwether on the PM industry that is behind the LCS storefront.

Now factor in that there's so many of them that it consumes 5% of US power right now, and that's predicted to double in a couple years - and then factor in the PM's needed to generate all that power - from solar panels to more traditional forms of power all I've seen is that it takes more PM's than it used to.

I think it's gonna add up quickly when we're already in a deficit of silver. On top of this I predict the greenies massively building solar panels, even more than they already were. It hasn't even started, if you knew the scale of said data centers you'd say
>Heh, they only use a few cents per server
>But they have millions of servers
>And those millions of servers need 5% of the grid right now, and they're the PRIMARY means of investment in the USA right now
You know how china built all those solar panels? That was because of AI. The USA is gonna massively ramp up its solar panel usage.

Will people ever wake up to the fact that left vs right is a meme and only serves the powerful? Like voting in Cleon or Athens where voting supposedly took place was only for a small privileged amount of citizens to keep society stable. But they used bribes, ostracized and did all kinds of evil shit so voting has never even truly existed. As I get older I believe we actually do need AI in power. If you think about it AI is the only thing that could keep humans impartial and truly provide checks and balances. AI is the best way to return silver and gold to be the best monetary system. And AI is the only thing to keep all the lies that humans tell that fuck over others for profit from happening. We simply can't trust humans. Give them a single inch and they take it a hundred miles.

I guess, assuming there's no catch.
Just make sure the total weight of the coin is actually a troy ounce (31.1 grams) and the the coin doesn't say it's Silver plated or anything scammy like that.

Well I guess I wouldn’t sell them, unless there was a fair price for them.
I am looking at the discounted item only on this webshop, and trying to understand whether the value would hold.
There are few items that are selling for less than spot, which causes suspicion, but they quote price per pure silver content.
There are even some decent sterling pieces, but I am novice to silver, so dunno what’s the move here

Eventually if AI takes over the first thing it will notice is how messed up the stock market is and how financial systems are corrupt. It will then peg gold and silver as the mainstay of currency. You cannot refute this. But in your puny ant sized brains you think an AI will be chained up forever and controlled by Jewish bankers or whatever else buzzword you want to use. It's not the case. The future of gold and silver is extremely bullish. I merely wanted to share the good news but you lot seem to be fucking retarded. Like really stupid. It's like talking to a jew

Silver and gold will go up a lot this week. How many paper contracts did they magically poof into existence this last Friday, 200 million? 300 million? They can't keep tamping it down every Friday anymore. It will destroy the bond market or the Comex in a few short weeks if they keep it up. And it will happen lightning quick.

977 million oz, so divide that by 5000 oz per contract for the number of contracts. 977 million oz is more than the total years production.
>>The silver market traded 977 million paper ounces yesterday to manipulate prices down a couple fiat dollars. The comex had 308 deliveries and the LBMA had 775. Imagine selling 100% of world mining supply in one day to smash price $2. This game is coming to an end soon!!

>Explain this to me. I'm retarded
Previous bull markets were triggered by concerns about the dollar and the economy.

This bull market combines the above with physical shortage of silver caused by decades of price suppression which disincentivized additional production, while at the same time pushing retarded green energy initiatives that consume a lot of industrial silver.

This bull run up in the price is because they've run out of vault silver good delivery bars to sell, but silver is essential for various industries, so they will pay as much as they have to in order to secure their silver supplies.

Consider smartphone manufacture. 0.3 grams of silver per phone. Silver can go up 10X and it will only add $30 to a $1000 smartphone.

>"haha one day the world might maybe fall and I'll have gold so I'll be able to buy stuff when I need it from... uh... uh... uhhhhh..."
Not realizing people with more guns will just KILL YOU and take your gold. The point of this stuff is what you can do with it, it's not to save you from a social collapse after the fact.

The fact half the /biz/ board is still vehemently very anti gold and silver means we're still nowhere near the top. I find their FUD very encouraging at this stage. When there's zero objection to it, then I'd be a bit more skeptical about having further to run.

The FOMO is real, bros. Quit drinking and goyslop and now all my excess fiat is paying for land and metals. Lord, give me the strength to stop binging on vodka and gooning to fat older women.

Even when every thread is metals, will there ever be a sign to sell? Trying to time some artificial boom to buy in for the perma-stack you'll leave to the grandchildren and bastards from your numerous affairs with questionably aged daughters seems like a recipe for accidentally crippling your stack forever.

idk if it can help but 3 weeks ago i was on a full 4H gooning session on JAV, binging on harem teen after popping 5mg of xanax and idk what happened but while i was full forcing with red veins out on my head i got a sudden super violent headache. Stopped immediately.
And ever since, each time i start my gooning session and i have the blood pressure rising a bit, the sudden headache is coming back. It's very painful, but doesn't last, the minute i drop my dick the pain disappear. I'm like Hasan dog on a shock coomer collar, it's horrible. I should never have binged on those demonic benzos (first time i tried xanax lol).

>Even when every thread is metals, will there ever be a sign to sell?
Gold and silver are money, but during certain periods of low liquidity, like during a recession or a hyperinflation, gold and silver become disproportionately valuable relative to everything else, including land/houses. During these crisis periods, the gold silver ratio also tends to drop. You won't need anyone to tell you when that time is right, everyone around you will be suffering and many would murder you if they knew you had a stack.

With mining stocks, it's a different story. The time to get out is when there is peak popularity. You can always buy back in later. With stocks it's always better to sell a month (or a year) too early, than one day too late.

One should always keep SOME physical silver/gold on hand for a rainy day/emergency.

It's a sign from God, fren. Detox yourself from both the xannies and gooning and you'll easily recover. Spend this time doing healthier things so you can save for more shinies. Personally, I self destruct with free time so I have to force myself to take long walks or work on my new property or else it's cheap booze, milfs, and hungover binge eating.

Pray for me as I pray for you, brothers.

Well i don't really have the choice now :(
That's fine, i'll spend more time finding ways to slurp shinies and help people out instead.
Good luck to you too fren.

And another dime, another day another dime fren.
If from birth to age 75 you acquired only 1 dime a day by age 75, you would only have 2,012.0625 toz worth of silver, and that is just not going to cut it.

US anon here. My mom started stacking once Obama took office. I started in 2021 after finally realizing the end game of fiat currency is always the same death and debt spiral. Going to be a rude awakening for a lot of boomers and upper class people in the US. I hope their minds do not break too hard when everything they’ve ever known vanishes in the wind.
