If Tariffs are not causing inflation like Hassett said today, why is is the CPI at 3,0% then? To make it worse, the Fed is actively trying to figure out if the inflation is tariffdriven. But if it's not tariffdriven, then 3,0% sounds not so good considering 3,0% was the highest number this year.
