It is however GOOD that most people are not tradesmen or else tradesmen would be paid even less.

Why on earth would Euros invest in AI infrastructure (data centers) when they already have an energy crisis?
My extended family lives there and nobody ever explained to Germans that Nuclear is safe.
And every Euro country is currently flooded with unemployed migrants, they don't want even unemployment due to AI
>>
>>61242237
>Why on earth would Euros invest in AI infrastructure (data centers) when they already have an energy crisis?
they are being built there... just by american companies. google, msft, aws all have massive datacenters all over the EU.

>My extended family lives there and nobody ever explained to Germans that Nuclear is safe.
they border france which gets 70% of their power from nukes and they couldnt figure it out i guess. anti nukes are bad for the enviroment.

euros regulated themselves into customers only. they didnt just miss AI they missed almost all tech.
>>

>My extended family lives there and nobody ever explained to Germans that Nuclear is safe.
as someone who lived 30 years in germany I can tell you its mostly a principle thing. every german student gets the ww2 history indocrinated into their brain. they basically get taught that every german gets born with some kind of original sin because of what """we""" did 80 years ago. so now germany always needs to help out where they can (immigration) or by trying to save the world by not using nuclear power. its all so tiresome.

At the end of the day, the greatest wealth you can have is a loving and healthy family, the larger the better. My grandparents came from nothing, had 8 kids, they stuck together and led wonderful lives. Small fortunes have been lost and many tragedies happened, but they overcame everything. I'm sitting here now looking at my portfolio and thinking about the meaning of it all, and how much it can really matter to a guy with no friends, no gf and no home at 31. It's this bizarre thing where my mind is at ease but my spirit knows something's fucked.

Well, Ideally I would have reinvested it all so that I could have made more money back in april, but I didn't and I wish I was in bigger on october 10th when everything dumped 10% and then violently pumped back up 20% on monday. But the next time I see a big opportunity like a 4 month selloff and then Trump tweets "buy". Yes, that's why I said it's going against the "experts" opinions, according to them adobe had month before getting wrecked by AI... and quarter after quarter still grows +10yoy in subscriptions, forward p/e around 15, debt to equity 50%, 30% net income margin...

I'm always tempted to sell some position and buy, but I always find something less risky. Maybe if it goes again below 330.

nah, these are similar to the no-code solutions of the past. designers need a skeletal workflow for creative work.

ai removes the designer and auto-gens cookie-cutter work. and, from experience, every "creative" sitting at a coffee shop in a major city uses figma. those people do major branding work and rake in 60-100k+.

im bullish on figma, and its on my watchlist. strong buyer around 45.

I think you have to learn a language first in order to know how to do it because the basics and level 2s and 3s of grammar tend to be similar across languages, as welll as know basic grammatical patterns like SVO (Chinese, English) vs. SOV (Japanese) so you can be a weeaboo more effectively. VSO also technically exists but Arabs and Jews do not usually use that word order since their language has been EUROPEEN'D

At such a point you wouldn't need AI since you'd already understand universal human grammar structures enough to know what to look for and then fill it out with vocabulary and then you can sex all the 30yo divorced japanese single moms you want.

>sold at 5000 down in June, right before the absolue bottom
Not only would I have gotten all my money back if I just held another 5 weeks, I would have 4xed my initial 12k....

I thought I understood bear markets so it was okay, then I panicked because bitcoin can literally go down for years and so can the mining stocks. And then they recovered and pumped to new highs the next year or two. Holy fuck. Losing that 5k is why I never put 44k into bitcoin at 16k. I would have made 700k on that DCA.....

CHINESE ACTIONS:
China will suspend the global implementation of the expansive new export controls on rare earths and related measures that it announced on October 9, 2025.
China will issue general licenses valid for exports of rare earths, gallium, germanium, antimony, and graphite for the benefit of U.S. end users and their suppliers around the world. The general license means the de facto removal of controls China imposed in April 2025 and October 2022.
China will take significant measures to end the flow of fentanyl to the United States. Specifically, China will stop the shipment of certain designated chemicals to North America and strictly control exports of certain other chemicals to all destinations in the world.
China will suspend all of the retaliatory tariffs that it has announced since March 4, 2025. This includes tariffs on a vast swath of U.S. agricultural products: chicken, wheat, corn, cotton, sorghum, basedbeans, pork, beef, aquatic products, fruits, vegetables, and dairy products.
China will suspend or remove all of the retaliatory non-tariff countermeasures taken against the United States since March 4, 2025, including China’s listing of certain American companies on its end user and unreliable entity lists.
China will purchase at least 12 million metric tons (MMT) of U.S. basedbeans during the last two months of 2025 and also purchase at least 25 MMT of U.S. basedbeans in each of 2026, 2027, and 2028. Additionally, China will resume purchases of U.S. sorghum and hardwood logs.
China will take appropriate measures to ensure the resumption of trade from Nexperia’s facilities in China, allowing production of critical legacy chips to flow to the rest of the world.
China will remove measures it took in retaliation for the U.S.’s announcement of a Section 301 investigation on China’s Targeting the Maritime..

its an oil major, so its going to be around a long time and paying about 4.3% dividend. BP is slowly rebounding from its disaterous 'green energy' programs. A large investor bought in and forced out the CEO and chairman and demanding BP get back to destroying the environment and producing oil. So it will be a bumpy ride and the BP stock is climbing and they still pay 5% dividend. Also BP is getting a giant contract in Iraq. If their price drops after earnings I am buying in. BP's earning report is before open Tuesday.

it's the US dollar index
everybody hates it and they're positioned accordingly. cash in bottom tenth percentile, net short spec in CoT (very rare for dollar, about as low as it's ever gotten). tape is starting to show strength and i would expect a lot of institutional probable range models to start turning bigly up if DXY doesn't sell back down within 2 weeks. i really don't like to use technicals in forex but the setup looks like a condensed version of the oct '20 - oct '21 double bottom. i would consider long dollar to be consensus trade around then, this time around it's contrarian which makes it more compelling. counter to this would be the laughably bad twin deficits, which actually makes me bearish dollar longer term but for the next couple months at least it's coiled to assblast preeeeeettttttttyyyyyy much everything. would be exactly what one would look for to coincide with a boobl pop but i still think the tech stocks have room to ABSOLUTELY MELT THE FUCK UP even in the face of tightening liquidity (dollar up), perversely it may actually make the market go up faster so long as 401k flows manage to keep flows on the margin net positive. gold is a different story

Haven't suffered any meaningful losses this year due to not going in bigly but holy shitto it's boring. I wish I had /all in/'d on nvidia, or gdxu, or some other third thing months ago. It's terrifying but watching it swing up and down gets the blood moving. Though it's better if the swing is towards the upside, like nvideo.

It should be obvious because I was afraid of suffeering sizable losses. But the whiplash from your portfolio swinging 4000 dollars in a week in either direction makes my penis hard. I guess I'll just keep stacking dollars until I have 140,000 sometime in late 2026 and wait for the big old crasharino so I can go in heavy in early 2028 on stablecoin stocks and then I will kill myself if things don't work out because I've been grinding now for 5 years and I'm getting old.

Anime stays the same no matter how many years pass the MC is always a faggot whether it's 1989 Ah my goddess or 2007 Toloveru or 2025 dandandan. All japanese men beign herbivoresexuals should not be surprising in context.

Why are the most sound financial minds, in the broader scope of their thought, pretty cynical and bearish? Is it just prudence?

I mean, for forever. Been watching a lot of Hedge fund manager interviews and can't help but notice the pervasiveness of bearishness. Id imagine its just a necessary trait of their profession, but was just curious about any other opinions.

I went to schwab bank and the financial advisor basically had a look of disgust when we started talking about AI. I was in some bonds and he was like
>"Yeah its hard to hold bonds when the AI bubble generates 20% returns every year"

Based. There's nothing wrong with cooming but porn unironically destroys your motivation, makes you compulsive, and stresses you out.

All these things absolutely wreck your market performance. In fact, bobos are almost always chronic gooners.
>>
>>61244636
im getting totally raped in the ass right now on a trade that went bad.
>>
>>61244593
no shit, i keep saying this but the worst that will happen is a pullback while ai is still in a build out phase with massive capex money and no idle GPUs

it doesnt mean we're immune to a shorter term pullback so you should still have your hedges in play, but bubbles are lucrative and it'd be retarded to sit out entirely, at least until capex and data centers start going idle

like ppl keep connecting the ai shit to the dotcom bubble but never actually bother to look at how it even came about and popped like come on lol
at least look into what dark fibre is, also look at how capex was prior to that, you can keep an eye out on those 2 things and you'll be ahead of the majority who are still talking about ai circlejerking cash again which is retarded naive way of looking at it
>>
>>61244729
What really gets me is that people point out that $100 billion dollar deal like it's some insanely huge amount of money. It's not even 10% of the valuation of the bigger companies involved. At the peak of the dot com bubble companies were making deals that were 50% plus of their valuation regularly. The current state of the AI stuff is nothing compared to peak dot com mania.

2008 was also a bubble, and it was devastating. You cant use past bubbles to measure current ones because the markets are dynamic. We could literally be awaiting the worst crash in 100 years. No one can really know. But no one cares because we use metrics from 20+ years ago that say
>"hmmm you know relative to this last booble its not that bad so we can continue our giga retard pump to infinity"
There is more to a bubble than just equity price ratios. GDP wouldve fallen last quarter if the tech mafia wasnt shuffling cash between each other. It's literally pic rel. but hey, le heckin equity price ratios are lower than 2001, so it no booble
