Why do people even buy and hold, what you're just going to leave it up to chance?

If you want to make money you need to day trade only the most volatile stocks, like 2x leveraged RGTI. It drops by 20% in the morning and rises by 10% in the afternoon. Just collect your free money and cash out before the next day.

That's not very good risk mitigation. I dislike index funds and i will day trade. But the best way is to broadly spread your largest portion. Let it sit for a few months. Day trade with a small portion. What i personally dislike is index funds and stocks that have like a 2% gain over a year. Those are dumb.

SILICON VALLEY’S $170 BILLION LIE: THE ACCOUNTING FRAUD HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT

They are calling it innovation. The SEC filings call it something else.

META, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Oracle: five titans quietly extended server depreciation from 3 years to 6 years between 2022-2024. Audited. Legal. Disclosed in footnotes nobody reads.

Here’s what that means in English: $400 billion spent annually on Nvidia GPUs that become obsolete every 12 months, depreciated as if they’ll generate cash for six years. The math is simple. The implications are catastrophic.

By 2028, this accounting maneuver will have inflated reported earnings by $170 billion. Not revenue. Pure phantom profit. META alone books $2.9 billion in “savings” by pretending AI servers last 5.5 years.

Oracle’s earnings are overstated 26.9% by fiscal 2028. Every analyst model, every price target, every retirement fund allocation built on earnings that exist only on spreadsheets.

Nvidia ships new architecture every 18 months. Blackwell today. Rubin in 2026. Each generation makes the last economically worthless for frontier AI. Yet balance sheets treat them like they appreciate with age.

The energy math exposes the con: AI demands 200 terawatt-hours of new power by 2027. Grid capacity that doesn’t exist.

Utilization rates already falling below depreciation assumptions. Equipment sitting idle is still being depreciated over six years.

When Amazon reversed course in late 2024 and shortened lives, markets shrugged. That was the warning shot.

META 2024 10-K, page 67. Oracle fiscal 2024 filing, Note 1. Microsoft 2022 adjustment, publicly disclosed. All there. All legal. All designed to smooth earnings through the largest capital deployment in corporate history.

The sector deploys $1.5 trillion through 2028. The depreciation comes due in 36 months. Every comparable historical bubble ended the same way: not with handcuffs, but with footnotes that turned billions into smoke.

I ran a thought expirement test today. I assume that the ceos in the ai companies are using ai to plan their strategies. Because of course they are.

I told it the bubble fear situation and said how should i as the ceo prevent the bubble from popping. I then took it's strategy and had it run a check to determine if any of the companies are actively running a plan thought up by ai. It came back yes. 70% of the plan matches (the other 30% would have required actually losing money short term).

I then had it do a check for the likely probability of success. It said it will work to reach the next milestone but it will bleed a bit. I then presented it with broader factors outside of the ceos ability to control to factor in. It then determined there is a 70% chance of crashing anyways.

It's not AI. It doesn't have an internal model of the world. It doesn't reveal truths. It doesn't work out logical ideas from first principles.
If a r*dditor once speculated it would make sense if AI companies consulted "AI" for business decisions the LLM can call it a theory. If 20 reddit posts and a single MSNBC headline sharts out "COULD AI COMPANIES ALREADY BE CONTROLLED BY AI?" it can hallucinate that there is "expert consensus."

Source data doesn't actually matter in this situation. It's a psychological thing. The people at the ai companies really do believe in it so they will use it as a guide or at the very least brainstorming their strategy. It's kind of cult like.

$1 EPS by 2027 is the target, need it to hit $30 to make up for NXGL lowering guidance and making slow progress towards hitting positive cashflows never mind profitability (vs depreciation etc)

NXGL is eating up my gains from CXDO too aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, good thing i kept it to a 5% position but so was CXDO and IDN

The leymans concept of risk mitigation is completely inverted.

The greatest risk is when you have a large diversified pot of money and let it sit in the market over night. With this strategy you are completely at risk. Your entire portfolio is at risk, every night and every market open, the most volatile times, completely out of your control. Any day the market could crash and you could lose thousands, you will go through Bear markets losing hundreds if not thousands of dollars a day, stubbornly keeping a large portfolio thinking you are mitigating risk when in reality you are opening yourself up to it.

The lowest risk is when you keep 0 money in your portfolio except for the intra-day time period between your buy and your sell. The most amount of money you can lose in a day is strictly controlled by you and your stop loss, you can never wake up to having lost thousands of dollars. It is 10x more safe and reliable to day trade highly volatile leveraged etfs than it is to leave 100k + in the market overnight.
>>
>>61310937

>>
>>61311061
It is definitely time to start shorting.
I was bull through all September and 1/2 October with great gains, but mid October the market switched and it was no longer smart to keep a large diversified portfolio. After the mid-october switch I switched to only intra-day trading shorts and quick pumps and made back all my losses from mid october and am back at ATH.

Bull markets just big a build portfolio and sleep. Bear markets you need to short and day trade.

A portable mortgage allows you to keep your existing mortgage terms—such as the interest rate, remaining balance, and remaining term—and apply them to a new home, rather than having to break your mortgage and start a new one.

Example

Let’s say you:
• Bought your current home with a $300,000 mortgage at 3.5% fixed for 5 years.
• After 3 years, you decide to move to a new house.
• Interest rates have since risen to 6%.

If your mortgage is portable, you can transfer your existing 3.5% mortgage to the new house, avoiding the higher rate and any prepayment penalties for breaking your loan.

They are essentially a global UAV that can take a picture anywhere in the world every single day, and they store all the pictures over the course of years so it can be used for monitoring changes anywhere in the world. Can be environmental applications, images for newspapers, track troop movements, track fires, etc.

My first foray into stock options. Threw down $420 on a palantir short yesterday. Should I cash this out at a 2x?
>>
I'm officially announcing my short position on the DOW Jones Index.
I already have an interview booked on CNBC
>>
>>61311848
If you do, then you will earn 420. But if you don't, then you will learn why you should cash out. And that will be a much more important lesson that will guide you for the rest of your investing life.

FKDNX ? looks like its doing well. If professional fund managers are picking the best stocks for their fund, what makes you think you can do better picking your own? Not saying you cant, but what are you going to do that is better than the Franklin fund manager? You should look to see what the fees are for your franklin fund and compare to Vanguard's VOO fees. Fees can really eat up your gains. Its your money you can sell some of your fund and invest is a particular company, but what stock are you thinking? What is going to do better than the franklin fund? Investing in a specific company means your money goes up and down with the stock and is not averaged out due to diversification. If the price rips do you sell, if the price tanks do you sell or buy more? Figure out a plan before you do it and start small.

>On the budgetary side, President Macron announced increased spending in both the country’s military and civil space programmes.

>France’s current military budget allocates approximately €6 billion to space-related defence projects for the 2024–2030 period. During his speech, President Macron announced an additional €4.2 billion for 2026–2030, a roughly 70 percent increase that brings the total planned military space budget to around €10.2 billion.

>While civil spending figures are less clearly defined, France currently invests an estimated €2.3 to €2.4 billion per year in its civil space programme. Macron has proposed total civil spending of €16 billion between now and 2030, representing an increase of roughly 30 to 40 percent over current levels.

and it's managed pretty well, plus they own golden share on very profittable companies like safran, engie, dassault, airbus, thales.... all backed by frances diplomacy and with positive profit margins inyected back into the government. That's not a problem. Your pic is, and that's political, and related to the yellow jackets, even the dgse makes public reports on the yellow jacket movement.

This fulltime NVDA/PLTR shareholder is very excited to see the government open back up. Now we can return to the government mandated pumping of the chosen winners (me). The best nation on Earth, the two best companies on the planet, and a buffet of USD to enjoy. Wow, what a fantastic future for me, I'm going to receive so much free money today

LOOKING OUTWARD
November 13
We ask especially for freedom from self-will, and are careful to make no requests for ourselves only. We may ask for ourselves, however, if others will be helped. We are careful never to pray for our own selfish ends.

ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS, p. 87

As an active alcoholic, I allowed selfishness to run rampant in my life. I was so attached to my drinking and other selfish habits that people and moral principles came second. Now, when I pray for the good of others rather than my "own selfish ends," I practice a discipline in letting go of selfish attachments, caring for my fellows and preparing for the day when I will be required to let go of all earthly attachments.

Selfishness is a hard character defect to shake. I will admit that I am still somewhat selfish, though not as much as my drinking days. I am certainly greedy. Still, today I will make a conscious effort to acknowledge that all my gains are but earthly attachments. At the very least I will be happy for the gains of others, and always be supportive of other anons trying to make it. Good luck anon, let's concentrate on moral principals today and keep good intentions in our hearts.
