>>
>A fund manager is sitting in his office when a family of blue-chip stocks barges in: PG, KO, JNJ, TGT, MDT, LOW, MMM, the whole S&P dividend crew
>"We've got a portfolio for you, something truly premium," they say
>"Everyone says that," the agent says, sighing. "What's your angle?"
>PH steps forward. "First, KO pops its top and sprays a frothy earnings surprise all over the room."
>TGT jumps in. "Next, I start aggressively expanding my margins in front of everyone."
>JNJ speaks next "That's when I unveil my triple-segment synergy play, fully diversified and absolutely inappropriate for any sane regulatory environment."
>LOW adds in, "And then I lever up. Not debt baby, we're talking leverage - right over MMM who's trying to maintain a stable yield while I'm edging volatility through the roof"
>MDT finishes calmly, "And I handle all the irregular activity of course. I'm used to it"

>By now the office is a mess of mispriced risk, unhedged positions, and wildly unstable liquidity. The agent is speechless. Finally, he manages "My god... what do you call a portfolio like that?"

I'm down 9.84% in the past two days due to doing uncharacteristically stupid shit
I fucking hate having to cope with losses
None of the common platitudes like "Think of it as a paid lesson" or "you won't even notice or remember this hitch in a few years" ever help at all.
The vastly accelerated, hyper competitive rat race of the modern age means that any kind of loss, especially one of this magnitude pretty much permanently downgrades your potential as a human being because that's a big chunk of your snowball that you are literally never getting back.
If you're losing money at all, you are falling behind someone that isn't.

This is unimaginably tiresome
Everytime this happens, it doesn't fade away like some old scar, it just accumulates in the back of my mind and weighs down on me ever so slightly more

Apple can't exist without a strong china. Like tesla they will be faster outcompeted by a dying CCP then catered to. China can kick apple's suppliers out and the supply chain to build a new phone or mac will go bust. Eventually a pro CCP president will replace trump and lift tariffs and destroy apple. Biden was a last shot at rebuilding supply chains in america but failed cause populism won again.

Google doesn't pay high enough dividends to fund itself with shareholders like a mature company. They either do that soon or pray the federal government will continue to fund black holes like youtube. If gemini doesn't mature enough in profits the company could implode if the economy causes a major political upheaval and a pro socialist president is elected.

nvidia can be privatized by the CCP before 2030. The US navy is done, there was no deep state. The bureaucrats that kept things running have been laid off by DOGE. Musk is a putin asset, xi's replacement will have no second guesses about invading taiwan and arresting nvidia/amd executives.

META peaked. VR went nowhere, social media is dying, oracle won with tiktok, google and china have beat them in AI. Zucc will probably just coast the company and sell the tech off to valve.

Amazon will go down after google or apple. If apple starts failing they are done. If google starts failing they are done. They are not in a vacuum and too dependent on a gone era of society.

Tesla is done. They at best can cannibalize other car makers outside china but their growth is far priced in. China will eventually push tesla into being the new enron but by the time china gets EVs into US market china will have collapsed into districts or copying putin's agenda of failed operations.

>Microsoft has lowered sales growth targets for its AI agent products after many salespeople missed their quotas in the fiscal year ending in June, according to a report Wednesday from The Information. The adjustment is reportedly unusual for Microsoft, and it comes after the company missed a number of ambitious sales goals for its AI offerings.

>AI agents are specialized implementations of AI language models designed to perform multistep tasks autonomously rather than simply responding to single prompts. So-called “agentic” features have been central to Microsoft’s 2025 sales pitch: At its Build conference in May, the company declared that it has entered “the era of AI agents.”

>According to The Information, one US Azure sales unit set quotas for salespeople to increase customer spending on a product called Foundry, which helps customers develop AI applications, by 50 percent. Less than a fifth of salespeople in that unit met their Foundry sales growth targets. In July, Microsoft lowered those targets to roughly 25 percent growth for the current fiscal year. In another US Azure unit, most salespeople failed to meet an earlier quota to double Foundry sales, and Microsoft cut their quotas to 50 percent for the current fiscal year.

>The sales figures suggest enterprises aren’t yet willing to pay premium prices for these AI agent tools. And Microsoft’s Copilot itself has faced a brand preference challenge: Earlier this year, Bloomberg reported that Microsoft salespeople were having trouble selling Copilot to enterprises because many employees prefer ChatGPT instead. The drugmaker Amgen reportedly bought Copilot software for 20,000 staffers, but many employees gravitated toward OpenAI’s chatbot instead, with Copilot mainly used for Microsoft-specific tasks like Outlook and Teams.

What did they mean by this? AI bubble gonna trigger a global financial crisis in 2026 when it inevitably pops?

Bros, I think I finally won against the telemarketer scammers.

You know about that infamous Medicare "part a or b" cold calling scam this year? Well I kept getting calls from them for a while and I stubbornly kept yelling at them while saying they are all niggers and pajeets over and over again. Last time they called, I told them they can eat a faggot's ass and catch aids, then it was quiet on their end for a whole minute, then some dude came on and said "you're on no call, piss off" and CLICK. Now, I haven't received a single call for over a month from those douchebags.

To celebrate I'm buying more telecom stocks. I wish there was an app on your phone that automatically plays loud ear rape videos on youtube whenever you 'answer' those scammers kek.

That's still 6% too many. Blown on options.
And I'm not so optimistic about it coming back as soon as you say as that would require me to either continue gambling options, or for the market to blow far past the ATH in the next couple of weeks.

The problem is that i'm an idiot and get impatient and do something stupid every couple of years after getting too comfortable
Swing trading, CFDs, now options - tried all and eventually got fucked every time.
Basically the only thing in the past 5 years or so that I wasn't dumb enough to try was shitcoins during the JesusSonicCumDogeCoin craze.

The only hope is that I run out of stupid shit to "try" and get bored of finance altogether.
I guess the takeaway really is that I am just too stupid, too impatient and too desperate to make it somewhere. Which is exactly why i'm not going to as long as I keep trying.

No way they pull the plug on datacenters now, most of them aren't even built yet nor do they have a use for thier hardware. A datacenter that bought several millions worth of graphics cards can't just 'return' all of the specialized cards like they bought a $300 card off Newegg. The datacenters are locked in at this point, they can't turn back.

>>
>>61482836
>too big to fail
Oh don't get me wrong, it can ABSOLUTELY fail, but they cannot pull money out of it at this point because the hardware and orders have to go somewhere.
If this were general computing hardware, they could flood the market at a reasonable price and make their money back, it's not, it only works on datacenters. Most of the hardware they ordered isn't even made yet and they can't just swap the fabs out to make regular consumer hardware. We're talking the same as eating a AAA meal at a big restaurant and revealing to the waiter you have no money. They aren't just going to let you walk out the door.

Thats' why Micron was having such an explosion earlier in the week when they announced their entire 2026 lineup of chips were already bought by datacenters.

All this before the inevitable correction around summer 2028 due to election fears

So where do you see the floor? I'm nibbling at this moment. But I will say I'm nibbling aggressively and idk if I will sell anymore contracts until that head and shoulders on the daily is fully realized. I'll give you my current allocation
>53% unrestricted available settled cash
>18% long stock at $155 cost basis
>29% cash secured puts for next Friday strikes ranging from the 50 Delta to the 15 Delta, I have pretty good costs on them as of end of day today
I made the decision to sell my next week contracts today, we'll see if it ends up being a good call or not come Monday. Might do nothing next week except close for profit if available and if not, take assignment. I'm ok buying here, but I need to be conservative with that other 50% in case we get a VIX 80 event tail risk event.

>mram mentioned
ya i own this company. mram has some real advantages over other types, uses less electricity and is resilient to power failures, makes it ideal for satellites or critical infrastructure. it also has faster write-time than dram which might give it utility in ai systems, but it doesn't scale down as easily as dram so for the time being it's still not worth it. with better fabrication technologies though it may one day replace dram altogether, and everspin is the category leader. it is an important niche technology for space and military tech at the moment and has massive upside potential as nanotech improves. their ip is worth a lot, it's just still a very small market.

>In September, Nvidia said it had signed a letter of intent with OpenAI to deploy at least 10 gigawatts of Nvidia equipment for the San Francisco artificial intelligence startup. The first phase of that project is expected in the second half of 2026.

>Nvidia and OpenAI said in a September statement that they “look forward to finalizing the details of this new phase of strategic partnership in the coming weeks.”

>But no announcement has come yet.

>In a November filing, Nvidia said “there is no assurance that we will enter into definitive agreements with respect to the OpenAI opportunity.”

>On Thursday, Broadcom CEO Hock Tan laid out a timeline for the OpenAI work, which was announced in October. Broadcom and OpenAI said they had signed a term sheet.

>“It’s more like 2027, 2028, 2029, 10 gigawatts, that was the OpenAI discussion,” Tan said on Broadcom’s earnings call. “And that’s, I call it, an agreement, an alignment of where we’re headed with respect to a very respected and valued customer, OpenAI. But we do not expect much in 2026.”

The hilarious part is that Hock Tan the CEO of Broadcom is responsible for this because he was very honest and upfront with investors during the earnings call that's when everything turned to shit he didn't just lie or sugarcoat about the sales, profit margin and the timeline involved all which were worse than the investor had thought by a long margin because they believed the sales pitch of AGI in 2 more weeks and a robot waifu tonguing your anus soon after

Mining supply up, industrial demand down only half of production is used by industry,,,,,looks bleak for silver baggies

The only way silver goes up is if they find more suckers to buy as prices go higher and the tens of billions of ounces of existing silver don't get sold

I don't understand space stocks. What even is the Planet Labs thesis? Sure, the high resolution images from space are cool and an improvement but how is this going to be monetized? People are saying it will be used to analyze changes in the planet, but you don't need a high resolution for that, you see vegetation and shit on low res as well.

Good morning
I slept well and have begun the weekend cope process

The current progress is telling myself that the gains of the past two months were never real so I didn't really lose anything
The fact that that I'm massively underperforming the benchmark is complicating the procedure but the cope is still a work in progress

It's fascination to me how many people in this board manage to lose money in a bull market.
Just buy the companies everyone likes an do nothing. I'm +49% this year and I haven't made a trade since april when I bought mag 7 after the tariff crash.

>impossible to buy at a fair price
What is a fair price for a company in a completely new field with limitless possibilities? What is a fair price for a company that is willing to pivot and disrupt its own industry as technology advances?
To look at it another way, if it takes longer than the rest of your lifetime for a company's fair price to be discovered, should it matter to you? It has been 15 years since Tesla IPOd at 17 bucks a share. It wasn't at a "fair price" then, it's not at a "fair price" now.
Depending on your time horizon, classical fundamental analysis stops being useful. Doubly true when we're talking about something as monumental as space exploration or AI. Imagine trying to price the value of westward expansion as it was happening.

Is it true boys? Can we really pick up some mega cheapies in a couple of months?

Mark Spitznagel, chief investment officer and founder of Universa Investments, told MarketWatch he expected an '80% crash' was lurking around the corner.

'I expect an 80% crash when this is over. I just don't think this is it. This is a trap,' he said, adding that when the real crash happens, investors will know it.

Spitznagel's fund was one of the big winners during the extreme volatility that rocked markets in the early days of the pandemic in 2020, returning a whopping 4,144% in Q1 of the Covid-affected year.

'This is another selloff to shake people out. This isn't Armageddon. That time will come as the bubble bursts,' he said in comments to MarketWatch.

Sk hynix earnings were huge, and so guidance. Being them their main competition, Micron is an American company with actual fabs and rotating straight ahead AI dropping consumers... Well, It looks good on HOLDING for at least these two days coming.

>>61484766
Micron has to beat $3.90 EPS
>>
>>61484766

Oh and they'll, but yeah, the important part is the future guidance, Which could be huge after they full ported into Enterprise/Data Centers and dropped low margin gamers.
>>
>>61484712
I am perfectly happy to pay a premium for growth, but this
>What is a fair price for a company in a completely new field with limitless possibilities?
is literally the kind of thinking that creates bubbles. Tesla has been working out up till now because Musk has managed to keep the grift going for an unusually long time. First it was a car company, then a tech company, then a robotics/AI company, and when the AI bubble pops it'll probably merge with SpaceX and become an asteroid mining company or some other bullshit.
Betting on grifters and the cults who form around them isn't a safe way to make money, though it can be very profitable.
