They do miss though Oracle missed on revenue and only beat on EPS because of their sale of their stake in Ampere same with AVGO they missed on EPS if it wasn't for tax breaks and accounting their revenue from AI was lackluster hence the dumping
>>
RZLV is up 30% at the moment. Small cap AI trade is showing signs of life.

Oracle didn't miss, the ajustments and tax credit were priced in.

>>61498603
We have barely begun to scratch the surface of utilizing AI.
I would argue we need a better approach (unless we solve the synthetic data problem), but we've barely begun to figure out how to meaningfully work within AI's constraints to do tasks

Plus there are some other solvable problems that are reasonable, like if we can solve Catastrophic Forgetting we could suddenly have a model that remembers and learns on the fly instead of taking months to update
AI today right now is the best Intellisense ever for coding. If you constrain it to tiny problem spaces it does great
>>
>>61498659
It did miss because the EPS didn't come from revenue they can't sell their stake in Ampere to make up 1/3rd of their earnings again
>>

Well the biggest issue is that the people making most of the money, well all of the money, with AI are the hardware side. Just setting it up. Imagine if software improves so AI doesn't require hundreds of billions of dollars in hardware for training

>>
>>61498661
>unless we solve the synthetic data problem
You can't. You can only get fuck tons of training data through automated scraping and the output is everywhere now. No, AI detection for text does not work, outside of being reasonably confident that text with typos or slurs is probably human.
>but we've barely begun to figure out how to meaningfully work within AI's constraints to do tasks
It's fancy auto complete. The tasks it can do are very limited. Machine learning in general has many useful applications of course, but the limiting factor in almost all of thrm is robotics, not the need for even fucking bigger data centers.

If they knew about the sale why was the EPS so much lower than it achieved which was only due to the sale? A third of their revenue was from the sale and the stock not tumbling further is because without Oracle the AI revolution dies they're a cornerstone of OpenAI building data centres you seem to think people aren't willingly deluding themselves about all this as if it isn't something that commonly happens which is why there's market crashes

Margins were low. Effects of supply constraint on input costs have become more severe than anticipated. Prices can't be raised to compensate because hyperscalers are already maxed out on spending. This is going to become a more serious problem.

Britain and France started that war. Germany just wanted their country back (their country that Britain and France had sliced up two decades before). Britain was the evil Imperialist in that war (and the previous war, and every other war since Henry Tudor), controlling three quarters of the globe as they did.
Britain to this day still thinks only they get to decide what the borders of every other nation in the world should be. That's why hundreds of thousands have been killed in Ukraine and Putin gets labeled the aggressor despite the fact that the US, UK and EU were trying to force Ukraine to cut ties to Russia and kick them out of Sevastopol and that led to intolerable provocation against ethnic Russians in Ukraine (and Russia itself), his only other aggression was in Georgia to protect the ethnic Russians who lived in Ossetia and there have not been any further imperialist moves in that region since then.

Nah. The interest rates the past few years have made stables very profitable for the issuers and you don't need a big team to run them. They're free money printers if you just don't literally steal from them or commit massive fraud. Even if BTC went to 0 if the accounting was done properly stables would still be fine. It's not some weird LUNC thing, it's literally just billions of dollars generating millions of dollars in short term treasuries. The worst that could happen is the equivalent of a bank run, but redeeming directly from one of the stable issuers requires being an accredited investor and they'll only let you redeem if you have more than 6 figures.

No one "needs" to buy the stablecoins. The money backing them should already be there before they're minted and then just collect interest on it. The only way for them to not be there is if you were to directly pull them out, which is very tough and requires a large sum. Like I said, the only danger is a huge bank run which would leave them without enough interest on their T-bills to continue to run the operation. It's just a boring bank at the end of the day.

Chinks get to annihilate us in earnings because the difference in capability between a 90% model and a 100% model is academic. They don't have to care if they're 10% slower, we're not changing the world with our models to begin with, we can't even find a market for them.

If they can make deepseek and undercut this entire retard market with models that can be had for fractions of the cost, most power to them.

The Software industry can't carry every other tech industry on its back, that's why the margins promised make no sense. The promise wasn't for only software companies to supplement labor.

Worse: software companies can roll their own models, and they're generally proven to be more effective than general purpose agentic AI. They don't need generalized agentic AI, they need specialized coding AI which is far less at the forefront than general purpose agentic LLMs have been.

In short, the market as invested in the correct tech but is applying it incorrectly for its consumer base.

It's occured to me that in a rational world, the hardware crunch, driven by AI tech, could finally drive consumer electronics outside the affordable range (as in game consoles and shit)
And then if consumer tech gets out of reach, we'd see the end of "well consumer spending is still strong :)" and maybe, consequently, some of our serious economic problems would finally be reflected by markets. See what I'm saying? Silicone Valleys' greed for graphics cards could cut off our bread and circuses in a critical sector.
Or maybe I'm overestimating the demand for PC parts. If there's one thing I've learned in life it's that bears normally get buckbusted.

At some point things have to pull back. The reason tech became anywhere near a powerhouse at all was because it eventually became affordable enough for everyone to have it.

The tech giants don't realize or care that they're spelling the doom of a 50 year old tech industry by ripping it out of the hands of the ordinary person. The normalfag doesn't need a high-end phone, PC, or video game console. They can live without those and find other hobbies, and the realization of that happening would result in a tech winter harsher than the dot com bubble ever was. Nobody wants that and I doubt they'll let it get to that point.

>They can get free money from loans
You could do the same thing if you owned a house and wanted to take out an equity loan. You could do the same thing if you had equity in your robinhood margin account.
What you don't get is that when you take a loan you have to pay it back.
When you pay it back, you have to pay cash, which means you create a taxable event to get the cash, whether it's income or cashing out some securities.

I don't know how the fuck you're going to start a war today. When I was a kid all media was about killing muslims in the middle east. Movies, songs, vidya. Heard The Angry American play on the school bus every single day for years. Call of Duty too boring? Well, you've got Halo but the plots' still about a cool American-flavored spaceman blowing away religious fanatics. Half my class wanted to join the army.
Look at us now. If Mr Orange wants us to go to war, he forgot to prime us with a few years of propaganda. No child is going on tiktok and getting hyped for the military. What do they have? That hot bitch who dances sexy in front of tanks. That's IT. Even the republican kids are getting impressed by Indian retvrnshit that has zero loyalty to the American military enterprise, and the liberal kids are communists. And among normie media everyone is a peacenik now except for the most stringent neolibs. Nobody wants to join a fucking army. I don't think it's gonna happen for that reason alone, the public appetite for a war can't get lower.

Last year when unemployment jumped the market ended red. And back then rates were higher, more room to cut. Now? There's less room. The yields are almost at the same level. The unemployment is even higher. And the market doesn't care. This is either a fuckin trap or fuckin retarded.
