I love my wife,God bless her heart she's the only one that asked me what I wanted who actually gifted me silver.
The morgan is nice, but she said the $1 24k plated coins came with the morgan as a 2 for one deal.
I can only imagine the premium she paid for all three, probably $100 for the set.
And $60 value

Oh well in the vault they go.

ive been buying gold and silver (mostly silver) since 2015. 10 years later my stack has grown 4X with no stopping in sight. told people at work to use a 10-10-10 method and they all balked at the idea (and these are folks who were making 100K a year)

World turns black and white
Pictures in an empty room
Your love starts fallin' down
Better change your tune
Yeah, you reach for the golden ring
Reach for the sky
Baby, just spread your wings
And get higher and higher
Straight up we'll climb
We'll get higher and higher
Leave it all behind
Run, run, run away
Like a train runnin' off the track
Got the truth bein' left behind
Fall between the cracks
Standin' on broken dreams
Never losin' sight, ah
Well, just spread your wings
We'll get higher and higher
Straight up we'll climb
We'll get higher and higher
Leave it all behind
So baby, dry your eyes
Save all the tears you've cried
Oh, that's what dreams are made of
'Cause we belong
In a world that must be strong
Oh, that's what dreams are made of
Yeah, we'll get higher and higher
Straight up we'll climb
Higher and higher
Leave it all behind
Oh, we'll get higher and higher
Who knows what we'll find?
So baby, dry your eyes
Save all the tears you've cried
Oh, that's what dreams are made of
Oh baby, we belong
In a world that must be strong
Oh, that's what dreams are made of
And in the end
On dreams we will depend
'Cause that's what love is made of

Very interesting day today. Feels like a watershed. Nothing could stop the metals. There was no amount of paper they could throw at it. The depth of liquidity in the markets in gold and silver is becoming too deep for anyone to manipulate. It’s taking on a life of its own now. January will be interesting. The bullion banks are going long now. Only a matter of time. I think first quarter 2026 will be explosive.

Watch the mainstream now. The inside money is taking big positions. They will queue retail soon.

Im wearing a fat silver cuban link bros. It was hand made by cubans in miami. Its 105 grams, i paid $500 in november 2023. Silver needs to reach over 150 dollars an ounce for me to break even. Worth it?

It’s interesting to watch the best PM commodity channels. They almost can’t believe what’s happening. They’ve waited so long and been burned so much. I’ve watched them. And of course always understood they were correct but just couldn’t time it because they don’t get geopolitics dictates the timing. You need to take in both spheres and more if you want to Time it. That’s why I went all in in 2022. I’m making a fortune.

But I’m finding it very hard now to find reason not to see a major pivot. And I’m cautious.

I was just noticing that the huge spikes in silver and platinum started in April 2025. What happened? Any explanation that was already going on before April 2025 doesn't explain a spike that started at that time.

Yeah. I have some chains that I need spot to go to either $120 or $160 to break even depending on the size. All mine are Italian Sterling.

So it was Trump's tariffs that he started on April 2? I asked ChatGPT if it was, and it said flat-out no. I asked it if it was sure, and it said yes.
>>
>>61528066

One person I watch. Who’s completely in tune. And I’m sure many understand. Because he shoots so straight. Is Eric Sprott. I’m sure many of you saw his the other day. He was without reservation. Excited.

You could tell he’s completely positioned. Actually bothered he was restricted by regulation he wasn’t able to buy more.

Not trumps tarrifs. Chinese export controls. You remember trump crying about china not selling magnets and rare earths? They cut off the flow of silver too.

What is it about silver at an atomic level that slows it to conduct electricity so well.
Is there really nothing else that does it better? Not even some composite material?

I find it fascinating that it is also the most reflective.
And someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it also is the best conductor of sound waves too?

ChatGPT says China started the export controls on April 4, which was two days after Trump put on his Liberation Day tariffs on April 2. That sounds like retaliation, which was initiated by the tariffs, which would make Trump's tariffs the root cause.

Maybe it was a stupid question.
I was kind of hoping someone would have a cool answer about how the silver moluces hold each other very tightly or something.
Hold on. I should have just googled it.
-
Silver is so reflective because
its atomic structure has free electrons in the outermost shell that easily oscillate (vibrate) when light hits the surface, absorbing the photon's energy and then immediately re-emitting it as another photon

This probably has to do with the electrical conductivity too.

Trump is in power until 2029 and America is grabbing oil tankers meaning trump is willing to literally seize resources that are in transit Somali pirate style. Do you think china will change their mind about their export controls?
>>
>>61528144
The fundamentals are still there?
>Commodity war ends (unlikely)

There are still deficits, still hungry EVs and solar panels (especially when the next demonrat gets in office 2028), still cheap oil which is good for miners, still a rapid decline in dollarydoo purchasing power, still skyrocketing prices for important things like home/food/cars.
>>
>>61528140

Google about the origin of gold. That’s an interesting one. They actually still don’t know for sure. Current speculation is the extreme energy in kilanovas and magnetar earthquakes. Very exotic and incredibly energetic events that allow neutron capture for heavy elements. So basically not from earth or our star. Or even stars like ours. And gold rained from the interstellar medium from these ancient violet events. Like heavenly money from God or the universe. So we knew gold was rare and hard to counterfeit. But just how rare and impossible to counterfeit we are still wondering about.

Well I think it’s a decent amount of material, sterling is generally more or less 92.5 silver then that leaves a remaining 7.5 left over of undesired metal.
Compared to the size of the oz I think there is a decent chance for it to have over 2 but 3 or under ounces worth of silver.
So if currently 3 ounces is 237 dollars at spot I think it’s not a particularly bad deal.
Especially considering the silver value will go up.

They are, but do they have the capacity to diamond hand it when you are able to trade an ounce for a lambo? Doubtful. Jeets are inherently paper handed, although they do love gold so who knows.

I suspect what’s going to happen is most of them will paper hand it and a handful of richjeets will acquire mountain sized piles of the stuff. Although it would be fun if they all held and become super rich while living in toxic smog and mountains of trash kek.

Private capital went all in on AI. Even if it works. China will sell it cheaper. Western consumers dying under debt load. Future growth in Asia which we are hilariously threatening to go to war with. It’s too late after a long day to type a long reply. But we need to return to the median. Get back to making things and not paper. It’s inevitable.

So the circular finance that’s being goin on. In AI. Now SoftBank. Why have made a commitment to fund about 20 billion to OpenAI. Which OpenAI have already spent. Now SoftBank can’t raise it. And they are selling NVIDIA shares and laying people off to try make the commitment. The whole point of circular finance (a fraud) is that it’s self reinforcing. Until it’s not. Then it’s the opposite. There’s now an obvious collapse in AI. As in buying of bonds to finance it. To the degree the are cutting off their own skin.

Red alert it means. Get the fuck out of ai or ai adjacent NOW.

Nice. I wonder if they cap the number of coins that can be sent in. 210 is a lot. Were you thinking of getting the 1 oz or 10 oz bar version of that coin?
>>
>>61528441

Maybe. But then EVERYONE knows it’s a meltdown. Where does the capital run to then? Where’s the next opportunity?

Here’s how financing works. OpenAI need 20 billion. SoftBank organise the funding. By that it means the lend the money but upfront. Then the organise that lending into an investment vehicle (takes about a year). Like layered CDOs during 2008. Then they flog them to funds and insurance companies and pension funds and sovereign wealth funds etc. but it takes time. So they have to keep it on their books while legal and financial organises it. Remeber margin call? So now they have the vehicles. AND NOBODY is buying it. And it’s so bad they are actually selling their NVIDIA and cutting staff to make the interest while it’s on their books. They can’t get rid of it. The whole point of being someone like SoftBank. Is they make money on the transaction not the loan. They are the middle man.

Just watch margin call. They are Kevin Spacey and his team.

I don't know about silver in Thailand, but I have first hand experience with gold and you can get spot for Gold Eagles, Krugs, and Maples. And a woman I know has been paying for constructing an apartment building by selling her gold bars. They were Thai gold bars, I think about 10 ounces each. And the Thai government has recently been making noises about more regulations on gold transactions. Not sure exactly what they are getting at, but it is clear that gold circulates in Thailand. Also, the Thai Bhat has been gaining strength against the dollar for some time, which the government doesn't like because it hurts tourism.

I fear I won’t be able to make it… I am well positioned, but have been going insane since learning that I’m FAR closer to a specific round number than I could’ve imagined. The issue is that, while I’m reasonably close to that number if considering all of my metal, I’m only about 80% of the way there with .999> pieces. This final 20% is more than dollar cost averaging can supplement, I’m afraid… go on without me…

To further my blog post, I was dumped by the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with last year. It’s a shitty consolation prize, but diverting money I had been saving to buy a house towards boomer rocks has set me up very nicely

That stack of gold is astounding, for sure. Even when I started stacking as a youngst lad in college, $800 gold was a pretty penny. To see that much all in one time would imply you have been stacking a long time, or you traded in a 401k or downsized a house. It's a hell of a lot when paired against your weekly wage check or even most people's annual salary.
Fortunately, the GSR is still quite wide and a stack this large is easily attainable with a bit of patience.

Everyone is allowed to treat themselves to pieces that are esthetic, culturally significant, historic, or simply cute. 99%+ of our silver is investment grade, but...

My better half bought some painted silver medallions featuring the roses of Kazanlak, Bulgaria. The rose oil produced in that region, derived from the rose petals (4000kg petals per kg of oil) was worth more than it's weight in gold to the perfumers in France.

The medallions were above spot when originally purchased, and are in capsules in a velvet lined nice wooden display case.

Yes. Sell only if you have to. I was unemployed for a year and had to dip into my stack. Long term, silver will always be worth more dollars in the future. I might trade some silver for gold when the ratio gets down to 1:20, but maybe not. Silver has much more promising industrial use cases. I'm planning to keep mine until land prices/housing fall. picrel is even worse after multiple rounds of qe post covid.

>Would you guys buy Silver right now instead of index funds?
yes
>What kind of price target would make sense to sell?
>Are you guys holding to eventually rotate into something else
I'm not selling until I can get enough real world tangible assets in exchange for my silver that would enable me to completely disconnect from the system. Primarily this is land with healthy soil and maybe even running water, but it could include tools, livestock, a proper wife(s) etc. Even then aiming for such an exchange to take less than half of my stack so I dont blow my wad all in one place
>is it a decade long kind of hold?
most likely. It is certainly possible we see a pullback to 50 and crab for a year or two. But long term the fundamentals dont change. The FED, and the world in general, is run by greedy kikes who dont know when to stop and are killing their golden goose by importing infinity jeets, spics, niggers etc. All FIAT currencies ever have ended in hyperinflation and being worthless.
>>61528996

100 oz may buy you a modest house or a small homestead.

When the economy crashes, many boomers will die off rather suddenly from various reasons, including despondency/suicide over losing all their life savings. Loss of access to advanced medical support (dialysis, etc) and of course being murdered by diverse nursing home staff.

At the same time, all welfare support to illegals will be severely scrutinized. America has become so corrupt, they don't even know how many billions are being stolen by illegals from federal and state assistance programs. Many of these illegals (and even some legals) will self deport.

When real estate prices crash 40%+ it will take out the banks, or alternately, they will print the US dollar into hyperinflation.

This is the reason why 100oz of fine silver will buy a modest house or a small homestead, and why a Mercury dime will be worth some good licks on a lollypop.

A few 10 oz bars and a couple of kilo bars too. You're going to like the heft of the bars.

Just hold and only ever spend your silver on land, family, or emergencies.
Everyone is different, so you will know when the time is right.
If I reach my price targets I will then look for my exit strategy. No use in stressing now because we don't know how the world will be when we need to spend it.

In my fantasy dream world I'll be able to use my stack as collateral for a loan and use that to buy land.
I would slowly pay off the loan and ideally the silver would continue to appreciate, allowing me to benefit from still owning it.
Idk how or where I'll get a deal like that, but that's my dream plan.

Also be aware of people here advising to trade the gold silver ratio. Have a plan in your mind and stick with it.

I wouldn't spend 60k at once on silver, unless there was a dip. We're at all time highs right now and it just keeps going up. Do you have any already? Spend maybe 6-20k max right now. Time in the market beats timing the market, but I think there will be a pullback in q1 that could present a good entry point.

Check out findbullionprices.com and compare prices across the major sites. Look into your lcs. To start with, get a kilo, some junk silver (because its on sale everywhere... refiners aren't buying it right now), get the starter kit from moneymetals and any other site that offers at spot deals for new customers. Pick a size you like and start stacking. I like having a variety, but kilos are my favorite.

Silver is weird. This isn't like 1980 or 2011. Something else is going on this time. I was hesitant about buying at 50 and fomo'd into10 more ounces yesterday because I could afford it. I think we will see silver at over 100 dollars next year, but if I'm wrong I'm only down a little bit of money I can afford to lose or a few ounces I could by next month at cheaper prices potentially. Silver will never be worth nothing.

if you really dont want to trust the system, but dont have the balls to cut your losses and break free. look into DRS. my guess is PSLV, but thats only from passive learning.
DRS is what will get brokers and shills to crawl up your ass, it effectively removes shares from their pool and records them to you personally.

also the toxicity of the MBS market that was never fixed after 2008, combine that with the money printing over the last decade and a half. AND wages arent keeping up with home prices, so they are debt instead of assets.

>Is it possible to buy Silver through one's 401k?
I'm not sure, I know you can buy paper silver. Like you pay a company to 'own' silver that they store in their vault. That they TOTALLY aren't lying about their reserve amounts.
You could take a loan out against your 401k to buy silver, the rise in silver spot will almost certainly outpace the interest you would pay on such a loan.
>So how far do you think Silver can go within the next decade?
Decade is hard to predict, I would say bare minimum is 250 an oz within a decade. I have a much, much higher price in mind, but I realize that a lot of things have to Cohencide for that to happen.

>Sell only if you have to.
A better way, if it can be arranged, is to get a loan from a friend or relative using silver as the collateral. You pay them back and get your silver.

Obviously not everyone is in a position to do this.

Good for metals because computers use metals but all of those companies minus maybe t-mobile are going to run out of money before they turn any of the data centers on (they won’t be able to source enough electricity to power them anyway).

With that said, how do you store the Silver? I'm living in an apartment. Idk how to go about it. I've just got one safe. I might need a private, insured company to hold them.

This is all ignoring the fact that openAI hasn’t generated any profit, doesn’t really have any plans to generate profit, because they don’t know how to generate profit from any of these projects. (The more they advance these LLMs the more expensive they get to run).

If you don't hold it, you don't own it. Never put your PMs in a place you can't always access. A security deposit is not a safe place, and neither is a private company's vault.

>Blackrock may scoop I suppose but even they have limits.
(((Blackrock))) was getting funds DIRECTLY from the Federal Reserve at 0.15% to buy up real estate. Blackrock is literally one of the Federal Reserve's personal hedge fund used for pumping the stock market with QE.

People ITT can probably guess the names of the other funds the Federal Reserve has been using.

The point I'm trying to make is that EVEN IF the Federal Reserve decides to try and pump up the housing market, all it does is devalue the currency even more.

Stackers win under every contingency when a fiat currency is entering it's death spiral.

Not telling you what to do but the most bang for the buck is probably 10 ounce bars. They have the lowest premium but aren't too big to sell if you need to. American Silver Eagles would be most preferred but you are way too late in the game for that.

The people saying silver is topped out don't understand whats happening right now. The COMEX/LBMA are lying about how much silver is available and their price fixing system is failing because of this. Once they default the prices are going to skyrocket and physical supply will disappear.

>Do you have any opinion on BTC?
the opportunity for mad gains on crypto was years ago, it might have another rally sure, but its directly correlated to the stock market now that big money is involved. Also, you would do well not to mention crypto further in /pmg/. Its widely considered a holding of faggots and browns round these parts
> I've just got one safe. I might need a private, insured company to hold them.
no, dont ever let anyone else hold your metal. You might as well not even buy it if you do that. Half the advantage of owning PMs is that for the system to rob you, they literally have to break down your door and physically take it from you instead of changing some 1s and 0s in a computer. If you give that power away to a third parrty, your missing the whole point. The best security is never telling anyone you stack. You will want to, believe me. It feels amazing having a stack of rocks that gets more and more valuable the more the wheels come off the pozzed system we live in, and you'll want to share this amazing feeling with your friends and family. But if no one knows about your silver, its mostly safe.
>apartment
hopefully you dont live where there are too many niggers around. Keep them in a couple non descript boxes, like amazon boxes or something, in the bottom of your closet or in the cupboard under your bathroom sink or something like that. This is unironically safer than a safe. A safe is basically screaming that you have something valuable to keep safe.
>It actually feels like a collective system here.
I would like to preemptively welcome you to the club. Hope you go through with purchasing at least a 100 oz of silver or so anon. Good luck, and remember to never trust the jews.

>What's your thesis for Silver?
To attempt to concisely summarize; It is a hedge against globohomo, endless money printing, etc etc. It is a hedge that cannot be stolen from me, they can't make any more of, is still relatively affordable and has huge potential for growth. Even if they started right now, today, mines wont come on line for another 5-10 years, and we have been in an industrial deficient for about the last 5 years or so. Not to mention that industrial use basically destroys silver, so when its used its not coming back. Bullion banks, COMEX/LBMA, et. al have been consistently lying about their metal reserves for years, and have been playing games to try and save their ass. But they are running out of runway, there are hundreds of fake IOU 'paper' oz of silver for every real oz of silver. 370:1 or something like that the last time I checked.
>Believe in it so much
I have a massive distrust of the system. So much so that I basically just do the opposite of what they tell me is good and I'm right 90% of the time. I've spent a lot more time researching silver than other things, so I'm a lot more confident on it.
>Gold
not a bad investment at all, the upside on silver just has so much more potential. Historical ratios of gold to silver are typically somwhere in the neighborhood of 8:1 to 15:1. We've been around 80:1 for decades, with silvers recent rip only recently colsing that gap to about 65:1.

Unlike crypto, retail investors barely make the metals market move. It's too tied up in futures contracts. We're not invested in unloading our bags to you or having you pump the price up so we can exit. Most of us want to buy more. When you buy precious metals you are converting slave tokens into real money.

I wouldn't trust a company to hold my metal. I don't care that is uninsurable in my home. No thieves are going to find it unless they are tearing the place apart because they know I have it. Don't tell people you don't absolutely trust that you stack. If you're safe is bolted down and hidden that's probably good enough. If it isn't big enough just hide it in a box in your closet. I keep some at my parent's house, but they'd never steal from me and I like not having all my eggs in one basket.

>>61529157

Swapped an oz of au for 2 palladium back when gold breached 4k. Felt kinda dumb with the premium I paid at the time. But I figured it was a hedge on society collapsing.
If tptb kept things trucking then the plats would become unobtainium. Didn't expect it to play out this quick. I'm almost green on a 2.05/1 ratio trade on palladium back when palladium was nearly 3/1.
Silver is going to carry this bull but I got a solid hedge in last that they outperform in the end.
Demand didn't just skyrocket. I think your right. Big money is front running and securing stock. The tech revolution runs on plats. Silver maybe the most conductive and reflective but platinum's create miracles.
>>
>>61528880
I also own platinum and palladium poorfag. There is not a single stacker itt asking for advice on crypto or discussing it. Every discussion is a poorly veiled shill. We have been at this game a long time. You're digging in a dry mine here.
You MIGHT get lucky and find a few suckers over on /cmmg/. I heard a few guys made a killing on this silver mine called BayHorse and they are flush with cash. Maybe they want crypto but I am promise you not one single 1 or 0 leading to a crypto transaction will ever begin with a post in /pmg/.
