EO 6102 only placed a 5oz limit on gold ownership per person (not even per household, so you could “give” it to a family member). It didn’t apply to art or jewelry, only around 10% of the gold coins minted were actually turned in. This only happened because we were on the gold standard.

There’s no legally justifiable reason to try anything like this again because our money isn’t based on metal anymore. That’s what the money printer is for.

I haven’t sold anything and I never worry. Pretty much every year since I got into silver has been positive and I’m sure the next several years will also be positive. I don’t have to do anything or even really think about it.

The most difficult part of all of this has honestly just been the blank stares or immediate dismissal I get when I explain it to friends and family since no one has an attention span long enough to want to understand economics. I’m rich, but I don’t talk about it with anyone because it makes people angry, because a literal retard could do the same thing and also be successful but everyone would rather blow money on imaginary internet money or commodified debt.

Everyone always reacts like I’m crazy for collecting rocks when everyone else is literally throwing their money away at intangible concepts they don’t understand for products they don’t/can’t use, and most of the, are still poor. Everyone seems crazy to me.

This price action looks like shorts are not getting renewed. The large holders are looking at the dollar and are closing their short positions. In the first phase, gold and silver may reach its "true" value in a long time.

What happens after that is interest rates will adjust to keep gold and silver under control (which is how things used to be before QE). After all, long dated US treasuries are supposed to be the "anti-gold", and increasing interest rates in the long end of the curve will readjust the dollar to it's true value (we can see yields as high as 8% to 10%).

I’m one of /pmg/s monetary /his/torians. Much of my musing derived from old books that no one gives a shit about have been capped and circulated in these threads. My base case for our present circumstances is total financial disintegration. Not collapse but disintegration. I have about 25% of my net worth in silver/gold mining stocks and I intend to offload this paper during the run up, and cycle the fiat profits into real things. Make no mistake, we are now at the very beginning stage of a total monetary reordering. No derivatives from the old world will survive this, as we pass through the event horizon.

>increasing interest rates in the long end of the curve will readjust the dollar to it's true value (we can see yields as high as 8% to 10%).

Increasing or decreasing the price of borrowing money doesn’t increase its value. It’s inflated. The only things you can do anre increase the debt or reduce the debt (by paying it off) and we’re never going to reduce it. I’m not even being a doomer. There was never a plan to pay down the debt and there never will be. It’s politically untenable.

Basel III functionally makes it more expensive for banks to hold paper silver. So they’re swapping over to as much physical as they can because otherwise they’re just hemorrhaging money and accelerating inflation.

>>61534911
You're probably confusing "generic shorts" and puts. You short something by borrowing it now and immediately selling it, then repaying the loan (in terms of what your borrowed, in this case silver) by whatever agreed upon date. If the asset goes down in price, you make money, because you repay for less then you borrowed. If the asset goes up, you lose money, because you have to buy it back for more than you borrowed it for.

If you short by buying a put, you're buying a contract to sell an asset at a price (strike price) before the expiration date. If the price falls, the put is worth more (because you can exercise it to sell the asset for MORE than it's currently worth, basically (buying at the market price and selling at the higher strike price). If the asset goes up in value (more than the strike price) the put becomes worthless.

Puts like that limit your risk because the most you can lose is what you paid for the put option.
When you short by borrowing, you have unlimited risk.
>>
Gold is now seen by the BIS (and most other central banks) as an extremely low risk foreign currency, which serves as a great financial alternative to us/foreign treasuries since it has no counterparty risk (excluding logistics/vaulting).

I feel like the deals Russia has been striking to sell oil in currencies besides the USD is also damaging the petrodollar, thereby undermining the USD as reserve currency. BRICS countries especially have been wanting a way out from under the dollar, but none of their currencies are strong enough and commodity exports are too lopsided (both in kind a trade balance) so they're falling back on PMs. I think this is also why we're invading Venezuela - gotta strengthen the petrodollar.

That’s why they did the genius act and that’s also why the government is pro crypto now because no one wants to buy us treasuries. They’re essentially just packing up us treasuries into stablecoins and using the crypto market to export these now homeless us dollars to third worlders outside of the traditional “Eurodollar” banking system. Its an extremely convoluted plan to try and avoid hyperinflation but it’s almost certainly not going to work.

Here you go anon.

There was actually a comment Putin made it Tucker Carlson about how it was a mistake to kick Russia out of SWIFT, because this essentially lessened the US's influence over Russia. Nobody noticed it because they were too busy laughing at Carlson for having to sit through Putin's history monologue and then making basedjak faces about bread. We've basically forced them to find ways away to get away from the dollar because they can't use the dollar anymore. Now we're scraping the bottom of the crypto barrel to find ways to get people to use the USD.

What did you think of what I asked about Werner?
>>

>Most of Europe will unironically end up like Detroit post-2008.
>Europe will be so poor that nobody will want to immigrate there
>Many of the invaders already there will pack their bags as soon as the welfare taps are turned off
Financial collapse is exactly what Europe (and the rest of the West) needs.
>>
I really hope my brother doesn't bully me again about Christmas presents I got everyone. He hates how much I overspread and put play him for some fucking reason. Silver made me rich so I kind of went all out on presents this year.

>Financial collapse is exactly what Europe (and the rest of the West) needs.
The West, specifically America, needs a nuke on every major city. The nation would become 80% White again in an instant of hellfire. DO IT CHINA OR NO BALLS.

Xi, I will never call you Winnie the poo again if you do me this one favor; pretty please :)

>then they'll simply fail as well.

They will. NATO/EU is unironically over and Europe will fade out of economic/geopolitical relevance (it’s happening now), and probably wind up as a cheap vacation spot for Indians/chinese. I think a lot of European governments will permanently collapse. City of London will take a huge hit too.

The rest of the world will see a new era of economic prosperity if they don’t start any stupid wars with each other.
>>
The want to make it $69 again for Christmas lols

GDXJ and SILJ. I consider stonks to be basically a lottery ticket so I’d go for juniors for highest possible upside. Good though that you consider physical your backbone.
Don’t neglect the other staples, money will not be enough to get through this. Money is for afterwards.
>>
>>61534983
I hope it hits $50 again, I want more silver
>>
The smart European countries will leave the euro as fast as they can if they want to exist in 10 years. I think that’s why you see a lot of banks scrambling for gold because the countries without it won’t really have any kind of natural resources or industry to generate any meaningful income and they’ll need large quantities of something to base the value of whatever their new currency is.

Thats why you saw everyone trying to pilot CBDCs and shit. They’re all just trying to buy more time before they get rugpulled.

It's more likely to go to $79 instead of $69

Did you miss the train?

Silver needs to go to $800/ozt before it can reach M2-money supply inflation adjusted all time high
>>
>>61534981
>and probably wind up as a cheap vacation spot for Indians/chinese

Chinese probably. Indians? Lmao they are doomed to be living in trash making .0000001oz per week until the end of time. Their people simply lack the IQ and cultural background to do another China level comeback.
>>

>Thats why you saw everyone trying to pilot CBDCs and shit. They’re all just trying to buy more time before they get rugpulled.
That and CBDCs are the totalitarian you-vill-own-nothing-and-be-happy wet dream and I doubt you could get them to stop for it even if you had a gun to their head. Wasn't Lagarde bitching in a speech about how "CBDCs won't be implemented until after I'm dead" or something like that?

I honestly have no idea why some people hate CBDCs so much.
Instead of having to use banks and financial intermediaries you can transact money person to person. No need to use Paypal or a wire.

>But then the government will know all about me!
We already record everything, KYC your asshole, and the government can easily access these records (and regularly does for example for tax purposes)

>"But it is my right to go to a bank and pay Mr. Finkelstein so he can transfer my money"
>"I want to use cash!"
>"Luv me visa. I want to pay with me visa!!!"
You can still do that when CBDC is a thing.

Most of Europe’s economy revolves around financial services, and the US, Russia, and China released a new new server patch this year that functionally disables it.
>>
It’s extremely difficult to go from basically no industry to industry and it’s way way harder when most of Europe doesn’t actually have any natural resources.

Basically every other country at least has oil or metal or agriculture that they can generate income off of. None of that exists in most of Europe.
>>
So they’re going to be poor unless a billion Europeans join onlyfans or become streamers or whatever other kinda fake jobs exist.

Europe does have one natural resource in relative abundance: Uranium. 80% of the Uranium the Soviets used in their nukes was mined in East Germany and Czechoslovakia.
Of course, until they get leadership that's less cucked on building nuclear reactors, the Uranium deposits may as well not exist.

CBDC allows you to ditch banks for normal purchases, also creating some actual competition and incentives to improve their services to retain you as a retail client.

Werner is based AF, but I think the anon you're replying to is referencing Basel III and July because that's when physical gold started getting treated as Tier I assets at banks. On par with cash and treasuries. Who wants to hold paper when they can hold metal?
>>

Cash and treasuries are liabilities. They’re weighted riskier than gold. Also IIRC They also eliminated the tier list.

Silver historically is a bit higher risk, higher reward. Institutions opt for gold because of storage capacity in the event delivery becomes necessary. For every 75-100oz of silver you buy, get an oz of gold. I prefer silver.. growing IoT industrial demand. Larger total populations in 2025 and silver is more accessible. China is a bigger player and has historical preference for silver. Gold silver ratio still whacky. Etc.

Tyranny needs no justification Anon. And the gold and silver stolen from the American people wasn’t used to escape the depression, it was used by jewish bankers to lay the foundation for WW2 and the creation of Israel.

You don’t understand their mentality. They believe this entire world is theirs and everything belongs to them. But it’s been stolen by uppity cattle animals. Gold and Silver they prize above all. It is a powerful ideological drive they have to take all of it from us. Just to have it. And of course to further their evil schemes.

They can and absolutely will try to do something similar, or otherwise carry out heavy handed acts of authoritarian tyranny.

And don’t forget, while public handovers of gold and silver were relatively rare, anyone who had anything in a bank held safety deposit box lost Everything. And that was probably a lot of people.

it just means used/preowned. nothing wrong with them
you can get some interesting vintage bars in the secondary market category. or you might get something boring. or something goofy meme

SGE is the Shanghai Gold Exchange. They are a pure physical, over the counter market. If you want to sell silver on the SGE, you must first deposit a tested and approved bar into their vault.

If you take delivery, it typically happens within 24 hours after the trade.

SHFE is the futures exchange, I don't know how that works. The SHFE shows daily vault deltas, (either increase or decrease) and the SGE shows weekly vault deltas.

The prices on the far right side of the chart are the closing prices in $USD, so the SGE silver price this morning is $78.49. The SHFE futures price is $78.02, which indicates backwardation.

The SGE price is usually where the COMEX/LBMA price ends up a week or two later.

When exactly in march 2026 the COMEX+China +Silver want have thing has to happen exactly? Because the "Das jüdische Purimfest wird am 03. März 2026 gefeiert. Im jüdischen Kalender entspricht das dem 14. Tag im jüdischen Monat Adar." thing hapens this year in early march, so we can observe how near those two events could be in some relation. Not? I also await hw inflation in tEURo zone/EU and especially in DE might turn out. Marcel Fratscher said "Not signifciant", and he is a big expert here, according to mass media and Wikipedia.

Very interesting indeed. And the level of the infiltrators has gone up a notch. Instead of the inane shitposting, they now try to masquerade as "one of us" and then slip in the poison.

As a former crypto loser (i sold all shitcoins in 2021 and bought 2 btc at $16.5k which i have in cold storage) the swings in silver are far less volatile than shitcoins. Im unfazed by red candles

>You understand you're predicting this fall to be more disastrous for Europe than the fall of Rome right?
It will likely be much better than the collapse of the western Roman Empire. It took so long to really collapse that a person living in one generation didn't see much change in their lifetime. The collapse of Europe will be a much more dramatic, brutal and bloody event.

Here are your two choices:
1. You kill the traitors and expel the invaders.
2. The traitors will work with the invaders to genocide the native Europeans.

The alien invaders are not compatible with European society and Europeans. They cannot coexist. One or the other will dominate. Any "mixture" means Europe is no longer Europe, and is equivalent to a loss.

You know who the traitors are. They trade a million young british girl rapes for a nice curry.

Juxtaposing the thought crimes against the real crimes shows you everything you need to know. They don't want European people's to walk away from Uncle Shmuel and go and join Russia for a nice comfy trading partner.
Cuck Island, Britain, is the worst of all. They think they are more important than the Mainland. All of history appears to revolve around one country: Germany. That is the central hub for a European Imperium to shield Western Europe off from invading hordes. Everyone knows this and wants to destroy Germany so the lesser European nations are forced to side with USA as an "ally". Europe and Russia are natural allies and Russia can provide most of their energy needs.
One, kings. Our people will be free...

They're about to go trade the GSR and turn it into a stack so large in ruins the foundation of the house. It doesn't feel right to have zero gold, but the trader in me knew with 100% certainty I should sell my gold for silver and have it earmarked to buy back into gold when the GSR collapsed. All it takes is a little conviction.
