Peace out, I will never "invest" again.

Anon, I already have a job. Also, just what do you mean by doesn't pan out? Pan out how? Silver will never be worthless, so I'll never lose the value of the 421 pure ounces I have, alongside my $200 face value of junk silver. The numbers surrounding silver may rise and fall, but silver's value remains eternal.

just scored a golden cheapie at canada post

1/10 2025 gold polar bears privy mark maple for 729.95CAD (they're going for 770 - 800 where i'm at)

i asked if they had anything they were sending back hoping for silver, they had one 2025 1/10 maple.

Canada post is sending back old stock to the royal canadian mint, and repricing the new stock to the current prices of the silver/gold market after January 23rd this week, and reordering the 2026 repriced silver and gold.

stop by and ask your local postal clerk, you might find some cheapeis if your in canada frens
>>
>>61685415
I posted about Canada post a few days ago. I grabbed a bunch of these for 6% over spot at the time. They don't update the price often. Same deal came up near the end of 2025 when most of their stuff was priced at 115 and spot was well under a hundred for most of the year until the last month or so. It is a good idea to speak to the worker at the office because I've found in the past even if it's not displayed they sometimes have stock in the back.
>>

Try a different location if you can. The last time this happened with their 2025s I spent an entire day driving to a dozen different offices. Only a quarter or so had any, and it was only a few each time. Was worth it in the end. I might do the same thing tomorrow if it's true they will be sent back or pulled until they are repriced.

My mom gave me money to buy silver for her so I went to the LCS yesterday. The old man went back to grab 4 sealed OPM bars after I mentioned it was for mom, instead of grabbing the bars from the counter. He specified how they were OPM and I didnt think much of it, but after looking it up, I guess they have a scandalous history? Are they actually as valuable as they seem? And if so why is he selling them at $3 bucks over spot?
>>

someone said they raised margins again, but i dont know if thats true
>>
>>61685517
privy marks on maples is just kinda neat. They are limited mintage. So i guess silver/gold maples are kinda like the pokemon cards of gold/silver coins. Getting them at spot or near spot is a good deal on them, the premiums are normally insane.

The new repricing on silver maples is going to be at 200CAD when silver is at 130CAD, most shops selling at 140CAD with mark up.

privy mark 1/10 maples are going from 739 to 849.
>>

$3 over seems pretty standard for a generic 10oz
>I guess they have a scandalous history?
I work at a bullion dealer, and we have a policy for not buying gold OPM bars, due to encountering more than a few counterfeits. We still buy and sell the 10oz silver bars by OPM, and have not any problems with them to my knowledge. I’ve heard customers bring up this “scandal” thing a couple times, but whenever I ask for more details they all respond that they aren’t sure, just that there was some sort of scandal.

Until something happens to break the stranglehold of the LBMA/COMEX on western silver pricing using their paper derivatives to manipulate the price downward, the retail supply chain will remain dysfunctional.

>The US Mint didn’t “run out of silver.” That’s not the point.

>The issue isn’t whether silver exists as raw material. The issue is where it flows, who gets priority, and what the price signal is telling producers to do.

>When paper prices stay suppressed while:
>- vault inventories are draining
>- Shanghai is pulling metal
>- retail premiums stay elevated
>- and mints ration bullion output
>the market is no longer functioning as a normal price-discovery mechanism.

>If spot price truly reflected physical scarcity, production of bullion coins would increase, not decrease. Instead, mints shift toward higher-margin products (proofs, collectibles), because bullion priced at artificial levels doesn’t make economic sense to produce aggressively.

>That tells us something important:

> The problem is not “lack of silver.”
> The problem is a broken benchmark.

Maybe, I'm not sure how readily available Silver is in NZ, if it's harder to find than in other countries than a stack that size should be sufficient, but if Silver's easily obtainable you might need more ounces.
Remember 1 oz = 11 .500 Shillings or 6 .925 Shillings.

That's why it's good to not care too much about the ticker. It's only a jew casino, gambling with paper silver, primarily designed for skinning the rubes.

The Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE) is an over the counter silver market where physical bars must be inspected and deposited in the SGE vault before they can be sold. It is a 100% physical market, no paper derivatives allowed, unlike the LBMA where they allowed paper "receipts" for silver from day one, with the intent that the paper sales would dwarf the physical sales.

It was by design, intended to discourage citizens from owning physical metals by creating unnecessary volatility which scares investors who want conservative but steady gains.

I expect the market to jump significantly, perhaps doubling the current spot price once the COMEX/LBMA default on deliveries, and lose their price fixing powers.

The RCM still uses "leased" metal to hedge the price between initial receipt and final sale. They describe how in the past the lease rate was so low it wasn't even a factor in the production cost, but back in October, 2025 and now again, rising lease rates now a serious issue.

It's a reflection that the wholesale silver market is broken. LBMA and COMEX are essentially "rationing" silver at the spot price. Ie, Samsung wanted to buy 50 million ounces for use in manufacturing over the next two quarters, and COMEX told them they could only have 5 million ounces.

If silver is being rationed, the mints will only produce the highest margin items with their limited allotment.

That's why monster boxes and bars are all on back order, but if you want presentation and proof sets, you can have as many as you want.

Silver is rarer here than the US but our pre-decimal was silver until 1947 and there's still a fair amount knocking about. Pure is certainly much rarer here compared to USA, we only get a little from Perth Mint since shipping premiums are too high and NZD is garbage compared to AUD, we have a small unofficial mint that seems to sell overseas more than local and our official silver coins from NZ Post are minted by BH Mayers Kunstprageanstalt and imported.
On Monday NZPost was selling 18 different silver coins, they're down to 12 and half of those say "Low Stock".

I think Shawn Khunkhun (a jeet born in Canada) is out of DV.

He was interviewed during the last Rick Rule bootcamp and he's being replaced. From his body language/facial expressions, it was not his choice to step aside.

I was always turned off by anyone doing paid promotions via silver podcasts and Khunkhun was one of them.

For anyone here who isn't already familiar the Wallstreetsilver twitter saga, two grifters, one, a brown Iranian from Canada, the other, a guy with a criminal record from Florida, were taking secret payoffs to pump miner penny stock pump an dumps. (Bayhorse?) DV was one of them, if I am not mistaken.

Picrel, one of his paid promotional appearances. To their L&Fs credit, they acknowledged that he was paying them to shill this video. L&F is primarily sponsored by Miles Franklin, a jewish owned metals (((merchant))) with a Goy friendly business name.

They're still not bad. I used to watch most of their videos (except the paid promotions) and I learned a lot, (this was years ago) but their need to churn out content daily, and their 30 minute format results in a circular conga line of guests, so once you've seen six Bill Holter interviews, there's not a lot left to be said, and that goes the same for many of their guests.

I have nothing against them, they seem like decent, good, moral Christians. Miles Franklin is very high premium dealer, but they occasionally had some killer deals like when they were basically selling classic US gold coins for a few bucks above melt, and 90% at spot.

I also liked the Reluctant Preppers, although I may have only watched a couple of their videos, I found the information very useful.

I still wonder why every male in their family seems to have Kaiser (Elijah K. Johnson, Dunagun Kaiser, etc) in their name.

Even the cardboard box has a premium satiny finish. Germania puts a lot of effort into making a very nice looking product. We have a few of their 10oz bars. When we went to the LCS, we always went for the lowest price generic bars they had, and a few times they gave us Germania bars.

Are they foreign credit cards or Japan-issued credit cards?

If they're foreign, it may be an anti-fraud measure. If they're Japan-based cards then you may need to talk to your issuing bank to see if they need to allow use on foreign websites.

Is PayPal allowed in Japan? If so, you may be able to set up an account, ask someone else local who is on PayPal to send you some (and pay them cash in return), and then do the purchase.

Eventually the market will self correct, but silver wil be at a much higher price point than currently. Possibly 2x+ current spot price.

There are multiple curves that determine silver price:
-Demand destruction price point
-Production volume
-Inelastic demand volume

Where those three lines intersect is what the true market price for silver will end up at.

Keep in mind that it will take 10-15 years for any significant increase in silver production output as a result of higher prices. For the short term, higher prices will only increase silver availability via demand destruction, ie. Solar panel makers being priced out of cheap silver will swich to alternate technologies.

Demand destruction will also reduce the amount of silver that low budget stackers like myself can afford to buy.

The solution is simple. Buy some silver of the equivalent size (one piece) just before you sell your other silver (several pieces). Since there is a buy/sell spread, you will record a net loss, and it will reduce your taxable income.

You don't have all of your original receipts, but you have a representative receipt for some that you did purchase, so it should apply to the whole batch.

This is not tax advice.

The focus is on the deposit. If it trickles in there is no suspicion, even with a paper trail. Additionally how would they know unless you report? Could have been a gift. You could have found it. You have to much faith in a crumbling system but I respect you for being a straight shooter. If the thought of skirting the tax man scares you there is always someone who is willing to pay spot with cash. Don't be silly.

Hi, fren. In the last update at the bottom of the thread I had almost forgotten. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a reliable stable coin and chain to support memos. So, the work flow will be tacky but essentially instead of getting an address at check out and sending the USDC with your order number in a memo, we'll have to exchange emails, you send with your order number, I give you a wallet address with your order number, and after you send USDC, you will send an email again with your order number, and the transaction ID so I can verify it, then you will be marked as paid. It will be USDC over SOLANA network.
Wirefrens, all of you will have a place to put a memo. What you put there is PARAMOUNT. Please follow the directions to a T on the website or you risk of not having your payment cleared. Memo will have your order number and other information that will be available once the site goes live.

>What are the consequences of a 100 oz silver bar beyond liquidity?
You are getting more ounces per dollar, so when silver goes up several multiples, you are much farther ahead in wealth than had you bought fewer high premium pieces.

Liquidity isn't an issue if you're selling to a larger dealer. Yes, you get slightly less per ounce than for smaller pieces, but that is more than offset by the greater total number of ounces you bought with the same money originally.

The common sense advice is don't make your first purchases very large bars. Buy small stuff at first so you have good liquidity, and once you have a couple of hundred ounces of generic rounds or Maples, or Eagles, etc, then go for the bigger pieces.

We actually did it the opposite way. We bought the absolute lowest cost per ounce bars at first, and then when premiums were especially low on generic rounds and Maples, we slurped them up by the tube.

Once you have a couple thousand ounces, you'll be glad at least some if it is in big bars.

picrel, not my stack.

I'm at 1030 right now and counting all the coins and doing all the junk math was a day long endeavor. I'm at the point where big bars or even large coins with premiums currently nullified seems the easiest way forward.

10 oz bars may be the middle ground as they alone are already $1000.

If I didn't need the cash for some immediate purchase, I wouldn't be selling the silver in the first place.

My two exit strategies for silver involve buying gold and buying land. The last thing I would ever want to buy with silver is fiat.

Multiply the total numer of short futures contracts by 5000 to get the total number of ounces short:
15,099 = 75,495,000 oz short
50,766 = 253,830,000 oz short
65,865 = 329,325,000 oz short

Total (reportable) outstanding shorts as per:
https://ycharts.com/indicators/comex_silver_combined_total_reportable_short_positions

218,048 contracts = 1,090,240,000 oz short

I do not know how to find out how many UNreportable short ounces are there, but a rule of thumb might be to subtract all the ounces of physical stored in COMEX eligible vaults and subtract the total number of paper ounces outstanding and the difference would be the total shorts that need to be covered or cashed out.

I suspect there are billions of total shorts outstanding that keep getting rolled over. Some of them might be using leased ETF silver, rehypothecated multiple times.
