Germany, a 60-day wait for delivery if you buy a silverbar of 500g or more.

The price is bound to skyrocket.
>>
You guys remember yesterday when I said that regardless of what the price is doing, when the dealers start sending you "pls sell us you silver we'll pay u spot" texts and emails that it indicates it's a good time to buy? Silver spot had sharply fallen into the $91-$92 range when I posted that I had started receiving such messages. Today we're tickling $96. I told you paying attention to dealer communications is a good barometer. EVERY time they send out those sorts of messages silver takes off again a day later. Don't get shaky - it'll cost you.

Brother man, I have just enough to pay the bills, gas up my shitbox, and put food on the table. However, I've been really fancying up to the idea of liquidating a >small< amount of my stack to get a brand new beefy PC. I really don't need this however, but it sure is tempting. Also, I wouldn't go to a LCS-jew, I'd rather sell my metals to one of the online dealers, they unironically have much better deals.

I have a pitch to sell you:
Everyone moans about devices for verifying rounds is expensive and bulky.

However, it doesn't have to be.
Just use a reference coin (not included), a wheatstone bridge, some chickenshit components and a multimeter and probe the resistance of the target.

Surely this has been done already.
But I can't find shit literature or product wise.

There would be some electrical way to test bullion that has standard measurements or mass minted, silver coins. Cool idea but I’m not smart enough to add anything for you. Good luck . The PC gaming market is kinda fucked right now, but it's probably not going to get any better for the next two years MINIMUM so if you're in the market for an upgrade you should do it now.
Good news is that 40 and 50 series Nvidia gpus are going to last a long time because of DLSS. So if you can snap up a 4080 or a 5070ti you're set for many years. I always recommend buying used if your local market is reliable/trustworthy

They aren't trying to maintain a $10 difference. They cannot stop China from pulling the price up when it gets over $10 per oz.

You can get approximately 300,000 ounces on one 20 foot shipping container. (ie, 10 pallets of 30 LBMA bars each)

It costs around $150k to ship that container, including insurance from USA to China, and at $10/oz that represents nearly a $3 million net profit per container.

COMEX/LBMA doesn't stand a chance now that the Chinese people have begun stacking silver like madmen.

Shit like that is why i have serious FOMO and Americans have no idea how retarded their refiner situation is because American refiners are turning down silver because they’re overloaded with silver and Chinese can easily buy up that massive hoard of silver that is getting turned down by refiners.

Imagine if Chinese merchants started contact coin shops and offering prepaid Alipay debit cards at spot for all unrefined silver that is getting turned down by refiners. They could grab the entire American hoard of scrap and constitutional silver in a year.

>American refiners are turning down silver because they’re overloaded with silver and Chinese can easily buy up that massive hoard of silver that is getting turned down by refiners.
The refiners are experiencing the same problem that the retailers and manufacturers are having.

The COMEX/LBMA have broken the hedging market. Refiners also need to hedge the price for the 2-3 weeks that it takes to turn sterling/junk into 999.

We are watching a slow motion trainwreck which is the full scale default of the two main silver trading floors on earth. The bullion banks started shorting because it was a politically favored way of making a nice regular income by fleecing the small investors. It worked for decades.

Decades of price suppression had the effect of reducing silver mine production, but the consequences had been masked, first by several billion ounces of strategic stockpiles, then later by the decline of silver based photography.

Those stockpiles are largely gone, and much of what remains in the vaults has likey been rehypothecated multiple times, so techniclally, each ounce of silver has multiple owners.

Now we are at the final stages of the musical chairs where there are dozens of people circling one chair, and we are all just waiting for the music to stop.

That's the day that the COMEX declares force majeure and force cash settles people who actually wanted silver.

Don't be surprised if when the COMEX capitulates, the price of silver goes up $100 or more in one week as the market descends into chaos when sleepy indusrial buyers wake up and realize that they won't be getting their silver and they race to the private markets, getting into bidding wars, trying to get their hands on anything they can find.

That's when you'll likely see the GSR ratio drop to 20:1 or lower. It will be a feeding frenzy, with plenty of boomer FOMO as well.

The FED ponzi is also unconstitutional and unelected - yet they still print fiat currency debt, which is also unconstitutional, and we have to use it. Just because something good has been nigger'd doesn't mean the shitstem we were forced on is right, or good, or moral, or even effective. Gold and Silver have been money for over 5,000 years. Depends on the website. So if it's a big place, they usually already have the gun store's files and agreement to transfer the gun for you all set up so you don't have to call. But call the pickup place anyway as a courtesy.

Other times, you have to call the gun store/FFL, and have them send their license to the online seller and agree to accept the shipment.

>Do they usually charge you?
Yes. Some places are flat fee $20-50 per box, but I've seen way crazier prices to accept a shipment. Some places are percent of the price of the gun. In most cases, I paid $20 to $40 for the FFL transfer.

Probably not if your name is Scott Adams. If you expect to live to see 2030, then yes.

Gold and silver will go towards infinity in fiat terms. Fiat will go to zero relative to gold and silver. This is a mathematical certainty for the USD.

Unlikely unless someone has worked out some crack new tech with it which might be why it’s mooning. Catalytic converter demand has peaked and now the world is moving to EVs which use no platinum. The other shill point for platinum holders is hydrogen fuel cells which are a dead on arrival decade old technology.

>>61688562

>>
>>61690403
In a nutshell, gold is primarily a monetary metal, silver is monetary and industrial, platinum is primarily industrial. So each has a different prospectus. The problem with being ALL industrial like platinum is that a global economic collapse will crater demand. Historically, in hard times, people flee into gold and silver but not platinum. So platinum is a bet on the coming economic storm not being so bad. Or is a bet that you can get in and out before the economy tanks.

I would suggest everyone stack silver first. Then, if budget allows, add gold to the stack. Then if you still want more diversity, add platinum. But be ready to bail out of platinum when the economy really goes south.

Both Czechoslovakia and the USSR had patent systems. The reason there are clones is that those patents expired decades ago.

No different from Glock. The Glock 17 was named the "Glock 17" because it was Gaston Glock's 17th patent. Which was granted in the 1980s, so ever since at least Y2K it's been perfectly legal to clone the shit out of older generation Glocks, which is exactly what happened.

>>
>>61690437
I don't want to seem harsh, I took that shit too, but I just want to reassure you that silver is NEVER going to go back to <$35 ever again. The fundamentals today are completely different from anytime in more than 150 years.

You are living in one of the most interesting (not in a good way) time periods in human history. You are seeing first hand, up close, the real time death of a pure fiat world reserve currency.

The closest analog to this would be the fall of the western Roman empire, but that happened in very slow motion over several hundred years.

You will see in your lifetime geopolitical and economic crashes, the scale of which that no human has ever seen. This is partly why they are sending IQjeets to shill against silver, and why the mainstream media has been under radio silence, except when they denigrate the metals.

If fiat is controlled by blood sucking vampires, silver is the wooden stake. If the average American is being eaten by economic werewolves, silver is the silver bullet.

We are still in early days, silver has at least 6 more multiples and possibly 10+ to go in dollar terms.

In terms of silver purchasing vs real property, it has possibly 20x+ to go. This is because:
1. Boomers hold all the (paper) wealth.
2. Boomers are dying and the younger generations can't afford to buy boomer properties.
3. Most boomer wealth will get drained from them via the corrupt (((medical industrial complex)))

Dollars will get printed to infinity while concurrently in real terms, prices for real estate will drop. Blackrock can buy every fucking boomer mcmansion in America, but they can only rent it out for what young people can afford to pay, and that is not very much.

If Americans get mad enough, most browns will get remigrated back to where they came from and that will be an additional driver that reduces the value of real property, and the costs of living in general.

Toyota has been making their Hydrogen meme car for a decade now and it has gone exactly nowhere. No one is paying for hydrogen infrastructure when the electrical grid already exists. Not to mention hydrogen is a handling nightmare and slowly destroys metals it is in contact with.

>am i too late to buy more silver btw?
No.

>should i wait until it goes back to 85 ish?
No.

I'm old enough to remember this board back in October, reading the whining posts made by newbies lamenting they bought at the "peak" of $54 dollars and crying when it was slammed down to $48.

Would you be happy to buy silver at $54 per ounce today? When silver goes to $150 will you look back and feel good that you bought at $95?
>>
>>61690536
you've gotten solid answers from here so far. beyond platinum jewelry there is no major tech or industry that would require this scarce metal. silver and gold organically hold positions as historical money. that should be enough to persuade.

>>61690496
doesnt gold also lose value when there is a crash?

Borrowed money is borrowed time in my opinion, some can pull impressive trades but I'm green in both my portfolio and experience.

Agree with all you’re saying. I’d buy more metals but we wanna buy a house soon so I don’t wanna burn all our cash. But seems like it could happen a lot quicker than I expect, and maybe I should take another 20k and put it into silver rn. All this fiat in a HYSA makes me uncomfy even though we gotta have it for a down payment. Part of me just wants to wait for housing to break (people losing their jobs and being fucked cause they bought too much house).. maybe by summer or fall

Depends on the nature of the crash. An inflationary recession sends gold up. And I think we are heading into a MASSIVE inflationary recession. And that isn't even considering the possibility of the USD collapsing completely.

>there is no major tech or industry that would require this scarce metal
That is not true at all. Every magnetic hard disk uses platinum. It has industrial uses for which there are no effective alternatives, such as fiberglass manufacturing. Platinum is probably 95% industrial, but it's also extremely rare relative to gold, and costly to extract and purify.
https://youtu.be/_oK9OA0U8tE

We talk about most silver being mostly produced as byproduct metal, and that is even more true for platinum.

Many/most of the industrial users of platinum, are price insensitive. Like with rhodium, price doesn't really matter since it's essential to production and is only a tiny percentage of their input costs.

Platinum has historically been more expensive than gold and may once again be.

That being said, we personally stack mostly silver because it has more multiples to go up than either gold or platinum in our opinion. Silver, unlike platinum, is actually money, and recognizable as such by the average person.

If I were to wear jewelry, (which I don't) it would likely be platinum because it's lower profile than gold, and much harder wearing than silver, and holds it's tarnish free beauty for decades like gold.

Model 10 can handle +P and with a good bullet design can do the job. Obviously it's a dated platform, but an excellent choice for a training workhorse for practice using cheap ammo and teaching newbies the fundamentals.

If you can draw and rapid fire double action into the center a silhouette target at 7 yards in 3 seconds, you are a death machine. You will be an absolute terminator.

The only way to acquire that level of skill is with a hideous amount of practice, and burning throught thousands of light .38 spl loads is the best way to achieve that mastery.
https://youtu.be/qNFW8eSzb44

If a 60 year old man can do 12 shots in 3 seconds on target, you should be able to do half that.

Labor costs. Revolvers require a lot of machining, then the assembly is more complex even w current standards. It's cheaper to cnc a blocky slide and match it to a plastic frame than to make an all metal revolver with all steel & several complicated machining steps. Volume is another, everyone from militaries to police to normies are most likely to buy a polymer 9 as they are at a signiciant firepower disadvantage.
That said revolvers are cool, and the clinton lock is gay, i have a couple older smiths because they look nice and the clockwork sound when you activate the action is kino

Anons got memory holed on this but they ran cover for the perth mint a few years ago when they got caught running a unallocated metals scheme with their vaulting service and kitco used their news service to help protect them and from what i heard kitco themselves were doing the exact same thing with their vaulting service but because it was the perth mint they took all the attention and heat away from kitco.

For me kitco are a globalist organisation run by seriously shady charactors.

I want a platinum Rolex but they’re overpriced compared to gold since so many gold watches can be bought around spot. I saw a video on YouTube a few days ago of a jeweller preparing to melt an early 2000s yachtmaster since nobody wants to pay over gold.

What also sucks with platinum is refining is way more expensive so you get less back as a percent when you sell if it’s not 999. I see platinum chains at pawnshops sometimes around melt but the sell back is like 60 percent of spot
