I'm holding MU as well. Buying more on Monday 100%.
The entire market overcorrected, started with MSFT taking a way overblown nosedive.
MU will be going steadily up until earnings at which point all bets are off. Hopefully PMs don't screw the entire market again, but I think this was mostly leverage being wiped out.

This day has not changed the bull thesis. You could've said the same thing last month. This was a market problem, not a Micron problem
>>
There was nothing to buy the past few months because everything had peaked. I didn't like the stock market especially because it was priced in dollars and the dollar was dumping.
That's the only reason I bought gold and silver. It was the only overvalued thing that made sense.

What do you smiggers do when the market is closed at the weekend?

I spent so much time behind screens staring at charts in search of a better life that staring at lines on screens has become my life and I know nothing else. I wish I had the balls to stick to a plan. Like I always tell myself "if you can get a second job that pays 25/hr part time, do that as much as you can outside your regular job, because when cash flows it flows but when it dries up it dries up". Literally not a single good thing in my life, and then when I find a 10x stock like Nvidia I look at my microscopic set of nads and pussy out and watch while having bouts of seething and thinking about how I got into investing in stocks 5 years ago and I went from young and happy to realizing I'm going to hit my 40s with nothing to show for it. There is a shit ton of open land and an enormous amount of stranded gas in west texas. Waha gas hub sometimes has negative gas price because they have so much gas and not enough pipeline capacity to send it somewhere else. Perfect for data centers. There are two big land owners Texas Pacific Land (TPL), already fucking mooned, and LandBridge (LB). LB also spun off its water processing and disposal business WaterBridge. Lots of wells in west texas producing oil from fracing operations and lots of shitty water too. WaterBridge gets paid to treat, transport and dispose of the water, and after treatment can be used for data center cooling. Recently LB entered into an agreement with NRG for power. LB has been negotiating with data center developers to lease land for utility coorridors and for data centers. Should be some opportunities in the near future for good price appreciation for LandBridge, WaterBridge, Energy Transfer (ET), NRG, some of the oil/gas producers there, utilities (power generation). Keep an eye out for more news and specific business identified. I have been holding LB for about two years. I thought they would score some data centers sooner, but I am hoping for some big news in 2026.

>>
>>61754566
Hi anons, Charles Schwab MU-shill here. I've been trying to help you guys make money since last November, and I will persist as long as I feel it will do any good. Look at the low forward PE and the absurdly low PEG. Look at the EPS forecast. The crazy train has no brakes, and there is still time to get on board. Buy a little. Wait for it to go up, so that you feel safe. Then buy a little more. So long as the PEG remains below .5, it remains a screaming deal.

I know you have that AHHH I DON'T WANT TO BUY AT THE TOP feeling. That's okay, anon. Don't get greedy and don't get scared. Just hang on tight and wait for the tsunami of cash to keep pushing them upwards. Oh, and remember -- you cannot baghold semiconductor stocks. It WILL go back down to $100 or so after the data center craze is over and wander around aimlessly for the next 10-15 years.

>>61754573
I don't think there are any. Seagate, Western Digital, Sandisk, and Micron are the only good values I see, and I got impatient with WDC -- or rather, with the way investors greeted their epic-but-not-epic-enough earnings -- and unloaded them this morning.

You make a good point, Horizon Kinnetics is the biggest holder for LB and WaterBridge, but there are some big names that also hold stock. Not sure the big names would be so happy to get screwed over by Horizon Kinnetics. But there are a number of other business apart from LB and WB that can benefit from power and data centers on TPL or LB land with water from WB.

Your advice lead to me making a 5% profit off my investment when stop losses triggered. Could have been as much as 15% if I took profits, but I didn't, so it's five percent. Thanks for the advice and it remains to be seen whether I buy back in.

MU has been steadily growing their marketshare. Sandisk is 'basically nobody' on the DRAM market but saw massive gains. Micron earnings in mid-market, only 6 weeks away. Easy 50% gain from here to April.
>>
>>61754741
>to get a decent buy price
stocks are priced by market forced. they are all decent...
>>
>>61754951
Sandisk does not make DRAM. They make chips for non-volatile data storage. The companies on that chart make DRAM primarily but also the storage chips Sandisk makes. Jensen Huang kicked off the Sandisk run when he emphasized the need for flash-based data storage, which is all Sandisk makes
>>
>>61754573
I would position around the storage companies being a cluster fuck with collateral damage.
It’s a cluster fuck because all that ram was bought on credit from AI companies, already risky, and the earning apparently weren’t spectacular enough to pump the market anyways.
But the collateral damage I’m talking about is everything else in the ecosystem getting starved along side the consumer.
Cpu sales, monitor sales, laptop sales, all the other bits AI doesn’t need.
They aren’t going to be bought as much if the consumer base shrinks due to RAM becoming unobtainium.

1) Microsoft is a terrible bet right now.
2) the big companies, “mag 7” types, while solid, are “priced in,” I.e, there is very limited opportunity for growth. You will get a safer bet and better growth from ETFs than from that type of company.
3) “picks and shovels” strategy: it’s better to invest in the companies supplying the Big Tech companies than the big tech companies, you are getting much wider exposure this way.
4) these “picks and shovels” companies have much higher upside and room for growth

Like I said they are a solid company obviously but you have to compare them to the field. You want to put your money where it will give you highest rate of return as well as safety. Microsoft has been down trending for a long time. If you had to invest in mag 7 stocks I would recommend either Google, Nvidia, or Meta. Lot of people shit on meta but they are a legit money printer, they don’t need any of this AI shit; they just have to spam advertisements to their 3.5 billion users. Google? That’s the Coca Cola of the 21st century. YouTube is the most watched video platform by far and that is a market share that will only increase; their only “competitor” in this arena is Netflix but they are legacy media 2.0 and won’t make it long term. Anyway they have the search engine and ad-spam to billions of people, they don’t need the AI shit either and yet they are actually cutting edge in this category. Nvidia? They pretty much have a monopoly on the GPU market, they have their fingers in a lot of pies and if you are interested in robotics and AI and such they will always be at the forefront of those endeavours, similar Coca Cola potential. There’s risk that google can come under a regulatory barrage, and there’s risk that nvidia can be undercut by chink-shit. I don’t see any risk for Facebook, they have a monopoly on social media more-or-less, other than tik-Tok, but YouTube shorts is moving in on that territory, and everyone is a zombie glued to their phones. Yeah Microsoft still has windows but that really doesn’t make as much money as you think and the home PC market will one day not exist at all. I could be wrong but I personally see Microft becoming what IBM became (although IBM still does well because of pentagon shit) I don’t believe in apple, they have the phone but so does Samsung and there’s tons of other phone brands. If you want put 1k in each of them an compare, but an ETF would just do better I’m sure
>>

i dunno if anyone still cares about ai dashcams, i know some anon here always randomly posts for updates but i usually miss it before a new thread gets baked

anyways im using some of the profits i took to go to Japan next week for the first time
GSI.V earnings was absolutely lumpy, aka slow and shit, i think in a way most people already expected that and the price went way ahead of itself to a price i prob didn't expect to see until 2027, but anyways despite how shit the earnings were for Q1 (lumpy nature of business), it was green today of all days because it's the first time the company did an earnings call ever, the company that started as a literal nanocap from basically scratch (sub <$10m market cap) now grown to well over $150m market cap with 20-30% institutional ownership after their two capital raises at $1.20 and $2.10 in 2025 in the same year it had a low of 30 cents (canadian dollars)

it's gonna be slow for ai dashcams for now, maybe until summer so just gonna enjoy my profits for now (prob gonna buy a new couch and TV after i get back from Japan), frankly im more worried about the index ETFs im holding that i bought with the rest of my ai dashcams profits

No lmao
Remember COVID?
It would need to be worse than COVID to make a dent, and Im not sure what that could be besides literal nuclear war.
>>
>>61756260
>eastern DRC
doesn't it take like half a year just to transport the stuff from the east to their only port? I doubt there is anything in DRC that could affect global supply, its too unreliable.
>>
>>61756447
on a happening scale, covid was like a 2. 9 would be nuclear war. 5 would be covid but if it were real. much worse things could happen. they probably won't because they never do, but if covid was the worst times we ever see that will make this a very lucky generation.

>COVID 2/10
Global travel was canceled, nearly all manufacturing jobs were shut down for months, massive layoffs. Are we just pretending the entire economy didn't just turn off for a while?

>stock market went up

i stand by it. 2/10 happening. if the straits of hormuz get shut down then you'll see a real happening. you'll see plenty of bad stuff in your lifetime, don't feel cheated because your favorite life-altering global crisis was such a phony dud.
>>
>>61756576
if the strait of hormuz get closed, iran will get glassed and it will open back up faster than the suarez canal after the evergiven. That's still barely a 2/10
>>
>>61756576

If 2025 was the year of NAND and DRAM I think 2026 is going to be the year HDD manufacturers really blow up.

Datacentres need already need them so you get exposure the AI infrastructure capex spend, but also as AI video generation improves and videos get longer, the demand for high capacity HDD's does too.

Seagate and WDC stand to be big beneficiaries. Seagate is already up to $414 - it was $212 back in October. WDC is actually a bargain right now at $240 - crazy how it tanked yesterday, right after it beat earnings.

Most of congress is also compromised by israel and a blue wave will not change that.
The system will never remove Trump from his position.
