second for holding $MU through the weekend
>>61761629POWW, AOUT, RGR, and OLN are showing bullish technical analysis signals through last week despite the market being choppy. These companies make guns/ammo. Take into account the fundamentals of metals and the recent Epstein files, this could be a good play this week.

>>61761701It's GONNA fucking double by half year, right?
>>61761659AOUT and especially POWW look like they've been basically dead a long time. OLN might be a play, but 2024 was brutal and basically all of 2025 was restructuring and shit, a lot of upside if they get back on track though

>>61761806learn options before it becomes mandatory. not saying they will exist in their current form going forward, but understanding how to structure a trade with options gives access to speculation of very specific outlooks; insane convexity with well defined risk. anyone who tells you to stay away from options has microballs. read and learn until you can gauge the greeks of a specific option on it's price relative to underlying. similar to developing chart sense after a couple years. one example i had recently was looking at 9-12 month out of the money calls on EQT. for whatever reason, options chain really likes EQT and it's not because of vols. similarly, options chain despises CAPR and wants it in the fucking dirt.>>61761659thanks for reminding me about RGR looks pretty beaten up. might read it tomorrow

>>61761397This nigger is fucking retarded. Bit flips in floating point arithmetic are catastrophic. One bit flip and your floating point value jumps from 1.2*10^0 to 3.5*10^183. He's a double fucking retard because he doesn't understand how backpropgation makes one single floating point error propagate to the entire 100B parameter network and turn it all to NaN. He's a triple fucking retard because of how expensive it is to launch all that mass into orbit.
If anyone is interested, over on /g/ we made an album, i contributed a couple tracks to it, come hear what I do in my free time when I'm not losing money in the stock market>>>/g/108025873
Am I retarded or is currency swing trading a thing? It seems to me that exchange rates fluctuate over time within some lower and upper bound and pretty much never trading outside of it. Now if you bought low and selled high within that band you might have to wait years for only modest gains, but what if you used that currency to invest in stocks or buy a market ETF in that currency in the meantime? Then you would not only get the market return but IN ADDITION get a guaranteed currency trading return on top. Then when it swings you shuffle over to the other currency and buy stocks in the other currency until it swings back again.

Sandisk's guidance for third quarter earnings are $12-$14 a share, or about twice what they reported in late January. That would give them a PEG of just below 1. HowEVER... they lowballed their last earnings report by half. They whistled innocently and twiddled their thumbs and said oh, we think it's $3 and change. It turned out to be $6.20. Bear in mind they are 100% sold out for the year and they know exactly what their earnings are. If they pull the exact same stunt again, but only understate their earnings by 50%, that gives them a PEG of around .6, or almost the same as Micron's.Take all of that however you will.

>>61763018 Looking at the technicals in your screenshot, here is the cold, hard reality of what the "BULL" is doing: The Trend is Not Your Friend: Since late September, this stock has been in a textbook downtrend. Every time it tries to rally (the small green candles), it gets slapped back down by those downward-sloping moving averages (the colored lines). The "Falling Knife": You are currently sitting right at the "Lo: 6.96." There is no clear technical support level visible below this; when a stock hits new lows, it’s in "price discovery" mode, meaning it's looking for a bottom that hasn't been established yet. Volume: Those grey bars at the bottom show some heavy selling volume during the big drops in October and November. Big players were exiting. When a stock loses nearly half its value in four months, the market is usually pricing in a fundamental problem—either bad earnings, regulatory issues, or a shift in the sector. Ask yourself: "If I had $7.03 in cash right now, would I use it to buy this stock?" If the answer is no, you're only holding because of the "Sunk Cost Fallacy" (the hope that it has to go back to where you bought it).

>>61763211>instead of using LLMsLLMs hallucinate - they invent things that do not exist, or change things so they are not accurate. I would not trust them with my money. Microsoft inserted their AI in Excle and then said not to rely on it. I would expect LLMs to give you bad info. Reading the shitty news and figuring out what is real, accurate, reasonable is hard enough. What has worked best for me is to just keep watching and learning and thinking and developing your own thesis about investing in a company. I have in in and out of ASTS many times, buying low and selling higher. Along the way I kept reading about their tech, competitors and began to buy and hold lager positions. Still very volatile but the stock keeps moving up. The best buy and holds are ETFs that spread the risk. Look at VOO and VGT and see some other vangurad ETFs and compare what stocks and what percentages they hold. You are likely to get about 20% per year. You can also pick a few stocks in the ETF and buy some more to increase your exposure to it if you think its a winner.

CLINGING TO GORO.Are we looking at another jump in price amongst precious metal mining companies?Down to $1.35. There's been no talk of the merger in October being out right canceled. The merger is looking to buy a majority stock at a $2.28 per share. The 3rd party FED investigation is looking into the merger, but the merger speculation that the stock price would be bought at too low of a price. That's actually good news regardless for investors.Theres only 3 factors that can stop this stock from pushing theough past $2 currently.1.) The current GORO board and owners no longer think $2.28 a share is enough due to the profits of silver being extracted and call off the merger. 2.) Gold and silver drops to such a low number that the buyers in the merger no longer have interest in the GORO operations. This is the least unlikely.3.) The ultimate factor that will determine either first 2 options is if gold and silver continue to pull back down. For example, if silver goes down to $30 to $40 an ounce, this will lower not only GORO's value, but most mining companies value.

More public votes for locals is the the most obvious answer, but its never that simple.

I wonder when will the bubble pop, and how will the OpenAI and Anthropic IPOs look like? I think we need to wait for these two, maybe like a second earnings report will just kill it all. At IPO people will be still optimistic, money will flow in, MSFT and Amazon (maybe) and NVIDIA stock might jump a bit since they will not be expected to cover the funding. But the lack of profitability will be obvious. So late late 2026, early 2027, but warning signs will be already around the IPOs. Maybe things will already become shaky.I have absolutely no idea what will happen with my shares and derivatives of Alphabet, I even have no idea what will happen next week after its earning call. Maybe people panic about AI and everything goes to shit but Alphabet recovers faster or does not go down so much in late 2026. Alphabet next week will probably go up 0.87% day before reports, and fall down 1.2% after. Amazon next week will do nothing, up and down because of the capex and "thin" margins overall. No idea when or if things like Chinese stocks will grow much this year, will the software sector bump up nicely (Adobe, Salesforce, etc),how much chop will sp500 have. I do know that any few days of good market will be cut by Trump bullshit. Im fucking sick of it.

>>61763817>dump all my money into an asia ETF (longterm)South East Asia is historicly turbulent since the beginning of the 20th century. Singapore seems to be a good place for investments, but they really seem to be riding between the Western powers (America) and China. Theres no doubt some of their politicians are loyal to China. At least in the US you have a fighting chance. I dont think South East Asia is safe at all. Thailand's king is in love with Europe, so good luck. Im obviously not a financial guru and dont do it long term.My recommendation is take 1/10th of what you were going to invest in that ETF and do it. Take the rest to an actual fiance guy.
>>61763859bro, the other anon is looking out for you actuallyyour question had a couple huge red flags in it, the biggest being you probably haven't studied the very basics of personal finance (we are talking about stuff you can learn online in a couple hours) which can save you from wasting lots of money in the short/medium and long runtldr, if you wanna passive invest you wanna diversify as much as possible and there are very easy strategies to do it which are the opposite of going all in a single market etf (imagine if you put all your money in indonesia last month for example, or in russia just before the ukraine war)
>>61763817>going all in on asia before inevitable Taiwan invasionbuying SP500 and STOXX600 ETFs with a 70/30 split is the safe play now
>>61763890I agree
>>61763817yes it is retardedIf you are going to gamble based on your own perceived biases and vibes, just pick stocks, why bother with an etf. If you are aware of your own limitations (as a casual investor) and want to maximize your returns in the easiest way possible, then put some of your money in an asian etf and the majority in etfs in proven markets with long track records (yes that means the US)
>>61763890>>61763893China are the absolute kings of "nothing ever happens"They don't need to invade anyone.>>61763887I don't see the issue with them being loyal to china, but ok.>>61763906I just don't feel comfortable tying my money to an obvious sick horse.

>>61763929Currency Risk: You aren't just betting on companies; you're betting against the Dollar/Euro. If the local currencies devalue, your gains can vanish.Political/Regulatory Risk: Governments in some Asian markets can be much more "hands-on" with private companies than what you're used to in a managed Western portfolio.Concentration: Many "Asia" ETFs are heavily weighted toward China, Taiwan, and South Korea. You might think you're diversifying, but you might actually just be betting on a few specific industries (like semiconductors).
>>61763929>I don't see the issue with them being loyal to china, but ok.Their entire upper class invests in American properties, stocks, and other assets because they can just be knocked off, disappeared, and all ascets seized. They are a backwards people who hate anyone who isn't China, yet continue to move ascets outside of China known globally their government can kill them.China is fucked because all they do is eat their own.
>>61763929I think it's a good timing to enter mchi. I would still not go 100% in. Just like west they're in a risk for recession. I have 4%. If things looks good I'll go 8% MCHI. Looking at mchi since 2013 it's only up 13% so i don't think it's a buy and forget, i think you need to sell once you have gains. Not sure about rest of Asia. Let me know if you find anything interesting, I'd like to move away from USA only.
>>61763941to add: the metals rally is largely because chinese investors cannot invest internationally due to strict currency controls and regulation, and now the housing market is well into depression territory with the country heading to japan in the 90s territory they are jumping into anything still allowed (gold/silver). we saw this before when the late 10s bicoin surge was largely driven by chinese investors shortly before it being banned.
